While deciding on vendors for our wedding, my husband and I were very cost conscious due to our budget; however, a very good DJ was one of our top priorities. Integral DJs was very thorough and organized while requesting and working with us on our music preferences. They provided an amazing spreadsheet that even helped me be more prepared for the wedding in general. A few days prior to the wedding, we had a conference call with DJ D-Look and our main request was that our reception be one big dance party and he delivered! It was non-stop music and dancing - one of the best receptions ever (I know I'm biased, but guests commented on how wonderful the DJ was too!). I would highly recommend them. Reliable, talented DJs? Yes - They exist! Integral DJs has worked with me for a few events now and each time we've had a wonderfully easy experience. The roster of DJs is solid and allows for you to select someone based on their style/portfolio. But if you're in a pinch and need someone on short notice, because they're all good DJs, you have great chances of finding someone here because they have a lot of employees and highly recommended DJs on staff to manage a lot of events at the same time. When speaking the Marc, the owner, he was very clear about what I should expect when using their services. He explained the types of equipment the DJs use, how events usually work, how songs/DJs are selected, and was extremely quick to respond to any question I had over email. Song flow is seamless, the party was always hoppin' and people loved what they were hearing. Our wedding was an incredible party and it was largely thanks to Marc. Marc kept the dance floor going and was very receptive to feedback from the crowd. He went from reggaeton to Nas to soul to rock and it was perfect for us. We wanted our wedding music to reflect our eclectic roots and Marc did a fantastic job of incorporating Ghanaian high life and my grandparents' favorite French songs seamlessly into his rotation. He put us at ease by being focused and calm when we first met with him and it was immediately clear that he loves and really knows music of all types. Our venue had some areas that were out of reach of the PA system and he personally walked around to make announcements to our guests. There are honestly only 2 things that people remember about the wedding reception - the food and the DJ. Yeah sorry to you brides who spent hours picking out the perfect flowers for your center pieces and making sure that your napkins are folded perfectly. It's all about the food and the music. I contacted Marc from Integral DJs after seeing their name pop up multiple times on the recommended vendor sheets from my venue and the "Top Wedding DJ" searches on Google and various Wedding websites. Not only did he respond promptly and get time set up for the two of us to chat - really it was me asking a billion questions over and over again. Not once did I feel pressured to make quick decisions and commitments. And after our conversations I knew they were the ones. Marc was a Godsend to work with throughout this entire process. Not only did he send me the most detailed planning document that I had ever laid eyes on, but he was always prompt answering any and all of my questions. Even before signing the contract, Marc encouraged me to check out their site and listen to samples from their DJs. First off - WOW - each and every single one of their DJs have amazing resumes - Djing with the most popular radio stations in Seattle, notable concerts, music festivals, popular clubs, looking through the list I honestly felt a bit star struck. Once the contract was signed, Marc sent me a planning spreadsheet. This spreadsheet was instrumental to planning and honestly my sanity. They broke down the entire wedding in a few simple pages - everything from who my bridal party was down to music genre choices, what songs to play and when, what not to play, who they should not take requests from, etc - everything. Integral DJs just made the process so simple - even down to the payments - you could easily pay online or send them a check and they would even send friendly reminders prior to the due dates. A bonus for using a reputable DJ, likely they have a working relationship with your venue - which they did so Marc coordinated with my venue - Bellevue Club in terms of coordinating set up and tear down. This may not seem like a big deal now - but it's one less thing to think about, one less call - meaning one less headache. Marc worked closely with me to narrow down the ideal DJ for my big day based on my music choices and the man of the night was none other than DJ Vega. A few days prior to the wedding Vega and I chatted over the phone - reviewing the entire event and chatting through musical preferences and all those little details that honestly no one thinks of. Vega shared so much great insight with me and encouraged me to call/text him leading up to the wedding if I had any questions or concerns. Even when I texted him at 6 in the morning the day of with a music change - he was so accommodating. I couldn't have been happier with his work during the ceremony and reception. We had a lovely time with Kitman, our DJ from Integral DJs! Kitman was very easy to talk to, flexible with our ideas, and very helpful in providing suggestions or personalizing the experience for us. For example, we were coordinating a special dance performance from us as the couple and our wedding party - Kitman helped us figure out how to get the guests into the reception room with a bit of pizazz and some interesting music that would start the performance. If I could give more stars I would. They deserve at least 10 stars :) Marc rocked our wedding on 4/20/13 and it was nothing short of amazing. We've had so many friends/family tell us how great they thought our DJ was, my parents even said, "He was so awesome, I don't think he ever took a break!" We found Integrals DJs via reviews online. I am very glad we did. We met with Marc and listened to samples of his teams work online. We were impressed and decided to move forward. We are extremely thankful we did. He made coordinating information easy prior to our wedding day. We had no concerns going into our big day. We did not have a wedding coordinator, but Marc's setup made it extremely easy to keep things moving smooth. DJ D-look was our MC and he kept things moving smooth before the wedding to the very end. I shopped around and Integral DJ was the only place that gave me calm feeling in a stressful time of planning a wedding. Our wedding was the best dance party ever thanks to DJ Kitman and Integral DJs! While out on