Incredibly friendly service, reasonable pricing (only $31), and I love that I don't have to make an appointment and then wait for my car for two hours like at Midas. They top off all your fluids, and alert you to any issues they spot. The man who did my paperwork and payment was super nice, and explained everything efficiently and with a smile. First impression is this is a respectable shop. Check engine light came on and I wasn't able to get into the shop that day to have it checked. By the time I was able to swing by, the light turned off. (Go figure.) The owner told me he did not want to take my money to run a diagnostic because it wouldn't tell him anything. I asked about getting another service done to maybe help the problem. Again, he said don't waste your money we will figure out what services you need if the light turns back on. One thing I knew I needed was an oil change. That he allowed me to do :) I was in and out in less than ten minutes. I will definitely be back for another oil change. My girlfriend asked me to get an oilchange for her, I usually do it my own for my 350z but for her camry I was willing to pay someone. I looked on yelped and found this place. All I can say is that I am very happy all in all. Awesome customer service and honestly for pricing I'm really not sure haha as I do it my own usually. The whole oil changing only took 5 mins maybe a few more but definitely no more than 10 mins. That's really fast in my honest opinion. The people here are really honest and didn't wana sell you on anything. They checked everything and said all was good. This owner looks at what type of car and decide the price to charge you. There is no sign posted for oil change price labor. I always bring my synthetic oil & OEM filter, Today he charged me almost double for the oil change labor for my wife car, I asked why you charged double when i just did oil change for my F150 and Honda Accord, he said because its a Mercedes so the labor cost is double due to the difficulty of removing oil filter. He is so WRONG to think people don't know that german car filter actually easier to remove & replace because oil filter housing on the top while Honda or Toyota filters are more dangerous to remove and replace due to the "hidden location" and "the Heat" from the engine. I hope he should learn himself or check with the man who removes the filter before BS-ing customers. He also did not know his son and his mechanic have been charged me consistently for to do oil change labor for my 2003 BMW 330i which is also german car. Sorry, you just BS to the wrong guy. His price was ok when he was in San Lorenzo location next to Walmart but he recently changed his way of charging mainly because he tried to charge customers by looking at their vehicles to cover the employees wages for the repair shop in the back which barely has any customers... Hey, hey this is not how you do business, this is not customer fault, he chose to invest and expand to different area that he is not specialized, please be consistent or post your labor rate instead of telling every customer their price to pay EVERY SINGLE TIME. Long story short, this man needs to post his price as honest business. Until then, as a customer, be sure to ask for the price before doing oil change here, if you have kids on the car like me or want oil change at lunch break, you should not come here or prepare to pay his price when you are already there and upset yourself after. Found this place on Yelp because I didn't want to go to Jiffy Lube and get ripped off again. They gave me a great price for my synthetic oil change and they did it in less than 10 minutes. Make sure to ask for Chris. This is a great place to go if you live in the Hayward/Castro Valley area and don't want to pay $85+ for an oil change. It's been about 4 months later and I went a second time. Went for a full synthetic oil change and they showed me that my filter was really dirty, so they changed my oil and replaced the filter for less money than what Jiffy Lube would charge me for just an oil change. read more

I LOVE these guys! THEIR PRICE & SERVICE ARE UNBEATABLE! Believe me - I drive a Northstar engine Cadillac, I know a little about prices. About a month or 2 ago I needed a MAJOR tune up. I mean major! He said he could not do a regular tune up because I had a spark plug that was misfiring (which I already knew) & the car wouldn't run right with basic & that is not the way he runs his business - very respectable!! The first ppl didn't seem too interested in fixing THAT. I didn't know that it would cost so much to repair. I shopped around & these guys came in about $100 LESS than my lowest quote. On top of that, they were able to do 2 payments over a month so I wouldn't have to go broke just to get the problem fixed. Beat that! I went back today for an oil change. They're serious when they say 10 mins! Since I have a big Northstar engine, it takes 8 qts of oil, as opposed to 5. (I know!) I had got my 1st oil change from Pep Boys, which costed me about $46 for regular oil. Synthetic blend was like $65 or so! What?? Insta Lube got the job done for, normally $45 for synthetic blend. Of course it's cheaper if you have a 5qt engine. Highly recommend to any & every one! read more

I used to love coming here to get my oil change. Fast, friendly, affordable service. They have recently hired some new younger kids that have no idea what they are doing. I went in for an oil change on a Friday and the younger kids under my car took longer than normal. The people from under my car and next to my hood started whispering for a minute then the owner came over and told me they replaced some thread that needed to be changed. The next day my oil started leaking. Had a mechanic look at it and my oil pan was completely stripped. So the dudes who "replaced a thread" actually jacked up my oil pan and didn't say anything. The most pleasant oil change I've ever experienced. I called ahead to ask about price and it was reasonable at $85 for synthetic oil change. When I got there it was actually $65! I was pleasantly surprised! The customer service is super excellent, they are really nice and the main guy explains additional things to pay attention to in future, like what kind of oil your car needs, and they also check the tires for free upon request. He even gave me some lollipops! I was there for 5 minutes tops! I got to chill in my car while they quickly did everything. I will be coming here again for future oil changes!! read more

