Tip Top did an outstanding deep clean -- they got into areas that hadn't been touched in a very long time. The team was thoughtful and respectful of my need to keep working in one of the rooms while they cleaned. Highly recommend! read more

Update: Roy and his team are the best. Efficient, THOROUGH, and trustworthy. Did I say thorough? I can't stress that enough. We started services with him to do a deep clean and almost 3 years in and on to a new place Roy is still with us. I wouldn't look for anyone else to trust your home with. This is the second time I've used Tip Top for Move Out Services. The first time I used them, my landlord asked for their number because they did so much better than their usual cleaners. I was in a bind for my move out tomorrow and they were able to fit me into their schedule. They cleaned my 1Bedroom in under 3 hours despite the bad shape I left it in. The cost for their support was worth every penny and under the price I was expecting. I told them they would be my number 1 for any cleaning services. Wish I took before and after photos read more

I highly recommend them--they do an amazing job every time. I can leave my home with complete trust, and when I come back, it's spotless and shining. True professionals who know exactly what they're doing. read more

Schedule our deep cleaning two weeks ago and the shower up on time . No delays and just as promised...a 3 member team. They divided out this - bathroom and kitchen only out super quick and they all went to work. After completing we walked through and suvayed the cleaning.... they didn't miss a thing. Excellent work. I'm glad we went with Tip Top! They were very professional and amazingly good at what they do. We wanted our place cleaned so it looked brand new and the team delivered. It seemed like a lot of work but Veronica, Joseline and Anna made every nook and cranny spotless, in addition to getting all the grease and hard water stains removed. The place looked brand new and smelled so fresh when they were done. I highly recommend Tip Top house cleaning service! read more

Rodrigo, Carmen, and Ed are the dream team! I am a neat freak, and when it comes to cleaning, can be very picky. We initially hired Tip Top for a move-in cleaning, but due to the inflexibility of the movers, Tip Top cleaned afterwards and I'm SO glad they did because the movers left the place a MESS. They require an initial whole-house deep clean prior to setting up recurring services. The night before, I got a reminder text, and they arrived on-time the next day. They cleaned everything except for the two rooms we hadn't unpacked. The difference was like night and day. They wiped down every surface, used chopsticks to get into hard to reach places, and even cleaned our crawl space. Everything was cleaned and returned to its place. Bottles, decor, even the top of the cabinets. I almost cried when they were done because it felt like a completely new home. They even cleaned our windows for us! It took 6-7 hours, which was exactly the estimate given and the cost was the same. We recently had our first monthly recurring cleaning and they did an equally thorough job. This time, it was a lot quicker since they had deep cleaned before. It still took 3-4 hours since they had to finish deep cleaning the other rooms, but I didn't mind. We paid extra for them to clean our outdoor storage areas, and I was still blown away at how wonderful of a job they did. I am super social and talkative, and they don't seem to mind, nor does it slow them down. I'm so glad that they had availability for recurring services because I have no idea what I'd do without them. I don't have any before/after pictures, but trust me when I say that it was shocking how clean everything was. A few things to keep in mind: They are not the cheapest cleaning service, nor are they the quickest. HOWEVER they are worth the time and money. I am a meticulous cleaner, and they took it 3 steps further. They take their time, and do it right. I love supporting a local, family-owned business and really wish I had found Tip Top Cleaning services earlier! read more

Requested a quote for tile and grout cleaning in bathrooms. I was told it would be a 3-5 hour job for 3 bathrooms and quoted me 447-596 dollars. I agreed to the price, and stated it will probably be on the low end because my bathrooms are in decent shape. I said I didn't expect to pay more than 500 dollars. The vendor declined to perform the work despite me offering a price that was within their estimate. It seems like this vendor likes to provide price ranges, but doesn't like to settle on a price before performing work. That's not how business is done. No homeowner should agree to have someone perform work on their home without an agreed upon price. Very poor business practice and customer service. What a waste of time. Luckily I found a higher rated cleaner for a more reasonable price. Don't waste your time here. read more

Tip top cleaners always does a great job cleaning our house from top to bottom! They are quick and thorough.

Got an appointment right away when I called them. Rodrigo is very nice and very responsive. They also did an spectacular job cleaning my room and bathroom and gave me a very reasonable price. Will def recommend them to my friends and family in the area read more

I received a quote very quickly from Tip Top cleaning, as well as same day cleaning. Rodrigo was very accommodating with the time and his prices are very competitive. Rodrigo and his wife cleaned both my bathrooms and deep cleaned the kitchen. The kitchen was in dire need of a good scrub down, as it hasn't had a deep clean in about 5 years. They did an amazing job on cleaning everything and worked extremely hard to make sure all the spots I wanted was scrubbed down. Even after the final check, they made sure I had everything meet my expectations. They cleaned off a good couple of years of grease on the stove, as well as corrosion on my shower doors. I would definitely hire them again for a deep cleaning in the future. read more

Excellent deep clean done by Rodrigo and his team! Looks better than when I moved in.

