Horrible went every 3 minthes continued to ask about nose. Was told just sun damaged skin. Over a year I finally got a biopsy. Went to have a quick removal maybe 2-3 stitches. More than a third of my nose was removed and replace with my. Cheek AND now I am getting hounded for a $55 co pay that I have already paid. Horrible. Stay safe read more

Kristina Anderson Wish there was a zero star option. My teenage daughter had been struggling with acne for years. It's been over a year since we started seeing her and what a huge waste of time and money. A quick in and out every time pushing the same 2 products every visit...one that they market and showcase in their offices and the other a very potent prescription with serious side effects. Every visit was like the first visit...no review of her file and the same speech pushing the same products. In addition my daughter also had a plantar wart that she would treat every 6 weeks with the freeze spray. Little did I know that the dermatologist would occasionally scrape the wart in order for it to heal faster...never happened...just another visit to charge...absolutely disgraceful...and given the sensitivity of a teenage girl's acne...she had zero...strongly suggest NOT going to this provider...she still had alot more learning to do especially in regards to people skills and patient rapport. read more

So I was prescribed tremfya for my psoriasis fought for 6 months with my ins co ti get it finally got the ok and was on it for a few months but it wasn't working. Went back to my PA who told me it's too soon to change meds ins won't cover the change unless I was on it for a few months longer! Meanwhile I'm breaking out all over my neck and at some points had to put ice packs on my neck to calm it down. When I saw my PA again she saw the inflammation on my neck and stated oh that's not good well no s..t I'm thinking to myself. So now we're switching gears to a different medication. Put it through my ins. Few weeks later I got 2 notices in the mail same day one denying it and the other okaying it. So i call the Quincy office to find out what I have to do next and was told that my PA needs to see me for the process which I said to the receptionist I already know how to inject I've been doing it for months, but I had to come in. So I make an appt through the. Quincy office to get an appt but asked to be seen in the Plymouth office. Gave me a 5;00 Appt had to leave work early got to the appt to find they didn't have the medication, then they were asking me did I hear from the pharmacy to deliver the med to me and I'm like no one contacted me so idk and now I'm annoyed cause I haven't been feeling good and now no one knows what's going on and they can't t reach the Quincy office cause now their closed. Now I'm beyond angry cause now I've been there for over an hour and i can hear them on the phone with who ever to try and find out what happened. I decide I'm leaving and run into the PA in the hallway I just said I'm beyond consoling right now but the conversation continued and I told her about the chain of events and she made it seem like I was responsible for the lack of not following up with the pharmacy and I'm like really do I have a number in my contact list to do such!! And then tells me that the co wouldn't release the med unless I paid a sizable co pay that was never told to me and went on about how these meds cost seventy thousand dollars to make! Then she states how they have gone out of their way to help me and I'm not even believing what I'm hearing, I'm in a health care profession and I know the protocol. Someone dropped the ball on their end but I get it u can't control everything but to spin it like it was my fault that things went belly up that's something else!! read more

Upon entering the doctor's office i was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I completed my paperwork and was promptly taken into the room where the Nurse provided excellent care. He asked me questions and took a picture of the spot on my lip. The nurse practitioner Jessica came right in. She needed to biopsy the area. She was very calm and gave me all the information I needed. She didn't rush me and gave me handouts with follow up care. I was advised to schedule a body check and when I scheduled it the receptionist was once again friendly and professional. The office was clean and I had an amazing experience! read more

Really had an easy stress free visit. All the staff are so friendly and kind not stuffy at all it's like going over a friends house. Get your skin checked because it's important you are important. There is a reason you can get a fast appointment here. After the initial first visit I was happy. Unfortunately it revealed bad news for my son. We set up another appt to have a procedure, it was scheduled for tomorrow. I have called them 6 times since last week I had a quick question for Dr. I wanted to ask if the stitches would disolve. 4 people called me today about tomorrows appt. They could not answer the question and they Dr was too busy to ask. One girl told me not to worry she is a mom to in a very sarcastic way. It would not do any harm. Let me ask you that if your child got the same results. I needed this information as we are flying next week. I had to finally cancel. I am so disappointed in the empathy towards patients. read more

