DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! The gentleman who did my nails was rude and very impatient. My nails look nothing like the photo that I showed him when I walked in. I was the only customer there and it was moved three times to several different chairs. When the gentleman went to file the nails, he was going to leave one nail significantly shorter than the others until I asked him to put a nail on top to match the length of the others. My nails have several lumps in the costing does not Cover the nail completely. They offered to fix them another day. However, I was already in that salon for over an hour and a half. with the way that his work was done, I had no confidence that it would be fixed and did not go back. my best advice is to not go to this salon at all. read more

Hello, I went to this salon today because my regular salon was too busy to take me for a pedicure. I have a new regular salon now. I was very happy with the service I got. Tim helped me. Tim was friendly and relaxed; he gave me a great foot and leg massage. Most salon techs just kinda rub your legs and feet randomly, but Tim had technique. My pedicure came out great. The salon was immaculate and had a fantasy atmosphere. The music was popular songs with alternate artists and Jazzed. Not the best music but everything else was 100% perfect. I found them on Instagram and DM'd for info & such. They replied right away & was very informative. I was able to get an appt that same day. The second I stepped foot in to this place, I was greeted BY MY NAME! Which I thought was awesome. I didn't have to wait. I got seated right away. Chancy did my nails. I had "hard gel" & though it took forever to remove the hard gel, she was very patient & even asked every 5 seconds if she was hurting me. Which I thought was sweet. Most techs do not care. Pros: The service at Instyle Nail Leesburg is great. The workers are super friendly and engage with customers. It's very neat and social distancing is definitely in full affect. Cons: I wanted to get marble nail design on two fingers. I was told it was possible, and towards the end, I was told it would not look like the picture I showed them. I was very confused because I messaged them on Instagram, and they said the can do the exact nail design for me. The nails were not the length I wanted so I hoping the design will turn out good with the short nails. I was wrong. The gold polish they used got on my sleeves, and didn't look good. I eventually ended up changing the nail design to diamond. It was alright. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with my service. I believe the pictures they post on Instagram are inspired photos, so I felt deceived. If you're looking for basic full set then I recommend this place but not for modern/trendy nail designs. read more

Booked an appointment with Jackie, who apparently was the best one there, and she was so rude. My nails turned out nothing like the picture. Super chunky nails. She rushed my manicure and when I asked for the pink diagonal flowers on the pointer finger she said "im lazy but i will do it" then continued to rush and not do it. The shittiest place I have ever been to. Would not recommend for anyone. If you cant do a design exactly how the picture looks, say that instead of giving a horrible end product that looks nothing like the picture. Most unwelcoming environment. My toes were in desperate need of a pedicure, especially after not having any care for three months due to COVID. I'm not from the area but after shopping at Leesburg I decided to look up a nearby salon. I called InStyle to see if they had any available appointments & luckily they did. They were able to get me in right away. This has got to be the best $30ish I've spent on a pedicure (tip, if you check in there is a 10% discount). All of the nail techs are super friendly. They greet you as soon as you come in and offer you a beverage. The pedicure itself was relaxing and my toes are now ready for the beginning of summer! Unfortunately I do t live nearby, but if I'm ever in the area and need a pedicure, I'll definitely return. read more

Nail tech started on me right away while husband waited 45 minutes next to me - they kept saying someone would be right with him every time we asked. Others who came after us were attended to. I was pretty much done with my pedicure at this point (an hour later) when they told my husband that they were unable to give him a pedicure!!! What was the point of making an appointment?? They overbook appointments or welcome walk ins and have no sense of time. They should have just been up front with us at the beginning instead of making my husband wait an hour with expectations that someone would be with him right away! Whole point was to get it done together! Save your time and go elsewhere. read more

