Everyone is so friendly and professional. They put you right at ease. The receptionist Melinda does a great job from answering questions on the phone call to the to greeting guests when they walk in. She is personable and helpful. Kim and Dr. Kickish were both so pleasant and patient. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. All service prices are discussed up front so there are no surprises and they even have an in house plan that makes sense. They are NOT the pushy "gotta have this done" and "let's up sell"dentists I've been to. They seem to genuinely care and I felt right at home here! I returned for a second visit as I needed a tooth extracted. I'm not a great patient and even have fainted before, so I let them know my concerns. Inspiration Dental has given me possibly the best dental experience I've ever had. I've had great dentists with okay staff, okay dentists with great staff, but everyone at Inspiration is great. From the moment you walk in the door, you're welcomed and remembered. They are thorough in their diagnosis and treatment, explain EVERYTHING, and even tell you when you don't need something. They explained things to me that no other dentist has explained and I feel like my dental health is a partnership between me and their entire staff. I haven't had any insurance issues with them, Melinda really knows her stuff and they prepare you for the cost of treatment BEFORE you have it. Dr Milne is my primary dentist and she is fantastic! Absolutely the BEST Dentist EVER. I can even say, FUN! Dr. Milne is patient. She answered all of my many questions very thoroughly. She really cares about her patients. After my exam, Dr. Milne was incredibly reassuring while she explained everything she was thinking, and in simple terms! She gave me all of my options, the pros and cons of each. I never felt like she was pushing any unnecessary treatments (which has definitely happened to me at other dentists). For someone like me with complicated & serious health issues, she and her staff have made it super easy and less painful. More than anything else, they made me feel like family, which made it comfortable for me to return as often as necessary for maintenance. They did an AWESOME job with my crown. Before Dr. Milne permanently cemented it in, she asked me if I liked the color; I thought it looked good. However, she wasn't happy with how it matched my other teeth and asked me if I was okay with having the temporary crown on for another week in order to have the lab fix the color. She ended up fixing the color for me and I LOVE IT. All of the team is great and friendly. They are super conscientious, respectful and professional. I can say that I actually look forward to going to the dentist because of them. I feel very fortunate to have found this practice. I am planning on being with this practice for a very long time. :D One other note: Very fair price. They were very transparent about pricing and insurance. I was given a detailed treatment plan with prices before having any work done. I had several issues that needed to be addressed and we tackled them together, one at time, the most urgent first. Beware!! I needed 2 simple fillings. They told me I needed 2 root canals and 2 crowns. I went to another dentist and got it done.

I have been a patient there since the first month they opened the doors. I have had billing issues over the years but 3/ 2020 was the WORST!! I had a new crown put in and the claim needed to be filed with the same policy it had been for 9 years!! Melinda has never filed the claim with the GA location which is the policy that had been in place for 9+ years. She has filed the claim using my new plan that was in effect on 7/1/2020. I have told her over and over that is why the claim is not getting paid but she has never filed it with the plan that was in place!! I went in on December to have a bridge made and Melinda charged $730.66 to my HSA and credit card. I thought this was going towards my new bridge which I would owe $1,500.00. But instead she applied to the claim from 3/11/2020 that she has never filed with the policy that was in place!! She just doesn't seem to get that you have to file the claim with the policy that in effect at the time!!! I will never refer anyone to this office again and I am researching what options I have to file a complaint. She had 6 months to file the claim with the GA office and another 6 months to dispute. She filed all the paper work with the MO plan what wasn't in effect!!! In this case I have paid for the full crown because Melinda doesn't have a clue what she is doing!! Worst place ever! Very rude receptionist; uneducated and disrespectful. Awful service... we were trying to find a place closer to our house because I drive an hour to see my dentist. Apparently others have been treated very differently than I had. Thank goodness I have my dentist who is awfully far but is a class act. Her work is beautiful and she explains everything. This was a waste of time and money spent (that by the way, I was never explained the charge) I've spent over $30k on restoring my mouth the past 6 years. They made a huge mistake! I will continue with my very loyal and skilled dentist who has enough staff that are very well trained and very nice. I went in for my 6 month cleaning and they told me that I had to pay for my cleaning out of pocket and the insurance company would send me a reimbursement check. I asked why I needed to do that and they said they are doing this because they don't get their money from the insurance fast enough. I paid for my cleaning and was told the reimbursement check would come 7-10 days later. Well I called my insurance company and low and behold.. they recieved my reimbursement check and they cashed it! They are open till 5 but apparently they don't answer the phones between 4-5. And apparently they got paid quicker than they put on by the insurance company. AND they charge for fluoride $25. The last 30 years of going to a dentist.. none of them ever charged for that! I have been to many dentists, and I would have to say that Dr. Milne has been the greatest dentist that I have ever had. She has been very honest about what work needs done, she does not try to up-sell you, and keeps very competitive pricing with or without insurance. After shopping around on my crown and abutment, she was about 35% less than any competitors. I have had over 10 fillings and custom abutment and a crown done by her, and a partial denture, and it's all been a pleasure. My teeth have gone from a disaster to a pretty decent smile With her help. Her office staff is great, very friendly, free wifi, I never really have to wait very long, she doesn't double book her patients like most dentists do. I would suggest this dentist to any family or friends and do, I sell health insurance for a living and refer any client I have to her if they ever ask about dental work. She and her staff are so great, I drive a half hour to her office, because I know she will stand behind the work she does and is honest, it's hard to find people like that in this state. read more

