Misrepresented vehicle history and hostile management. Avoid! I signed paperwork on a used 2025 Mazda CX-50 that was advertised and verbally promised to be a 'one-owner' vehicle. After running the CARFAX and checking the dashboard, I discovered the dealership had actually titled the car to a second owner and driven hundreds of extra miles on it as a demo, permanently making it a multi-owner car. When I returned the next morning before paying or taking delivery to address the error, management refused to fix the contract, became incredibly hostile, and ordered me to leave the dealership. Thankfully, because no money changed hands and I never took delivery, the deal is legally void. Buyers beware: double-check the odometers and history reports here, and do not trust what the sales staff tells you. read more

I drove here a little while ago (I live 4 hours away) for an interview. Everything went well in the interview, I met the managers I needed to, except one refused to meet with me. There wasn't a reason given, but I had been told that they were going to hire 3 people, and 2 had already been given the position, so I can only assume that there was a change in the amount of hires. I had to stay in Indianapolis for an extra day in order to hear anything back. (The manager that refused to speak to me did not communicate for 2 days.) Very unprofessional, I do not recommend them. Spent a lot of money and time for nothing. read more

My car has been nagging at me to get my 5k mile service, which entailed an oil change and tire rotation. While I had a great experience with purchasing at this location, and felt confident that their great customer service would carry over to the service department, I wasn't looking forward to a long wait, in a waiting room...especially during Covid. First, I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered next day appointments. I chose later in the day and was told my car should be done in about an hour. My partner was surprised that they were charging me for the tire rotation, and swore we were told during signing that tire rotations were free with oil changes. Personally, I remember something along those lines, but couldn't remember exactly. They let me know that they provide free tire rotations with oil changes when you buy tires from them. I mean, I kinda did...right? I bought them with the car! I'm not bold enough to push the envelope, but it gave me a chuckle. I'm still learning my car, having went from a Dodge Avenger to a brand new, first time Mazda. For me, it has felt like buying a new car and computer at the same time. So I appreciated that at check-in, the first things I was asked was how I was liking the car and did I have any questions about any of the features. Everyone that I worked with gave A++ customer service, and I loved it so, so, so much. It is so nice to finally have continuous, positive experiences with purchasing and maintaining a vehicle. I noticed they offer what looks like a nice coffee bar and fountain soda, complimentary. They had hand sanitizer with a sign asking people to disinfect their hands before using the coffee machines and everything looked clean and well kept. The nice sized waiting was clean and the seats are quite comfortable. read more

Hubler Mazda - Just finished my first 5k mile service appointment. Fantastic service! - Car Dealers Near Me - Greenwood, Indiana

Went to where I bought my vehicle about 7 years ago for oil change & maintenance check up. My service advisor George was friendly & professional. They took my car back & then did something I really like here. They send you a video of what the service tech is seeing. Around the vehicle, the engine as well as under it. Then they text you what they recommend to be done and you can pick & choose those options. This is while you are in the nicely appointed waiting area. It's basically no touch customer service. I took a screenshot of the service coupon off their website & texted that back to the advisor after I made my selections on work to be done. I truly love the transparency. Once the car was ready George came over to let me know. I'm dinging the dealership 1 star for not doing the complimentary car wash there with service but instead giving a voucher to use at Brad's car wash ( a sister company). If the Hubler Acura store right next door can do washes I fail to understand why they can't at Mazda anymore. ‍ Overall though still a very good car service experience. read more

Easy, Enjoyable Car-Buying Experience Last weekend I purchased a new Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring from Hubler Mazda in Greenwood, and I am thrilled with both the car and the sales experience. My salesman, Matt Collins, was simply outstanding... I test drove a Mazda6 and a CX-9, and Matt's knowledge of both cars' features was astonishing. I couldn't stump him, and he was very accommodating on our two lengthy test drives. When's the last time you actually had fun buying a car? Hubler's showroom and service lounge are currently undergoing a huge renovation and expansion, so they're operating out of a trailer temporarily. (I'm told at least through the Spring of 2020.) Don't let that put you off... you'll spend more time in the car than you will in the trailer! I look forward to bringing my new CX-9 back for service in the new space. I highly recommend Hubler Mazda if you're thinking about buying a car. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, and I'm especially appreciative of Matt's friendly, low-pressure sales approach. Fun tip: ask him about the most exotic car he's ever driven. read more