I liked how i got to sit in the car and let them do the work, they were pretty quick they checked all the fluids, tire pressure and washed the windows. Also it was good service which i thought when they made sure you seen the dipstick and how much oil was on it so you can verify it they also did the same thing with the air filter. To me this was suprising and very cool, I did like this place and will continue to go until i can move out of my apartment complex and do my own oil changes. Oh also they top off your oil at any of there locations if you happen to get low within 3000 miles, can be useful if u have a slow leak. read more

40 something bucks for a 4 liter engine synthetic oil change- they got a new regular. Service was fast and courteous, got in and out in under 15 minutes. They even changed my air filter and windshield wipers at a good price. So close to my house too woot! They're vietnamese, and I just loved the way their accents sounded because it gave me that sense of familiar nostalgia and family community. The way he kept calling me sir, trippy for me because in Viet culture it's the other way around, the older folks gets all the courtesy and respect, but by him calling me sir I guess it shows a good balance of culture fusion. They kept speaking in Viet, not thinking I speak and understand it too probably because of my age and the way I look. (I often get Filipino and Mexican more than any other ethnic race) If you're wondering whether or not they're speaking in another language to cover up shady business, they're not, it's all small talk and because it's their first languages. I pretended not to understand a word like I always do. They even laughed at my ninja bobble heads and commented in vietnamese, that was pretty funny. Give this place a try, you'll like it. And no, it's not because I am Vietnamese, on the contrary, I normally don't like Vietnamese businesses and have rated them as so. read more

If I could give it a one star rating I would. I just called in regards to an oil change for my car, I had questions and the owner told me "sir I have been doing this for 40 years, Bye!" And just like that he just hung up! Didn't answer any of my questions, became super defensive when I asked if the items used for my car would be OEM, and that's when he just tried to act all high and mighty by telling me how long he has been doing the changes for, and then hung up. What's worse is that I thought it was an accident on his end and tried calling back 3 times and I was sent straight to voicemail but once I called from a different phone he picked up immediately. Just disgusting and trash customer service skills and terrible piss poor communication skills, I would give this place a -0 if I could, didn't even get to make an appointment the phone consultant was so terrible. They shouldn't hire incompetent people to handle the phone or have a mature conversation without taking a pin up their ass never coming here again, I suggest you all do the same read more

Liked these guys alot until I found a pair of their gloves they used to change the oil on my car with hanging down from the under carriage one day. How lame is that, I remember feeling some weird thumping under the car by the drivers door. A month or so later, I see a pair of plastic disposable gloves shoved up in one of the supports of my car with one hanging down "waving" at me. It never really felt like they were using high grade oil in my car either, but thats just speculation. Disappointed, they were a great alternative to Jiffy Lube until that experience. This is my favorite place to come for regular maintenance on my car. They're the friendliest workers I've ever encountered. And they're consistently friendly. And they work hard. And they will sometimes hand you donuts. And lollipops, while you wait. It's an amazing thing to walk into an establishment and be truly taken care of. They really do have you out in 10 minutes for an oil change. They didn't bs me when they saw I'm *almost* due for a new air filter. They saw I bought headlights and offered to replace them for me. Been coming here for years even when they were located on Hesperian by the old Target, mostly because I'm too lazy to do it myself. The exercise of trying to transport and dispose of dirty oil is too trying. Average price, but quick turnaround here by the friendly staff, usually done in about 10-15 mins. My bill generally runs about $70 for 6 quarts of Mobile1 5w30 and I bring my own filter to install (only because they usually have a hard time trying to figure out what truck I have and I don't want the wrong one going on). They also carry Red Line, but no Royal Purple last time I checked. read more

Found this place by searching Yelp and once again Yelpers were correct! I pulled in for an oil change and someone came to assist me right away. All I had to do was pull my car into the stall and wait 15 min (yes, 15 min!). Didn't even have to get out of my car! Yay for drive-thru oil changes!!! I called them for a quote on an oil change for my VW gti 2017 and the lady told me $37 or $47 depending on whether the car needs synthetic oil. When I arrived half an hour later, the worker took one look at my car and said $97. I double checked with him to make sure I was hearing him right. He said VW is expensive. I had mentioned my car make & model on the phone.... The other places I had called had better prices. I felt tricked to say the least. read more