OMG!!! I have dreaded going to the dentist for years!! Dr. Milne was recommended to me but my coworker! When my coworker expressed how her husband had a phobia of dentist, yet loved Dr Milne I thought, WTH I'll try it!! Well, needless to say, I'm speechless! This office is the bomb.com!! She and her staff should teach the class on how a dentist office should operate!! I adore her assistant Kim! She is the sweetest most compassionate dental assistant I have ever met!! Every person in her office introduces themselves and what their role is! Dr. Milne is so patient, extremely thorough, and clearly cares about her patients! More importantly she's clearly is not in practice to drain your bank account! She allows you to do what is necessary first, then DISCUSS if the next plan is acceptable for your current funding situation! This dentist's billing practices are very questionable. We have been overcharged many time. Even billed for visits that were cancelled. We are with Delta Dental - this is a "Premier" provider - AKA they can charge you whatever they want to and blow through your coverage maximum. My first visit was for a chipped tooth & the Dr said it wasn't chipped, it was just a bit of tartar. So I make an appointment for a cleaning. A week before my cleaning they call me to remind me of the appointment. I answered and confirmed. They still keep calling, atleast 3 times a day all week long and send me an email. I had to block the number so my phone would stop ringing. I go to my appointment despite the annoying phone calls because I want my teeth cleaned. I was warned up front that there is $78 xrays that are not covered by insurance. I'll pay for the xrays if you say they are important. But then AFTER I have the xrays the doctor comes in to look at my teeth. Twice she mentions a chip in my tooth which she previously told me was not a chip. She says my teeth look pretty good but she recommends a deep cleaning because my gums could be a little healthier. They also want to do more xrays after my deep cleaning & to replace my metal fillings with white ones. I ask, is that covered by insurance? Good thing I asked because its not. Seems like a lot but I understand but elect to put it off. I was going on vacation that day and deep cleanings are painful and would make it hard to eat on vaca. Also,I wasn't expecting to pay $300. Their response, "Ok see you next time"...wait what? I still need my regular cleaning. But they say they won't clean my teeth unless I do the other one too.They quickly escort me out to pay them $78 for xrays that Im not sure anyone looked at. At the desk she tells me, you owe $78 , we will bill it to insurance but they won't pay. If they do we will refund you. So I repeat it to her, " You will bill it to insurance?", "Yes but they probably won't pay" $78 lighter, I never got the cleaning I came for. FF a few weeks and my EOB comes in the mail from insurance.They billed insurance for $78 and it was paid. I call the office and I'm told they billed insurance for 1 set of xrays but DID NOT BILL THE UNCOVERED XRAYS AS PROMISED. The person on the phone, gives me a billing code to prove to me that there were two diff billing codes and the 2nd set of xrays would not be covered. I call insurance with the code and find out those xrays are only done on growing children. Since Im an adult, they won't be covered, but if those xrays were done, the Dr is in violation of their contract for not billing them. They should bill it so it can at least apply it to my deductible etc. I email the Dr with my concerns and because maybe they can fix all of this. A week later, the Dr responded, but she didn't answer any of my concerns, she did the politician dance around the questions and just told me again she recommends a deep cleaning and better fillings. She was basically reading my chart to me as if I wasn't there when it happened. She also said she has to do what she recommends or I could sue her for malpractice. She apparently thinks I have no idea she was b.s.ing me. She should have read further in my chart to see what I do for a living and that I know a few things about this stuff. Still I had questions that she left unanswered so I emailed her back trying to get resolution and I wanted to get my teeth cleaned. I also asked her for a copy of my bill so that I could submit it to insurance myself. she didn't reply to that. I TRIED REALLY HARD TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES BEFORE I WROTE THIS YELP REVIEW. Since I burned my exam covered by insurance, I must pay for another one somewhere else, or wait till next year to get my teeth cleaned. Either way, I'm going to someone else. Someone who will answer my questions and won't B.S. me. Someone who is in the business to help people and not just to make a $. I will not give this place another penny. I wanted to do the deep cleaning, I just didn't want to do it that day.I originally didn't mind the xrays but now I'm mad and feel scammed. I also find out with a bit of research,that other dentists do an initial cleaning before your deep cleaning because it is necessary to clean your teeth AND beneath your gums. Also, you are a manager of your own health. If you don't want a deep cleaning, you don't have to have one. They just write in your chart that you denied the recommendation. If they are paranoid they can make you sign something saying you decline the service at this time. I found dentists that will break the deep cleaning into two visits to allow one side of your mouth to heal since its painful and also to help break up the cost. Other dentists offer both the pretty white fillings and the regular fillings covered by insurance. So why did they get the generous 2 stars rating? Because atleast I didn't wait an hour in the waiting room first. They did smile at me when they took my money. And also, because I do believe I should do a deep cleaning for my gum health it just won't be with them. Don't turn someone away for a cleaning who is sitting in the chair, paid for your not medically necessary xrays without complaint, and really wants her teeth cleaned! read more

