Our vehicle was totaled in an accident and our car along with all its belongings were taken to Copart by our insurance. They made the decision after only three days of it being there to put all my belongings and children's belongings into one giant trash bag inside the trunk of the car. When my husband arrived to pickup our belongings we were told we could pickup at any time, we found them covered in furry mold and dripping wet. I had to throw away everything including important documents and some sonograms. It's unacceptable that they are claiming "policy" but say they can't differentiate what is trash and what is not. After the accident I was not able to clean out the car and pickup any food or plastic/paper bags. It seems simple to just use separate bags but they claimed they could not do that. They refused to understand the difference between trash and clothes, toys, shoes, and important documents. They are offering an apology and claim they will "try" to do better. I cannot believe they are running a business under these guidelines and scape goats. DO NOT USE COPART!!!

In the process, I have discovered this car I tried to purchase was licensed in California and the DMV Investigation Team informed me that there are no records that EZAutoAuction ever tried to transfer title into my name. In the meantime, I have also been told by AG's office that they have other people that have joined in this criminal complaint. Feel free to share any progress you have had against this agency, and I will do the same. I have documented all the information I provided above and will be opening a FaceBook page in the near future so we can all share what EZ Auto Auction is up to. Mr. Buckman said Indiana law states a car dealer has 31 days to deliver title after purchase. If this does not occur, a consumer would need to send a letter demanding title in 10 days (which I sent certified to them in August 2019) and if the title is not received in those 10 days, the consumer would be able to return the vehicle for the purchase price and any costs incurred. They refused refund me and give me title to a car I had paid for in full upfront: I paid $17,500 in May 2019 and NEVER receive title for the car they claim they had sold to me. I honored the 90 day resolution clause in their DocuSign contract, before I acted upon these complaints. I am now looking for an attorney to represent us in filing a civil case against EZAutoAuction.com (AKA Insurance Auctions, Inc.) If anyone has already started legal action against them, please let me know and I will continue to post updates on the trustpilot site.
