Disappointing... two weeks ago I'd gone in to buy a $200 gift card for my husband to buy some…read moreboots. We came in yesterday to pick some out and after 35 minutes off him (picky as he is) looking at the wall, a young worker comes over and recommends he goes to a different store called Gringos, then says "my name is Conner by the way." (I think that was his name.) Obviously, with our gift card that wasn't the choice for us. So, he picked out a pair of black Tony Lamas and brought them to the counter. We waited for the people at the counter to stop eating their hot chips and taking all their sodas out their gas station bags for them to actually talk to us. My husband asked they had them in any other color. The guy said no. Then showed him the only other pair or Lamas in his size and said "this is all we got." The icing on the cake: My husband decides to get the black boots anyway because they were the closest in price to the $200 we had in-store. The guy at the counter wouldn't check us out until he was done talking to his co-worker about how disappointing his hot chips are. Doesn't dry off/clean off his hands from the food, THEN approaches us and touches his shoes. He ends up, realizing that the boots have been mistagged. We ask him to honor the tag on the boot, because for us $50 difference is a big deal, and these are the only Tony Lamas within $100 of our price range. He says no. We go back to the shelf to look some more when we hear the boys and the lady with colorful locs laughing about us. Overall... terrible workers. Sad that there was no help on the mis-tag, which was a genuine tag by all similarities except for the color, so how would we have known? They only noticed because we asked if they had any other colors. Bummer! Won't be returning to Boot Barn... not that they would care!

Located in a very safe part of town, in a very easy to access location right off of 135th St, Kohls…read moreis there to service almost all of your clothing needs, along with other offerings that one might need for the house. Walking in the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The place is logically laid out so finding what you need should be a breeze as apposed to other places I've been. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

I'm so absolutely done with this organization and their magic money. Here is a reward for buying from our store if you need to exchange the item we will deduct that reward so you have to pay MORE than you paid the first time. DONE with the games I would rather pay more for the item the first time and have a straightforward policy than this funny money BS. Maybe try hiring a customer service employee that isn't afraid of the public. Ridiculousness really

Though this beloved chain has been around for decades, I do feel the opening of this location was a miss. Here is why: Location: 2/10 Located near 119th and Blackbob, this store shares a busy parking lot near Target and OfficeMax. The majority of the traffic that silos through this parking lot is for Target, which is almost always crowded. Because of this, I was not a fan. Ideally, it is the perfect location but you will fight crowds and traffic. We had deep into the parking lot for a spot. Inventory: 6/10 I was pretty underwhelmed with their selection. They had a great selection of candles and home decor, and the clothing was just okay. Thankfully, I was able to find what I needed. I am sad nothing excited me and the prices were decent and depended on what you were buying. Their toy section looked like they got a lot of their inventory from a garage sale. :-/ Locked Up: ?/10 The baskets automatically lock and freeze when you get close to the doors. This also causes the security alarms to activate. This happened often and I imagine it's because customers did not want to carry their bags out to the car. The baskets do this to prevent theft and the idea is great. However, it made it easy for someone to walk right out of the store with free merchandise because the employees manning the doors were too busy explaining the cart system to customers. LOL Customer Service: 7/10 Diversity among the staff was decent but I was not impressed with the service from the employees. The person checking us out looked like she wanted to be anywhere but at the store. I guess I cannot blame her because the line was long but moving quickly. She could take some pointers from the person next to her, who was engaging with customers and joking around with them. She did a great job of removing the security tags from the clothing and double wrapping the candles. Overall: 6/10 I can take it or leave it and I much prefer Home Goods or Target on home decor items. The mall location was run down and well past its prime, so the new location is nice, clean, and perfectly situated in a busy strip mall. Though I am glad they added this store to the already busy location, I wish their product inventory at least matched their neighbors Kirkland's and Target. Sometimes cheaper is not always better and you are better off getting a great coat or jacket here.