I would give them less than one star if I could. My friend and I went in for a mani and pedi combo. My friend got a full set and asked for ombré. Instead of being told they couldn't with her length of nail or that they just couldn't do it in general, they proceeded. It was so bad that she ended up asking to just get a gel color instead. The nail tech ended up filing off the edge of the acrylics so far that he filed her actual nail off, which hurt her really badly and she is still currently in pain. See pictures below. They were kind enough to make her not pay for ombré but still made her pay for the full set even with them looking like this. The owner is really nice and Mike, a different nail tech who did my manicure, was also really nice and did a great job. They were the only reason we had an okay experience. My wife and I have been coming here for a few years now and InStyle Nails just keeps getting better and better. Tim and Jackie are our personal favorite people to see, but everyone here is truly an artist. Recently, the salon has been re-done and I love the modern, relaxing look. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. It's also really nice to have a real conversation with Tim and Jackie and no matter how long it's been, it's like catching up with an old friend as they remember everything. The pricing is very competitive and worth every penny. The services are also constantly evolving with new nail art and available products. We travel about 30-40 minutes to come here for nails. For a post mother's day gift my daughter wanted to take me for a spa pedi and mani w/designs on my nails. She made the appt in advance. When we arrived the staff was not pleasant, rushed us to a seat, did not give me a chance to pick out a color even for my toes, she could not answer questions about whether they could do the type of nail design I wanted (in fact, the answer was no, which we found out later). I actually had to walk with wet feet to get to the polish to choose one for my toes. When I was trying to pick out a color for my hands, the lady came and took the gel samples right from my hand. I told her I wasn't done and she took it anyway! I was disgusted. I opted only for the pedi, only because my feet were already in the tub, AND I knew it was already going to hurt my daughter's feelings because she was trying to do something nice for me. Plus she thinks it's rude to insist on good customer service. LOL. So I politely said "I think I'll just get the pedi today". I had to say it many times because they were persistent and I was about to yell at them so I finally said "You are all really stressing me out, and I need you to stop please. I'm ONLY getting the pedicure." The massage was HORRIBLE... he barely touched my legs/feet. The polish job is fine, but nothing about that experience was good. And much to my SHOCK my daughter also opted out of the mani. She had the opposite experience for her pedi. That tech was super rough with her legs and she said it hurt. So nope. We won't be back. Seriously, when my daughter complains that is really horrible. She never complains about service lacking. Ever. read more

I went here with a friend on Sunday 11/17 and I loved the entire experience. I got dip nails with extensions and lash extensions. The nails came out looking beautiful, my favorite part was the shape of them! I have not gotten lash extensions before, but I will never go back now! I have been coming to this salon for over a year and a half, just after the new owners took over, and I absolutely love it! I have seen just about everyone there and can attest that they are all wonderful. Ms. Ann, the owner, is a very customer conscious person and really wants every customer to be happy, not just the regulars. I have gone in a few times for touch ups to my gel manicures but none were ever because of craftsmanship (I break my nails regularly even with gel and it would happen with acrylic too). I'm very hard on my hands and nails but I know they will take care of me. They have a recent addition to the team, Phoebe, that does amazing detail work with designs, just ask to see her portfolio! I don't understand all of the negative reviews. I've seen, personally, each team member bend over backwards to ensure customer satisfaction. So if you weren't able to get results and you pointed your finger at someone here to lay blame then maybe the real problem was you all along. A list of the people who have taken care of me or my daughter (yes even she enjoys going here) include: Ms. Ann, Tim, Ms. Bo, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Tracie, Vinnie, and Phoebe. There have been others as well but they aren't there anymore so I forget their names. The color selection they have is stupendous and always changing. Tim is always adding newer and fresher colors to the palate. Don't come here if you want to be taken care of. And if you aren't happy with your results try checking your attitude. First off I'd like to say that Jackie is the only employee I would recommend going to. She is great and this review should not reflect her work. That being said, I was there a few days ago getting a pedicure. I asked for a pedicure and the technician did a deluxe pedicure without asking me and charged me for it. It was a decent pedicure, but I felt ripped off and taken advantage of. Then, one of my toe nails got infected. This kind of thing should not happen if they are using proper cleaning techniques.