Hubler Mazda - 2019 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring in Deep Soul Red - Car Dealers Near Me - Greenwood, Indiana

Avoid this dealership and service department at all cost. I bought a new 2024 CX-50 from them and when I took delivery it had a dent in the door and the gauge cluster had been damaged by the dealership during the pre delivery detail. I notified the dealership immediately and they scheduled a day to drop off the vehicle later that week. Once I went to pickup the vehicle is when things really went downhill. Not only was the gauge cluster not better, it was actually worse than before. On top of that the dash wasn't even put back together correctly and every panel they removed had damage from improper tools used for removal. When I called and spoke with the service manager about this he said it was done perfectly and he had personally inspected the vehicle and there was nothing else they could do. There are several Mazda dealerships around, pick any of them over Hubler. read more

I loath waiting at dealerships or tire places. It's the thing that I can't stand, but Hubler Mazda makes it bearable. I had an appointment at 10. They were ready for me at 10. The lady at the service desk was by far one of the nicest and most helpful humans I have ever met. She got me set up for my maintenance and then sent me inside to wait. I had free coffee and water and watch some Fixer Upper. She came in to talk to me about my car when there was a hiccup and she went through all the maintenance I could do (if I had money). She was seriously super helpful. She even found a key for my after market rims. I like this place. It's clean. They have coffee, magazines, tv, and even iPads if you want them. If I had to sit and wait somewhere, this is where I'd sit and wait on car service. read more

Came in, put down a deposit on a car to be delivered next week. Next week comes, and I'm given a small apology and a promise that it would be in next week for sure. This happened two more times before I asked them if the really wanted me to buy their car. They said that they didn't care about me, and they would be able to sell the car regardless. I got a car from another dealership the next day. I would not trust Hubler Mazda not to scam me out of money, much less something as important as a new car or repairs read more

My first experience with Hubler Mazda came when I was shopping for a Mazda a few years back. I actually wasn't a fan of this dealership at first. They didn't have the particular car I wanted and weren't able to get the price down to something agreeable. I ended up purchasing my car elsewhere and had my service done there for several years. However, life happened and I now live in Greenwood. The other Mazda dealer is no longer that close to me. I hesitantly scheduled my service appointment for this location and it was actually a great experience. I was a little thrown off by the price at first (the same appointment cost more than the other dealer) but I talked to the dealership about it and they redeemed themselves. The service appointment was extremely fast -- faster than I expected. The waiting area left a bit to be desired -- it was kinda odd being basically right in the middle of the dealership. It's just a few couches with a TV. They do allow you to borrow their iPads to get on while you wait though. After the appointment, they were helpful and explained everything I needed to know. I know my car is in good hands here! read more

I have been a loyal Hubler customer for well over 30 years, and I never would have thought that I would purchase a car from any other lot. After spending a couple minutes at Hubler Mazda dropping of my car for service, I seen the first bit of unprofessional, and unacceptable behavior out of the Sales Manager. He literally ran after a couple and their kids yelling at them for not buying a vehicle. After the family, rightfully refused to stop and talk to him, the sales manager came into the building and chewed out the salesman like it was his fault the sales manager is a complete ass with no customer service skills. Prior to writing this, I contacted the salesman I purchased my current car from. As a former employee, he explained that the sales manager has always been that way, and that's why he moved to Ray Skillman Ford. I guess from now on, my family and I will take our multiple purchases per year to Mr. Skillman since Brad Hubler allows his management to treat his customers and staff like trash. read more

