I was pleasantly surprised to have a service provider actually do what they promised! I was on Yelp last night (midnight) looking for a repair store that could replace the battery in our MacBook Pro - Retina (2012). Why is it important to tell you the model? Because it's probably the most difficult battery replacement for any MacBook Pro. I sent a message to one of the recommended providers. The Yelp system said they would also send it to a couple others. Thank goodness they did because the one I chose did not respond. The other (Instafix) responded within 10 minutes...this was after midnight!!! After a few message exchanges last night, I went to the conveniently located store in Foothill Ranch the next morning (today) and within a couple hours YZ had our computer up and running better than when we brought it in. Price was extremely reasonable. The store was very clean and YZ had a great attitude. I now have a "go to" computer store I can count on...and more importantly...can trust to take care of our computer needs. Thanks InstaFix!! read more

My wife accidentally left her iPhone in the washer for several minutes before realizing it was in there. We dropped it in rice but the next morning, the phone would not turn on! We searched on Yelp for a local phone repair shop with good reviews and off I was to Instafix. I'm a hard critic when it comes to electronics and Instafix is second to none. YZ, the general manager, was informative, thorough, and professional all throughout the process. YZ and his team took the phone apart, "dried" it with their equipment, and got the phone working again! They had the phone for a few hours and I was just blown away at how quick the turnaround was but of course, our situation was unique. My phone had severe water damage and stopped working. I took it to Apple Store and they told me they would not touch it because they were sure that it was impossible to fix it. I took it to T-Mobile and got the same response. I pretty much gave up until wanted to give one last chance. This place is amazing! My phone works very well and I haven't had any issues. They fixed my phone very fast and are a reliable place to go. Another great thing about them is that they are open later than a lot of other places. By the time 5pm rolled around, other fix-it-phone companies were closed. I took my iPhone 12 Max in to get my cracked screen repaired and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Later that day I had noticed that one of my microphones on my phone was sounding muffled. So I took it in the following day where YZ was able to help me figure out what could have possibly happened. It was a strange situation where my phone was using a different microphone then the one it should be using and he let me drop off my phone with him while I went back to work.