Roy and his team have been cleaning my home for a few years now. They are excellent at their jobs. They are by far the best cleaning service I have ever had. When I have guests over they remark on how clean the home is even weeks after Roy and his team have come by. read more

Great communication throughout the process. Rodrigo texted me day-of to say they would be a few mins late because of traffic. (They weren't late.) He, Carrmen & Lalo went to work immediately. I skipped out for three hours. Didn't recognize the place when I came back! It was cleaner than when I moved in 18 years ago. Hadn't asked to have my tiny, closet laundry room cleaned (only because it didn't occur to me). It was. I thought my bathroom sink could NEVER be white again Now it's sparkling white. Best thing for me was they were wearing shoe covers & Rodrigo handed me a pair before I walked in to check it out - also wouldn't have occured to me. My poor guests are going to hate me now 'cuz I'm getting a boxful! Going to make it a monthly gig. I am so so pleased!!! read more

Rodrigo and his crew do an excellent job! 10/10! We have been using him for almost two years now, they have been reliable, efficient, flexible and respectful. I honestly can't say enough nice things about them, we have gotten to know them and I really can't imagine using anyone else. Even if we do a really good job keeping up the (we work from home, Lawyer and tech bro), it's amazing how much cleaner the house is and how fresh it feels, like checking into a five star hotel at the start of a vacation! I literally have nothing to complain about and can not even think of a criticism for them. You will not be disappointed if you have them clean your home, I guarantee you. read more

***NOTE: I did not use their services, so this review is not pertinent to their services*** I texted to inquire about the cost of an initial clean and a regular (monthly) cleaning. I was told the initial would be $120/hour for 3 people to come in, and then they would provide a flat monthly rate. I was providing pertinent information like sqft, last professional clean, # of bedrooms and bathrooms, etc. He said it's based on how long it takes them to finish. I was hoping to just get an estimated cost or alternatively requested he come to provide an in-person estimate based on size/condition, which is what all of the cleaning companies I've worked with have done in the past.. He said they just come and do the work. I asked if there's any estimate he could possibly give and the response? 3-5 hours at $120/hour, which means $360-600 was the "estimate" for the initial cleaning. He declined to do an on-site estimate. The problem wasn't the price, it was really the lack of price. With that said, $360-600 estimate is a huge range. Who agrees to have cleaners come with a virtual open ended price/ without a quote or set price?? He was generally polite in our interaction, but I still couldn't fathom how anyone agrees to let people come over and do a cleaning without knowing what it might cost them.. read more

I would say these cleaners are a rip off. I asked them to clean our apartment in November 2020, and at that time they charge $110/hour for deep clean for 2 cleaners. I said yes, because I was determined to have our place cleaned. They told me that the cleaning would take 3-5 hours for a first-time deep cleaning. They arrived 20 minutes late. It was Veronica and a very old, slow-moving lady. Veronica started to clean the bathroom while the other cleaned the bedroom. It took them 2.5 hours with our upstairs and they purposely work so slow, because it was Veronica who did all the cleaning; the other was simply someone to show that "2 people" are cleaning, but the other one isn't really helpful. They did not clean all the exhaust fan upstairs, and left one still super dusty (I found this after they left). Our bedroom was not really dirty, and I did stay upstairs to supervise them but only for the first 30 minutes, but the rest I had to go down for a meeting. Veronica was on the phone all the time, esp when I check up on them, which I think contributes to the slow cleaning. I had to rush them to tell them it's their time to clean downstairs, and by that time, they said they have to leave at 1pm (in 30 minutes) for another appointment at another house. They also forgot to bring cleaning extensions to clean hard to reach areas, when in prior communications with Rodrigo I asked him for a ladder because I want top of our loft windows and light fixtures cleaned. Because they did not have the extensions, our light fixtures and windows were left dirty. They cleaned half of our living room and downstairs bathroom for 30minutes! If they can do that fast, why would they stay upstairs in one bathroom for 2 hours?! They were such in a rush to leave that they left the kitchen all dirty, with all the dust from the living room exhaust. They downstairs toilet bowl was all yellow, and I had to clean up after them because they left in such a hurry. All this for $350+ tip! They offered to come back to finish the job, but never did. Such a disappointment. read more

3 cleaners came to my home and did an initial house cleaning. It didn't take them very long since I keep things pretty tidy on my own, but they did all kinds of cleaning that I cannot do like cleaning light fixtures on the tall ceiling, the bathroom vent (I saw him take it apart, clean it, and replace the vent), and scrubbed my little toaster oven that had a lot of stuff on its walls that don't come off with a simple wash. The best was the mopping because I have personal reasons that make mopping a 1-2 hour job for me. They were all very friendly and worked quickly. I would love to hire them on a quarterly basis and maybe some appointments here and there to give my place a nice cleaning after I have company stay over. read more

Update 10/27/2021 We have clarified that pushbroom was not taken by them and two cloth mops were from previous tenant. Also, they came over again to clean tile grout in kitchen without no charge. I've never hired professional cleaners in the past, but when our former roommate moved out and failed to clean his hideously disgusting bathroom (also home to his cat's litter-box), I knew it was time! Rodrigo's response time was quick, service was excellent, and price was fair. Him and his wife deep cleaned the bathroom and also got the bedroom move-in ready (walls, baseboards, etc). It sparkled when they were done. I'm grateful for their help in getting the space clean and ready for someone new (hopefully someone who's heard of a Chlorox wipe. Lol) read more