I am always impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of every staff member at Hubler. They are helpful, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. I wish I could give them 10 stars! read more

I had to stop here for help on a road trip and their sales department was a huge help. I don't live in Indianapolis but if I did I'd get my next Mazda from them. "Top Notch Management!" I flew in from NM to help my son buy a Mazda 3. Our salesperson, Justin Jones, was so helpful and willing to work hard to earn our business. I own a business and the leadership can make or break a business. I have to say that the General Manager, Stuart, really made the difference. Stuart was one of the most professional and top notch GM's I have ever negotiated with! He and I worked hard together to make this purchase fit within my son's budget. And, he went above and beyond to make it happen. The negotiating was fun for both of us. Kudos to the leadership at this dealership and if you're looking to buy a Mazda, don't go anywhere else--nobody will earn your business like Hubler Mazda! read more

Went to look at a Mazda CX-5 on Black Friday. Wasn't really expecting to buy. But due to the efforts of my laid back salesperson Jimmy Smith & his manager Ed Shurlock I was able to walk out with a deal that was within my price point & they could live with. They didn't have the particular model with the features I wanted but were able to trade with another Mazda dealer in Indiana to make it happen The F & I guy was even able to beat my very good pre- approved financing rate by over 1%! No high pressure at all just both sides working to get a deal that worked for us the store as well as myself . This is how the car buying experience should be! read more

Went all day to car shop and was having an awful experience until we showed up at Hubler Mazda. All the other dealerships wouldn't give us the time of day, but as soon as we showed up at Hubler Mazda, Patrick came out with a smile and was very understanding and allowed me to take all the time I needed. I didn't have a specific car in mind, and he allowed me to look at each and every used SUV they had. We then found the perfect car, but it was at another location. He offered to go to the other location (over an hour away mind you) to pick up the car and we set an appoint to come back a couple days later to check it out! When we went back to drive the car, he let me drive it around for about 25 minutes to make sure it was what I liked. He didn't once try to pressure me into buying it. He was laid back, funny, and felt like a friend and not a salesman. I felt as though he was in my corner throughout the experience, and that felt good. He understood it was my first time buying and he made it a fantastic experience. Thanks, Patrick! And everyone else reading this, I highly recommend him if you want to have a relaxing car buying experience! read more

On 4 February 2019 I purchased my 2016 Miata MX5 out of the lease. I leased the car from Hubler on 8 July 2016, and I wrote them a personal check on 4 Feb 2019 for the full price. Indiana law requires that they provide me with title within 31 days. As of today, 44 days later, I still don't have title. I've called the dealership several times, I spoke with Brock the business manager and with Mr. Hubler, himself. Both of them deny that they have any obligation to provide title. They say Mazda Chase Credit owes me the title. Finally, one a three-way conference call, Mazda Chase Credit's supervisor told Brock that they'd sent the title to the dealership on 5 March, and it was the dealership's responsibility to provide my title, which is what I saying all along. That was on Friday 15 March, and Brocki said he'd get back with me, and I've heard nothing. I've complained to the BBB and the Indiana Attorney General. I'm preparing to hire an attorney. These people are not customer oriented, oh they look that way when you are spending your money with them, but after they get your money you are just dog meat. If you go to Hubler not expecting much, you won't be disappointed. read more

This had to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a car dealership. I set an appointment to see a car and confirmed the car and the price. The car looked great and drove great. When we got back to the dealership and started discussing a deal the salesman asked me how I found the car and the price. I informed him it was on cars.com for $16,997. He informed me that price was wrong and I even showed him that price was currently listed on autotrader.com. The stealership refused to honor that price even after I informed them that is called "Bait and Switch" and is against the law. The salesman tried to blow that off and refused to honor the price. The rest of the experience at the dealership didn't get better. There are plenty of other dealerships in town, do yourself a favor and visit one of them instead for your next vehicle! read more

