This was our second stop while doing wedding dress shopping for my little sister and I was blown away by the ambiance and overall experience provided at this neighborhood Bridal boutique. The first thing you'll notice when you come in is that you're treated like a VIP. I'm not sure if they ever do multiple fittings at the same time, but when we were there it was just us and the private experience was really nice. The stylist working was SO kind and helpful, and they give you complimentary champagne. What's not to like? While my sister ended up up choosing another boutique's dress in the end, this one had beautiful gowns, an A+ staff, and a relaxed environment. I can be a very indecisive and picky person, and not only was my 4th try-on my dream dress, but this was my first and only location trying on wedding dresses. I not only found *the* dress here, but beyond that, this was my best KC dress shopping experience by far. Here's why. Raegan and the team here went above and beyond BEFORE my appointment so that by the time I walked in, she'd not only viewed my Pinterest board / inspo pics AND called me to talk through all the details of my vision over the phone, but also had *all* my dresses pre-selected, waiting for me by my dressing room by the time I arrived. This meant that there was no wasted time -- which was something I experienced at quite a few other places. Other places didn't call ahead or do their research, so I was left spending half of my appointment explaining what I wanted and watching them run around to look for new dresses and drop off old ones. When places do this, it doesn't make you feel special or considered -- for an event that is arguably one of the most important times to feel special and considered in one's life. And where you're about to drop a LOT OF MONEY!!! But Fabulous Frocks? They made me feel special and considered. In addition, Raegan made me feel so at home from the jump, chatting up my whole crew and I, laughing about silly things, helping me get into and out of each dress while also stepping out and giving me my privacy whenever I was fully unclothed, and made accommodations for my bridal party to come by before we said the final "yes" to the dress. How many times can I be told I look like a princess before it goes to my head? I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses and finally finding the one! I had such an amazing experience at Fabulous Frocks. This was my first time shopping for my wedding dress and I know I couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else. I had inquired online for an appointment and that next morning I received a call back from Angela regarding setting up an appointment. It was so much more than that though. She wanted all the details and what I envisioned on my wedding day. It really felt like she cared and I wasn't just another sale. Once we got closer to my appointment, the girls reached out to me on Instagram and sent me pictures of different types of dresses so they could get a better of idea of what I was looking for. I feel like this really helped during my appointment. Paityn and Angela were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked into the store. I unfortunately had to go dress shopping during a pandemic and had to wear a mask but the Frock Girls made it so comfortable and effortless that I almost forgot I had it on. They made sure that when I narrowed it down to a couple dresses that I would be able to see my dress in the natural light and without a face mask on. Not once during my whole appointment did Paityn make me feel rushed into picking a dress. She made sure the whole time that I knew this was MY day and this is MY dress so I needed to be the one in love with it. My consultant, Addie, called me prior to the appointment and took notes regarding the vibe and overall feel of my wedding. She picked PERFECT gowns for me to try on. She made me feel comfortable during the appointment. She asked me things about myself, my partner, our wedding plans and how I would like to feel on my wedding day. It was such a special experience. I found the dress on my first day there. Angela, the owner, also allowed me to come again on a Saturday (which are highly sought after times) to bring my family who live out of town. My 80 year-old grandparents thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I am so grateful my family was able to attend. Overall, this was my experience made me feel like a celebrity. I truly, truly, truly had the BEST experience at Fabulous Frocks. I brought three people with me and Addie made all four of us feel so comfortable and welcome! Addie had called me a few days before my appointment to ask me a few questions about our wedding and to find out what I was looking for in a dress. Then, Fabulous Frocks followed me on Instagram and DM'd me a few dress options and asked me to "like" my favorites. When I got to my appointment, Addie had pulled all of the ones that I had liked on Instagram and I started my appointment with those! I actually ended up picking one of them as THE ONE! Addie added the most PERFECT veil and even helped me pick gorgeous earrings. She even put my hair up in a half up/half down style so that I could envision what my veil would look like on my wedding day! She truly made me feel so beautiful and happy and comfortable. When the moment finally came, she celebrated with all of us and helped us take lots of pictures and even had us blow a confetti popper outside :) That was one of my favorite moments and I'll always remember it. I had a fantastic experience buying my wedding dress at Fabulous Frocks! From beginning to end, Angela was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The small space is cozy and personal and it was perfect for a fitting with my close family and friends joining in. We even celebrated with a champagne toast once I found my dress! Angela communicated with me frequently but never in a sales-pitch type of way throughout the whole process of booking an appointment, trying dresses on (more than once) and purchasing my dress and accessories. Although most of the dresses available at Fabulous Frocks when I went in were off the rack, there were some available to order, and my accessories were all custom ordered and shipped in quickly. Alterations are not done in house, but the tailor Angela recommended is fabulous and close by. Angela was also very helpful with recommendations for other wedding needs such as photography, music, etc. as I was in the beginning stages of planning.
