I am usually one to do the heavy lifting in my household myself but as of recently I'm not able to do that as much as i used to. Taking care of my disabled son has been getting harder and harder as the years go by (he's 25 now) to the point where I injured my right leg and my doctor warned me not to do as much physically taxing work, and to save my strength for more important things. Because of how labor and time-intensive it is to keep up my 4-bedroom house, I decided that housecleaning would be the first thing that i would outsource. I found instamaids here on yelp and decided to give them a shot. Booking on their website was super easy as they didn't need too much info and I liked their flat rate pricing. I was also pleased that they were able to accommodate a schedule change when i needed it. The maids they sent us did an exceptional job much faster that i ever could have and i could tell that they had lots of housecleaning experience. They needed no instruction at all, they just came in, got to work, asked me if i was satisfied or needed anything else, and were on their way. I certainly feel lucky that i had such a good experience on my first try and I hope they can keep up this standard of service. I would definitely recommend instamaids and will continue to use them myself. Update: After I contacted InstaMaid about the issues with my recent cleaning, they responded and offered a partial refund. I appreciate that they took the time to listen to my concerns and made an effort to make things right. While the experience was disappointing and raised serious safety concerns, I do hope they take this feedback seriously and implement better training and communication with their cleaners moving forward. I've used InstaMaid three times now. The first couple of visits were okay--not exceptional, but acceptable. However, my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing and concerning. I informed the two cleaners that I would be out during their visit and would return in about two hours--the same time estimate they gave me. They agreed without issue. But when I returned, they were already gone. Worse, the front door was left unlocked and several windows were open. No call, no text, no notice to the company. I was shocked by this serious lapse in responsibility and disregard for home security. To make matters worse, the cleaning itself was subpar. Water marks were still visible on the bathroom faucet, and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been touched at all. For a service that claims to be professional, this was unacceptable. I'm deeply disappointed, both with the quality of cleaning and the lack of basic accountability. I expected better from a company I've trusted multiple times. read more

The cleaning itself was normal everything about the way they treat customers is below average. Needed house cleaned for a move out. One they showed up an hour late so I had to take extra time off work to open door for them. Then they told me they would wait so I could come back home and lock doors. They did not and left my house unlocked in the middle of the day. Then when I came back on my lunch from work they had found a bottle of lighter fluid and left it on our wooden fence rather than storing it, talking to me, or disposing of it safely. On top of that they threw a can of oven cleaner they found in our bushes. What the hell? You couldn't dispose of that either. Last but not least I called and asked the manager "Mark" if they could talk to the cleaners and get back to me and see if they could do something to compensate for the time or mistakes. Never called back or responded he was happy to run my credit card though. Update: The owner from Instamaids reaches out to me and apologized for what happend. They also helped rectify the situation with me and went out of their way to make up for what had happend. I know they are a large company I hope this was a one off situation, but the follow up ha been excellent. read more

InstaMaids is actually the reason I created a Yelp account! I couldn't find a convenient cleaning service that was easy to communicate with until I found these guys. I've used their maids for months now and I couldn't be happier. I'm constantly moving things around because of how busy I am and their admin side is always super friendly in accommodating my requests. I've had a few different teams come to my place because of that and they have all been amazing. The flat rate pricing is very convenient and I use some of the extras on occasion to really get some deep cleaning in. Most cleaning services take forever to get back to you or only communicate via phone. But I have always been able to send a quick email for scheduling and they get back to me quickly to get my cleanings scheduled. I don't get how anyone could possibly leave a bad review, but than again some people are just impossible to please. If you're looking for a great cleaning service, InstaMaids is the way to go. Hector and Thelma were very friendly and I gave them a quick tour of my 2 bed/ 2 bath and then I left. They quoted me that they would be done in 2 hours, and at exactly 12noon I received a phone call that they were done. I wasn't able to make it back to leave a tip, so Hector let me know that I could contact Instamaids and they would add it for them. I am actually new to Yelp, but I need to say that these guys know what they are doing, I had talked to Darren in 2013, we got house cleaning service from them, I was very impressed the way they did their job, I did tip the maids that came out and then this year when I needed service, i called their number and I talked to Daniel, he booked my service on the phone, I loved the way he talked to me in detail so that I can tell him about all the spots in the house that need special attention, when the maids came, they did make sure those areas are given special attention, I am really happy about it, after the service I got a call from Steven or Steve and he wanted to make sure everything was according to what I wanted and if there were any complaints. There are so many cleaning companies in this area now, but I haven't found one that was pleasant and easy to communicate with like InstaMaids, and the cleaning itself was amazing. I tried HomeJoy just because it was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. One person who wasn't an experienced cleaner who took a whole day to do a very sub par job. I'm a picky person and everyone likes things done differently when it comes to getting their home cleaned, but they were very flexible with my cleaning/requests and they covered everything I asked for. I understand that it can take some back and forth to get things understood with a service like this and dealing with someones home, but these maids were awesome and got it done on the first time around. Not too sure why anyone has had anything bad to say because they were excellent over the weekend. Their Holiday discount came at perfect timing because I needed a last minute Father's Day gift and wanted to do something a little different. It was super easy to schedule a cleaning and I didn't have to even call anything in (good, I'm too lazy). My Dad hates cleaning and trust me when I say they had their work cut out for them.