I recently purchased a used Mazda SUV and traded in a domestic SUV. I'm giving Hubler 3-stars but they weren't that far from a 4-star review. Price: Unlike a previous reviewer the price I showed them was indeed their asking price. But in my experience the price on the window doesn't mean anything and we barely discussed it other than to say that was their starting point. Car-buying is a process of negotiation and they shouldn't take my first offer and I'm certainly not paying what is on the window. Selection: They had the exact used-car that I was looking for in the color I wanted. So for me the selection was great. Having said that it is a Mazda dealership and those tend to be smaller. This one seemed to be on the small side of small. Cozy... if you will... But they seemed to have a great selection of new Mazda 6s; I didn't really look at any other used cars. Salesman: My salesman desperately wanted to make a sale. That gave me a lot of confidence. The weather has been terrible this January and (while no dealer will ever admit it) I knew their sales for the month had to be miserable. Still, a motivated salesman doesn't necessarily mean a great price. However, after going to the sales manager once my salesman seemed to have been given some leeway to negotiate. Sales Manager: If you are doing your job right you should end up dealing with this guy. (Because you have been so tough on your salesman he has to call in a closer.) I spoke to him briefly and he seemed to be pretty motivated as well. I think they either got the car I wanted at a great trade-in price or I wasn't asking enough for my trade (or both). Trade-in value: They gave me a bit of a low-ball offer on my trade; to be expected... Thankfully I knew what another dealership was going to offer me (after they tried to low-ball me, too) so I had that as a baseline. They ended up coming up on their offer and I came down just a little because I was ready to get rid of it and I had some equity. Price: They actually gave me a better price than I thought I would get. I was willing to pay more but they ended up taking one of my offers. Having said that I was getting ready to walk if they didn't make a deal soon and I think they knew that. Depending on the website you use (NADA/KBB/Edmunds/etc) I basically got it at trade-in or a little more than. My sense is they still made some money on the sale and they will definitely make money on my trade-in... Prep: The salesman had my new to me car washed and detailed. He switched my plate over for me and gave me a pretty good run-down on the electronics. He paired my Bluetooth phone and showed me how to use the hands-free option. He was pretty knowledgeable as well he should have been since it was a Mazda. Negatives: My salesman told me the car was "Certified". In my mind we were talking Mazda Certified Pre-Owned but I figured out later he was talking about "Hubler Certified Pre-Owned." Those are two entirely different things. I specifically recall him saying it came with and extended bumper-to-bumper warranty and an extended power-train warranty. That is what a Mazda CPO car comes with. However, a Hubler CPO car only comes with a Q-Certified power-train warranty (at least in my case). Also, in my case (a car well under the factory power-train warranty), from my reading, the Q-Certified power-train warranty basically duplicates what I already had from the manufacturer. It does not start once Mazda's factory power-train warranty expires at 5 years or 60k miles. A Mazda CPO power-train warranty adds two years (total 7) and up to 100k miles to the factory warranty. The Q-Certified warranty that Hubler buys you starts from the day you purchase, lasts two years and up to 100k miles. So unless I go from 60k-100k miles in the next 2 years (no way since I am at 36k now) the Q-Certified warranty is worthless. Could I go in their and pitch a fit? Sure, but I got such a great price and the Mazda has a solid power-train anyway. I'm not really worried about it. Had I paid asking price I definitely would have complained and probably should on principle alone. That is where the 3-star rating comes into play. Finance: They matched the rate I was quoted through a credit union. Finance was a breeze and painless. They knew I was a bargain shopper so they didn't press the add-on sales needlessly. Service: Not sure if I will have my car serviced there or not. There are much closer Mazda dealers to me. I did call and set up an appointment to have the seat heaters looked at and the adviser on the phone was very nice and informative. I ended up canceling after determining they are just weak, but they are indeed functional. I'd definitely go back if they had the car I wanted again but I'd try to slow it down a bit. I was in a rush and it worked for and against me. Overall I was satisfied with the purchase and we love the SUV. read more