I booked an appointment here because they took our new insurance, I cannot comment on the doctor because when I refused the up-charge for their (in my opinion) overkill on X-rays I was refused treatment. A full mouth series, a panorex and a camera all billable to the patient. I told them that I had my teeth cleaned 6 months ago. They have their reasons I'm sure but having worked in the field for 11 years and having my teeth cleaned every six months since the 1980's I'm relatively certain I know my own teeth and don't need any work done. They refused to clean my teeth but that's the game they play. I would rather pay my regular dentist cash for the cleaning than this doctor for a mouthful of X-rays, because my exposure to radiation is taken seriously at Dr Saylor's office, unlike at Inspiration Dental, and after all, it is my choice. read more

Upon sitting down and reviewing my paperwork with this practice I was told they "require" X-rays and pictures that were not covered as part of dental insurance so that they could complete a through exam. They refused to see me as a patient unless I paid the $78 out of pocket for their "required" pictures. However, they never once mentioned this during the booking or confirmation of my appointment only when I was actually sitting in front of them after already taking off work and being there for 20 minutes waiting for my appointment. The girl reviewing the paperwork became very sassy and rude when I advised that was very unethical of them not to disclose this required out of pocket for these non-medically necessary pictures. She said "well if patients ask about this when they schedule their appointment...". I brought up that this was not a copay as it is not medically necessary and not covered by insurance but rather bully medical practicing and how would a patient know to ask about this during an initial appointment booking! She then made a comment about "if I had trouble paying for this out of pocket they could split the payment up into two payments" and I advised It was not about the money but the shady practice! I will be reporting this to the insurance company and have no intention of going back! Also, don't expect to be seen by the Dr and have your cleaning on the same day (I guess you can double bill insurance when you make people come back twice for the intended reason they booked their appointment!). To then add insult to injury they violated my HIPAA rights by disclosing a personal detail on social media about me when I gave them a bad review. Soon after I advised I would be reporting this too my review is suddenly not counted towards their perfect rating on their website anymore. Do not waste your time with this practice!! read more

Inspiration dental is an amazing dental practice. I've never had a problem with any of the staff members and they are always so friendly. I love how all the staff members remember your name whenever you come in for an appointment and how they never cease to welcome you in like family. I enjoy how the staff always informs me about what they are doing to my teeth as well as the process. Their constant smiles and enthusiastic attitudes make the stereotypical fear of dentists nonexistent. Dr. Milne put veneers on my two lateral incisors and I've never been happier. She is a very talented dentist and always comes up with the best treatment plans. Dr. Kickish is amazing as well and is always eager to answer questions and concerns. I really like the dental hygienists and dental assistants at Inspiration dental as well. I have had Mariah as my dental hygienist multiple times and she has done a great job cleaning my teeth and making sure my teeth problems are handled. Made appointment here for my children and made it very clear they would need a couple fillings. They said it was no problem and they could do it. They bill my insurance and use up their free dental exam. THEN tell me that they can't do fillings and I have to go elsewhere. I took them to a new dentist and now had to pay for their exams there bc this place used my exam. They knew what they were doing and didn't care. No respect for this place. This was our first routine visit to the practice and it was again a wonderful experience. Our first experience was for an emergency type situation, my son knocked off his two front teeth. That visit to make the repairs was amazing and made us switch from our previous dentist. The staff at Inspiration Dental and Dr. Janis Milne are super friendly, welcoming and keep me the parent informed and feeling involved. Watching the interaction with the staff, dentist and my son is such a heart warming experience; They engage, talk and treat him with respect and in a caring way. Scheduled appointment for a cleaning only, was told they accepted our insurance. Once there was told that they REQUIRED additional x-rays in order for them to do the cleaning. No work was needed. Our insurance covers a pano, and 2 full sets of x rays!! They charged $78 for these additional x-rays. Just looking to get your money, they did not need the x-rays, and if they wanted them, they should do them for free. (The actual cost of an x-ray is minimal) NEVER GO THERE!! read more