A complete ripoff. Insists that an initial cleaning for a BRAND NEW 1 bedroom apartment would take 3 full-time people at least 3 hours. Didn't ask: (1) how big apartment was, (2) how many people live there, or any other factors that would allow them to have a fair estimate. Just like to rip people off on a first cleaning. And then they write rude emails on top of it. read more

Rodrigo and the team are absolutely incredible! We've been using their service monthly for the past year or so and I look forward to it every time! They are always on time, flexible, and respectful, and consistently leave our place spotless and sparkling. They don't judge, no matter how embarrassingly disgusting you've let your house become.

I used them for deep cleaning and there were 4 people cleaning the place though I was promised only 3. They did ab excellent job with the bathroom and kitchen. Would definitely recommend for the good job they did even if their price is slightly higher than other places. One other thing to note was that no one during any point of time were on the phone during the cleaning process which was one of my bad experience with other place where they were always on the phone rather than concentrate on the cleaning. read more

Hired this company to do a move out cleaning that my husband and I were just too busy to do properly. Truthfully, life has been too busy to keep up with major housework for a while and spending hours cleaning a place we were leaving was on the top of my "sucky things about moving" list. While researching cleaners and calling around to various companies, Tip Top kept coming to the top of the list, not for economical reasons but for quality/satisfaction with job performance, so I decided to give them a try. Tip Top achieved in just a few hours what would have taken us all day and then some to do. They did a bang up job on the bathroom shower that I thought would never get clean and when I noticed some gunk on the ceiling, Rodrigo said not to worry he would have someone come in an do the ceiling. Mind you, we did not originally ask them to do the ceilings so that was not on them and they could have declined to do it. We were very pleased with the attention to detail and their commitment to customer satisfaction. On two separate occasions we didn't hesitate to recommend Tip Top to our friends, and each person was very happy with the service they provided, thanking us for the recommendation. At $120 an hour, it was not a cheap job, but the quality of the work and the time/headaches they saved us was totally worth the price. If you are looking for a budget cleaner Tip Top may not be for you, especially since as someone else referred to, their est. can be a pretty large $$ range, but if you are looking for quality cleaning, with attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Tip Top is the company to call. read more

Tip Top House Cleaning Services did an excellent job cleaning our home! We had used Task Rabbit a few times over the years to clean our two bathrooms and kitchen and they always were clean, but not usually more than we'd do ourselves. With Tip Top, we were really impressed with every little corner getting cleaned! We arranged for a deep/initial cleaning which is charged hourly ($129/hr) for a team of 3 cleaners. After that, they offer recurring services for a flat rate. The communication was great setting up our cleaning and I appreciated knowing what to expect. On the day of our service, the team worked efficiently and cleaned every surface, light fixture, baseboard, set of blinds, and appliance in our home. We kept walking around afterwards saying things like, "Oh wow, they even cleaned every part of the exercise bike!" We have already arranged our next appointment! read more

I am very pleased and happy with Rodrigo and his team, Carmen and Lolo. They were communicative, responsive, friendly and explained how they worked in an honest and clear way to me. Even the vents and every window panel has been cleaned and all our cat furniture thoroughly vacuumed. My house feels like we just moved in. read more

***Note: I did not use their service because they refused at the last minute but this is how the situation unfolded*** I read this company's reviews and figured that I had a winner. I submitted a quote request and was contacted by their representative (Rodrigo) via Yelp email 1 or 2 days after I submitted the request. I was advised that the job would be based on how long they would take so he was non-comital as to price, other than their hourly rate. Again, based on their prior reviews, I decided to move ahead and advised Rodrigo that I wanted to have them clean our rental in S.J. These arrangements were made approximately 6 weeks in advance of the cleaning date so I figured that I was set. As the date of the cleaning was approaching, I reached out to Rodrigo approximately 3 or 4 times in an effort to confirm the cleaning date via Yelp email...in vain. When he finally got back to me, it turns out that there was confusion on my part regarding the cleaning date: I thought that it was on 28th and he corrected me by reminding me that it was on the 21st. Regardless, the confusion was cleared up in time to have him schedule a cleaning, which Rodrigo refused to schedule. When I mentioned that I would share my experience on Yelp, he said and I quote: " Yelp offers you over 500 home cleaning services, why waste your time writing a review for a service you are not getting? It's up to you..." Frankly, I was floored with his final email. And now, as a direct result of his lack of communication and last minute cancelation, I'm rushing around trying to find someone that is, in fact, good on their word. I can only wonder how in God's name he got such good reviews...he must have many family and friends that know how to write them because my experience suggests that this guy is a flake in every sense of the word! As a business owner myself, I take these reviews very seriously but I can't imagine treating any of my (potential) clients in this fashion in the 26 years that I have been in business...unbelievable! read more
