Disappointing... two weeks ago I'd gone in to buy a $200 gift card for my husband to buy some boots. We came in yesterday to pick some out and after 35 minutes off him (picky as he is) looking at the wall, a young worker comes over and recommends he goes to a different store called Gringos, then says "my name is Conner by the way." (I think that was his name.) Obviously, with our gift card that wasn't the choice for us. So, he picked out a pair of black Tony Lamas and brought them to the counter. We waited for the people at the counter to stop eating their hot chips and taking all their sodas out their gas station bags for them to actually talk to us. My husband asked they had them in any other color. The guy said no. Then showed him the only other pair or Lamas in his size and said "this is all we got." The icing on the cake: My husband decides to get the black boots anyway because they were the closest in price to the $200 we had in-store. The guy at the counter wouldn't check us out until he was done talking to his co-worker about how disappointing his hot chips are. Doesn't dry off/clean off his hands from the food, THEN approaches us and touches his shoes. He ends up, realizing that the boots have been mistagged. We ask him to honor the tag on the boot, because for us $50 difference is a big deal, and these are the only Tony Lamas within $100 of our price range. He says no. We go back to the shelf to look some more when we hear the boys and the lady with colorful locs laughing about us. Overall... terrible workers. Sad that there was no help on the mis-tag, which was a genuine tag by all similarities except for the color, so how would we have known? They only noticed because we asked if they had any other colors. Bummer! Won't be returning to Boot Barn... not that they would care! read more

Olathe, Kansas store Poor customer service from only one person at this location..."Tami". Everyone else was very helpful. Had a pair of boots transferred to this Olathe, KS store. The boots arrived stained & damaged. I paid for the boots in full. The salesperson cleaned one of the stains while I was still in the store using Boot Barn All Purpose Leather Cleaner however, the cleaner took off the stain AND THE DYE ON THE BOOT, leaving a huge white patch on a mustard yellow pair of boots! The store manager (Tami) was very apathetic & said my ONLY options are to return the boots, or find another pair. 1) She did not attempt to help me find a replacement. 2) She did not offer any discount that would FULLY offset the cost of repair. 3)She never apologized for the store brand product causing permanent damage. Instead, she told me that it's NOT the stores fault that their product took of the color of the boot. Boot Barn has a "We Have It Promise" where the store (i.e., Tami) can use their "WHIP - RangeFinder" to find the replacement pair. Tami never made any such effort. Instead, she was short tempered & rudely offered a measly 15% discount, which will not cover the repair costs...and when I let her know that she should've called other stores or at least HELP me find another pair of boots, she hung up in my face. Compared to the other Boot Barn locations, this store manager's customer service makes it not worth visiting. Because of Tami, I won't be doing business with this store....EVER! read more

We have been clients at this place the one in 119 st Overland Park for a while , but I will definitely not coming back , my family and I went there to make some purchases around 8:30 pm , it happened that it was time to close at 9:00pm, when we went to the register, Manager , an assistant and some other person that was there were so impatient and rude , we saw their mean looks, they were very unprofessional and the lady even rolled her eyes on us , too bad they lost good clients , and for the lady that rolled her eyes on my family and myself she can go and find other job , you are giving Boot Barn a bad name read more

The staff is all over the place. Yet none of them greet you when you walk in. If you need help finding the bott you want, good luck. Me and two other individuals in the store was needing assistance and no one volunteered to help. When the older gentleman asked for help he was told that they would get to him in a few minutes. He waited for 10 minutes. I never did get help and just left. I need work boots. But not bad enough to wait for 30 minutes with no assistance. I have never been a huge fan of boot barn as it is very overpriced. I can find the same boots on Amazon for much less money. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable but I rarely purchase anything when I go in due to the high prices. read more

All workers were so rude. We waited for 25-30 minutes before finally deciding to leave because no one would help us. When we initially came through the door not a single "hello" or anything. Which is fine, especially if it's a busy day but let me mention that the workers were friendly and said hello to everyone else. Anyways, we went straight to the hats where an associate was helping a couple. We were waiting our turn, even though there were 2-3 workers at the registers just waiting around and talking. My fiancé turned around for a minute to look at something as we waited. When he turned back around, the same associate who knew we were waiting for help was assisting another set of people. What I'm assuming who was the manager since he was wearing more professional clothing was helping other people too. At many times, he seen us waiting and asking for help. Not sure if it's because we looked a certain way or what it was but definitely never going back there. Definitely will rather make the drive to Cavenders or Nigros! read more

Manger is very rude. 1-When I asked her about what they were hiring for. She got angry and stated she was fully staffed. I told her that I was sorry and the only reason that Ibasked is because they had a sign. I then asked her, cause she was rude, if they are not hiring then why have a "now hiring" sign on the front door?! 2- My friend had found a shirt that she liked and it had a sales sign right in front of it. Manger didn't know that we were together. When my friend went to pay for it, it was fill price. My friend said there was a sale sign in front and showed the manger. Manger got rude with her and wouldn't honor the sign. Signs get forgotten about, totally get it. But since the manger was so rude and but disrespectful to me, my friend, and a few others, I will no longer step foot in the store after I return a few items that I got 2 weeks ago. read more

Bootbarn is great! First off, the boot selection. This store has a huge variety of boot brands and colors! You can find anything from a pointy toe to a square toe! ThEy have y'all boots they have short boots! They've got great work boots and boots for the rodeo! The clothes are cute and go on sale frequently! The only two comments for improvement is that the earrings are so-so quality (backs are loose) and their sales seem great but are very small. Do not order from Bootbarn. I placed an order 4 weeks ago, after my 3rd call, CS tried telling my payment was denied, too bad I had a statement to prove that I was charged for the order the day I placed it. The 2nd call I was promised next day delivery and I would have my order by Christmas. The failed in every way. I usually have a lot of patience, but when you lie to cover your own tracks, I lose my cool. The manager refused to return my call after multiple calls to her(Paris) personally, Find your Western Wear other places. First and only time I will attempt to order from Boot barn.