I went in just looking around since it was my first car buying experience and I had honestly no idea what I wanted or what I was doing. I drove a Nissan Rogue and loved it- of course I hadn't had a chance to compare prices and look at others since this was my first spot. The salesman immediately took advantage of this and harassed me about financing- I ultimately left in tears because he was so rude and obnoxious. Then icing on the cake they continued to call me for the next 6 months and asked if I was ready to buy a car from them- I eventually answered a phone called proceeded to say some not nice things then blocked their number. read more

Went in to test drive a CX-9. Loved the car and was ready to make a deal until I met the sales manager. I believe he said his name was Jay. He was rude, disrespectful, and was trying to either take advantage of me or bully me into buying something that I didn't want. He had no interest in negotiating whatsoever, which is odd considering they are doing business from a trailer right now. The entire experience was a waste of my time. I will buy my CX-9 somewhere else. read more

My saleswoman, Crystal, stuck by me throughout the entire experience. They took a bit more off the asking price as well as an adjustment to the down payment. Even better, the car was gased, detailed and washed when I picked it up. I felt no pressure at all when looking, even after I made the error of going through another dealership. The car is great, a 3I. But the maintenance needed - standard scheduled stuff - costs too much to have dinner at the dealership. I really feel that since I bought it brand new, they should value me more and bee more competitive. I'm going to have to get these things done elsewhere because they priced themselves out. I just can't afford to get things done there. I bought new from them, and that should mean more than what they're showing. Plus, the guy that got the commission from mymy purchase treats me like I have the freaking plague when I show up. Just unfriendly. I deserve better. read more

I bought a new Mazda 6 last August and it was unfortunately totaled on Good Friday. Seeing how the car handled the impact made it an easy decision to buy another one. The exterior was impacted quite hard from a dead stop by an SUV, and while the car was a total loss, the passenger compartment looked untouched and we were well protected. My previous experience with Hubler Mazda was so excellent that there was no question that I would buy another car from them. Rob Jenne went ABOVE and BEYOND to make my car experience as easy as it gets. I called him on a car I saw online...and walked out the door three days later. The other salesmen there stayed over an hour late to finish this process since my schedule did not allow for me arrive during business hours. Car was as promised, payment as we discussed and with it being a used car I was thrilled it had a warantee included! I am loving every minute driving my car in this weather--it was a bit frivolous of a purchase since I have a brand new car -but this is a convertible in perfect condition! Many recommendations to Rob and his team! A week later I called Rob and told him I had a squeaky brakes & my sideview mirror wasnt working right...again, "come on in", he said. Took my car in, gave me a nice rental for the time my car was in the shop....no questions asked! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HUBLER AGAIN! I bought a 2007 Audi A4, with a few problems that were obvious such as the a/c not working and a check engine out due to a faulty coil plug. I was told it had a full recommended maintenance and the car had no other issues. Being a used car it was extremely well detailed, the engine bay looked as it was new. The next morning I proceeded to take my newly purchased vehicle to a VW dealer to diagnose the problem with the AC, in the afternoon I received a call form the VW dealer informing me on top of the AC problem I had over $2000 worth of repairs!!! Such as CV boots spitting grease, fan module out, and vacuum pump being faulty and dripping oil all over the back side of the engine, these were the exact words of the service adviser from VW "Who ever cleaned this car did a very good job of hiding the problems." I proceeded to leave a voicemail to the salesman that sold me the car, Mike Ferguson (not stating any issues in the voicemail). With in an hour I received a call back, I told him the problems I encountered and that I would like to speak with his manager because this was unacceptable business. He told me that the manager was out of the office (it was later in the evening) and that they would contact me first thing in the morning. I never got a call back even after multiple of attempt to reach them. Bottom line is this dealer only wants to sell you the car and will not take care of you after the purchase, not even a curtesy of a phone call back. If you are about to buy a used car do not listen to the salesmen and make sure to take it to a trusted shop for a full inspection. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HUBLER AGAIN! read more