the dance floor with friends and family, I had various people shout "this playlist is amazing!" "I LOVE this song!" or "Your DJ is killing it!" The dance floor was packed the entire night with a great mix of all the music we loved and discussed beforehand. Our DJ never missed a beat keeping up with all the events of the reception. My husband and I had our wedding on July 25th at the Fairmont Olympic and Kitman did a terrific job. I knew Integral DJ's was the best choice for us after meeting the owner, Marc Matsui, to discuss what my husband and I were looking for with our wedding music and lighting. He understood exactly what we were looking for, being a newlywed himself. He is extremely professional and very prompt in responding to any emails or calls. The pricing was extremely reasonable and such a terrific value given the quality of service they provide. We used Integral DJ's Amber uplighting to provide a candlelight/incandescent glow to the room and the end result was absolutely stunning. It brought out the detail in the Corinthian columns and it also added to the romantic ambiance. As for the music, we had Kitman for both the ceremony and the reception. I knew I wanted Pachelbel's canon in D Major for the Bridal walk down the aisle but I wasn't sure what I wanted for the bridal party. Given the music we liked, he suggested an acoustic version of Here Comes the Sun. It was the perfect choice for our big day and I really appreciated his consultative approach. We have been to many other weddings where the dance floor is empty an hour after the dinner service concludes, and we wanted to make sure our wedding stood out as a big celebration of love and happiness. Kitman assessed the crowd and not only played songs we recommended but also songs that kept people on the dance floor. The end result was incredible! Nearly all of our 140+ wedding guests stayed on the dance floor until the very end of our reception! I can honestly say that my husband and I had the celebration of our lives thanks to Marc and Kitman with Integral DJ's! Our wedding will always be my favorite wedding and I received nonstop compliments and praise from our family and friends regarding how they had the most fun at our wedding! Marc, Kitman, and the rest of the team at Integral are amazing--they really set the bar high in the Seattle area for audio professionals. I'd worked with them in the events world (working for a local caterer for many years) so I got to know them as a vendor, but hiring them for our wedding was pretty much a no-brainer. Their equipment is sleek, modern, and up to date, and their organization and professionalism on the planning side really shines through in their work. I knew I'd made the best decision in DJ as soon as they sent over their thorough and comprehensive Google sheet (that's speaking my love language). From that moment on, I didn't have a single worry that they'd make the audio component of our wedding go off seamlessly. (I should also mention we got married on a cliff on Vashon Island, and Kitman didn't bat an eye when told of the venue's provisions--or lack thereof.) They adhered to the play/do-not-play list perfectly. People keep commenting on what a banger of a dance party we had. They even stayed late when my (now) husband decided he wasn't done partying at the originally agreed-upon end time. Truly the best night of my life, and Integral played an *integral* part in that. We had SO many people ask us after the wedding who we used and we actually see a lot of the guys in Integral our DJing at some of our favorite spots on the weekend, which is part of the reason we really wanted to use them. We just go married on July 1 in Seattle and worked with D-Look who was absolutely incredible. All of our guests were complimenting him and saying how he created the best atmosphere for a fun evening (whether you were dancing or not). He expertly wove our suggestions with similar music and the party did not stop. I danced to EVERY SINGLE SONG and I would say more than half of our guests (of ages from 11-70+) were out there for the full night. We booked Integral DJs for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made! We initially met with Marc to talk about what we had in mind for the music and he went over in detail what we could expect on our big day. Throughout the planning stages, working with him and DJ D-Look was easy and stress free! If you are looking for an incredibly cool, intuitive, diverse DJ whose main objective is to excite your entire crowd with minimal DJ talk...Kitman is your man. We could not have been more pleased with the way he pulled our party together...and kept it going until the very last song. The company provided us with a detailed worksheet to complete prior to the wedding which helped us tremendously with scheduling. My husband and I were married last year in Seattle at the Olympic Sculpture Park and worked with Marc and DJ Phosho for our music and lighting for the reception. I agree with other reviewers that we are still getting compliments on how fun our wedding was, and I know that had a lot to do with Marc and DJ Phosho. First of all, Marc is incredibly professional and just a nice guy. Marc was our top vendor in that he: got back to us promptly; explained everything clearly and professionally; had a sensible/straightforward contract; and put us at ease about making a big decision (becoming husband and wife was obviously most important to us, but we really wanted to make sure our guests had a great time and danced the night away). He also has a very handy form to fill out for which songs/announcements happen when, as well as "must play" and "do not play" lists for us to fill out, so I knew we were on the same page and I appreciated his organization. Second, DJ Phosho was excellent. He did a great job making sure all age groups enjoyed the music - my friends and my parents' friends were out on the dance floor all night, and my older (80+) relatives never seemed put off by the music. He also did a great job announcing the bridal party, and keeping the flow of the night moving at a good pace. He never played any songs on our "do not play" list (or anything similar), and came up with great songs we wouldn't have thought of. Again, we just wanted a great party for our family and friends, and DJ Phosho hit a home run. Last, we got our lighting from Marc. It looked great, and we didn't have any issues with set up. If you want a professional, easy group to work with, and you want to make sure your family and friends have a wonderful time and the dance floor is full until the venue kicks you out - go with Integral DJs. read more
