They had the car for about an hour, and when it was ready, they brought the wrong car out. They discovered their mistake and then just let me drive away and said there would be no charge for the inspection. That's the good news. The better news is I went in after having received an estimate for over $4000 worth of repairs from a Volkswagen dealership. Texaco said they could do two out of the five services so I gave them the keys and they started the work this morning. I got a call soon after they started and said that the coolant system did not need to be changed. It was perfectly fine and didn't need to be done. I got the brakes done (for half the cost of the dealer) and was very happy that they also discovered that my oil level was low. I was very happy with the service and the honesty of this local service department