Went for a crazy itchy long lasting rash (about 9 months at this point). Saw Becca who never gave me a diagnosis but did give me some steroid cream. Was told only to use it sparingly. The amount of medicine wasn't even close to enough for what I needed. After 3 calls to the office I finally got a call back from her assistant who told me that's all I get until my next visit next month. The medicine had started to work then stopped when I didn't have enough to finish treatment. Was treated rudely, shut down when I asked questions, and never got the full exam that I should of. Worst Customer Services DermASAPin Quincy is the worst clinic ever, irresponsible and incapable. Today I drove an hour to there for my daughter appt, and they told me the appointment was cancelled when I got there. I asked them why they didn't call me to tell me to reschedule, they said they text me on 12/21 about the cancellation. IT IS A LIE. I showed them I only got their text on 12/22 to ask me to confirm the appt and I did. They said ALL their medical personnel were out sick and no one can see my daughter. I can't believe the whole clinic; all the doctors and PA were out sick at the same time. If the patient did that, cancelling the appointment without telling them, they will charge us for a cancellation fee. It is so unfair and obnoxious. Totally wasting my time. We are paying their service and should not be treated like that. No one should ever go to that clinic again. read more

Was given a referral from my doctor, made appointment, kept appointment and provided referral and insurance info prior to being seen.. Checked out after appointment to make a follow up and pay any copays that were due. I was told there were none. I was given a new appointment, off I went. I was seen four times there, two I had to pay out of pocket as it was considered cosmetic and the other two were clinical and supposed to be covered, as I was told. Seven months later I receive two bills with interest and threat of collection. WTF! I called to try to straighten the situation out and couldn't even get through to a person, kept going to an after hours voicemail system. I am seeking legal action at this point. The only reason I have one star was because I had to in order to post this. It's too bad because the person I saw there was great, she gave no reason for complaint at all. Personable and competent. Can't say the same for the customer service though, that's for sure. read more

I chose this place because the reviews were decent and it isn't too far from where I live... but I will not be going back. I had initially called to ask how much the consultation would cost, and I was told $100, so I was expecting to pay $100 but I was not expecting the consultation to last only 3 minutes. I was literally in and out of there in 5 minutes and it cost $100! The front desk staff were not friendly at all and when I first came in and stood at the window, it was a while before either of them even looked at me let alone asked if they could help me (and it's not like they were on the phone or visibly doing anything else at the time).The doctor and his assistants were friendly enough (for Boston) but after the consultation was over, they left the room abruptly all at once without saying anything, and I was left there in the room alone and confused. I guessed that the consultation was over, so I had to find my way out to the lobby again. It was an odd experience. read more

I called for an appointment for sclerotherapy. The cost was to be $350. I arrived and was told by Dr. Kenneth Reed I was a candidate for laser. Never had it done before - was told same price. He lasered my veins and it was more painful than sclerotherapy. I was told no down time. Left the premises and paid my $350. The next week or two I wasn't seeing anything happen - my veins were still prominent. I called them back and was told I could come in for another $125 - I agreed. I really was hoping once he saw my legs he would realize this didn't work and not charge me. He came in room and told him I have been having sclerotherapy done for quite some time. He seemed reluctant but injected the 2 areas on my thighs that were there in the original visit. As he injected he told me it was my lucky day that they were responding. He then injected behind one of my knees - a total of 3 injections. They wrapped my legs in these disposable ace bandages and sent me on my way. Got out to desk and they tried to charge me $225. I said I am so reluctant to pay the $125 I was quoted on the phone. She said that they never would have said $125 - sclerotherapy session is $225. I told her I only came back thinking if I had to pay $125 but hoping doctor would see there was no result from first procedure (and its not the procedure I originally came in for) that he would waive the $125. I do not confrontation but I was a little ticked off. I left there paying a total of $475 with absolutely NO RESULTS - actually more veins broke out!!!! I chocked it up to a bad experience. I went there because the doctor I usually see was booked out until September and I wanted it done before summer. I was so upset but what could I do - not sure!!! I called the doctor I've been seeing just by chance he had a cancellation in the next week - I took it - at this point now he is booking out to December! I went to appointment and and told this story and they said I should write something - not sure where to write I chose yelp. I had my appointment for $250 - injected about 50 times - legs wrapped wonderfully and great results! I actually gave him a hug! Not sure whether to mention his name but he is a vein doctor! read more
