My memorial tattoo.
Bonz M.

I had my first ever tattoo done by Justine, I was both excited and nervous but Justine has been really amazing. She met me prior to the actual tattoo session and asked about the design I wanted and what to expect. I loved every bit of my memorial tattoo, it might be simple but it meant a lot to me.

Gratitude tattoo by Mark Novak
Hannah B.

Mark Novak is a beast! Such a skilled artist! I went in with a million ideas and he created it into an epic forearm tattoo. The work is clean. The shop is clean. It's small but the other artists are very nice. It was a great tattoo experience. I appreciated that all the artists were nice and welcoming which is usually hit or miss in tattoo shops

GO. TO. MARK. I've been wanting a cover up of an alien tattoo behind my ear and Mark was the one that took care it when I went to visit. He and all of the artists were friendly, talkative, and very informative of the cover up I was wanting to do. Basically Mark was the best option for me when it came to this cover up, he was basically like, "let me drive the boat" and did the cover up perfectly! Even offered to touch it up in a few months if it looked faded or dingy. Highly recommend mark! The cover up I got was a rose and the outcome was great!

I had my first tattoo done by Savana at Inspire Ink, and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

While searching for a different business, I stumbled upon Modifications Tattoo & Body Piercing. The…read morestudio is clean, inviting, and features standout décor along with an impressive selection of piercing jewelry (largest collection I have ever seen). Although I'm not interested in getting a tattoo myself (intense fear of needles), I was impressed by the professionalism, creativity, and client-focused approach of the staff. The artists and piercers are knowledgeable, clearly explain procedures and aftercare, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Staff were courteous and provided thorough information, including a $60 quote for a small tattoo. Overall, customer service here is excellent, making it a highly recommended studio.

The environment is clean and welcoming and during the piercing process they are communicative, and I love that when you lay back theres cat pictures taped to the ceiling to comfort you through the pain. For the quality of the service, their prices are very reasonable and they have many many jewelry options and are happy to recommend other options that will work for you if they arent carrying something specific youre looking for. Unfortunately, I have had a negative expirience with one of the piercers. Pineapple, Jade, and Mercedes have all pierced me at different points. Around 3 years ago Mercedes pierced my verticle labret, and it turned out beautiful. Unfortunately I had to take it out because of a surgery after a few months, and once I recovered and wanted to get it repierced I went back. This time Travis pierced it, and I did not agree with his personality very much, as I felt he made some kind of targeted comments at my preferred jewelry and piercing placement, and he also was a little rude when we were having a conversation regarding the circumstances of my surgery. Since there was a scar showing the placement of my previous piercing, I trusted the results would be similiar, but after seeing the markings and thinking they looked good, the piercing happened and it felt a little off. Originally he tried to give me a piece of jewelry for the healing that was comically oversized, and when I said that I would like a smaller size, he acted as if it was a silly request. But truly, my lip was not going to swell to double its normal size because of a repiercing. I signed a form, got the smaller jewelry, and figured I would downsize when it was appropriate and hopefully I wouldnt feel like the placement was weird, but after the piercing had healed and I went to get it downsized, he revealed that no jewelry would fit the way I wanted because there werent any small enough piercings unless I had one custom made. I couldnt afford that so I just accepted it, until this year when I started disliking it so much I decided id rather not have the piercing than have the weirdly placed one, so I took it out. I know the difference might look kind of minimal, but it really drove me crazy to feel the piercing wiggling around so much, and not be able to afford jewelry I would like because it was not within standard sizes. For a while I blamed my anatomy, but a few weeks ago I realized maybe my lips arent weirdly shaped and my prefered placement should be possible, so I got it repierced elsewhere. Now that it is healed (or at least no longer swollen), I can confidently say that Travis messed up with the piercing placement, and acted quite unprofessionally in my opinion. I am comfortably wearing a size piercing that I think is third from the smallest standard size, and it fits exactly how I want. I will attach a photo with a comparison of the piercing i got from travis and my current piercing. (in the top pictures I am wearing a 16g, 1/4 inch piercing, and in the bottom pictures I am wearing a 16g, 3/8 inch piercing.) I cannot recommend the other piercers enough, and I hope to return here for many future jobs, but I would like to recognize this expirience in my review because it was an upsetting expirience that cost me time and money.

BABIES get their ears pierced! He's 15 and BOTH of his parents were with him! Like seriously, WHAT? Anyway, now I was on a mission so we ended up with the tried and true - the Piercing Pagoda kiosk in the mall, which is where I got mine done when I was 8, and all of my friends got theirs done, and basically everyone else, too. Marilyn (I think that was her name?) was absolutely wonderful. Zero pressure (because by this time the kid was nervous as hell), but super knowledgeable and very calming. She gave us all the information, showed him the earring options (all 14 ct gold, all high quality studs), then gave us our space so he could think it over. We took a lap around the mall and came back a few minutes later. Marilyn was genuinely excited for him and without any wait at all, he was in the chair. She and her coworker did his ears at the same time, it was unbelievably fast and easy, and his relief was palpable. These two ladies could not have been sweeter, and they even gave him a lollipop when he was done! I'm quite sure we spent at least $100 less than we would have at the other place, and the experience was at least 100 times better than it would have been there. Highly recommend! Five stars! Don't waste your time at the fancy place - sometimes the classics really are the best.

I had to purchase their only jewelry offereing, which was expensive - $45 - and I was fine to pay for high quality materials. When wanting to purchase, I was told to wait so the piercer could replace it. The piercer spoke only of who did it, why the metal was junk and why it was that length. I took his recommendation for replacement. He it was brusque and slightly disgusted. Upon checkout, I was charged a piercing fee as well as jewelry. Over 100 bucks when I just needed a replacement ball. Fast forward a few months - the expensive piece fell out and I wanted to replace it with the same high quality materials. I went against my instincts and went back to support local business and artists. I was "informed" that they would have to order it as they do not recommend that piercing at all. I was told of the dangers of migration and tearing - and again heard an opinion about another studio and how bad an idea that piercing is.
