He was extremely thorough and truly left no stone unturned. He found issues that other inspectors could have easily overlooked, and those findings ended up helping me secure a sizable credit from the seller during negotiations. That alone made the inspection worth every penny. We did the full home inspection, main sewer line camera inspection, and mold inspection. Everything was handled professionally, and all reports, photos, and follow-up information were returned quickly and in a very timely manner, which was huge since real estate timelines move fast. He also explained everything clearly and made the process feel a lot less stressful. He was referred to me by someone I trust, and now I understand why. I'll definitely be recommending Brandon and Unique Home Inspections to friends, family, and anyone buying a home. If you want someone honest, detailed, and looking out for your best interests, he's a great choice!

We found a house in Los Angeles that we were interested in and reached out to Brian to see if he services the area. Brian responded within minutes! He provided a quote and his availability in the first conversation. He answered all our questions including additional requests to inspect a pool and to test for mold. We clearly understood all his services and pricing before committing. Brian is a straight shooter and gets to the point. I gave Brian our agent's information and was pleasantly surprised that he connected with the agent without my involvement. Brian was on-time to the scheduled appointment for the inspection. He got straight to business. We thought that we had to be there for the inspection because I've heard horror stories of inspectors speeding through the inspection and missing details. But not with Brian. Brian handles business! He inspected EVERYTHING, in and around the house. He categorized his findings from most concerning like the house being slanted to minor details like there being cracks on the driveways. Brian inspected everything.. from cracked paint, to pipes, to wires, leaks, nothing was missed. Brian went under the house and into the attic. Brian took his time and gave us the most detailed inspection and report! After his extensive inspection, Brian was able to explain his findings in simple terms to us. We asked for his opinions on a number of items. He is extremely knowledgeable, no bs, all facts. We got the report on the same day to review digitally. We asked for additional mold testing and was provided the mold report and results a couple days after. Brian saved us from making a million-dollar mistake. I truly believe that without Brian, we would've purchased a house that looked good on paper without knowing that the core was in disrepair. Brian brought everything about the house to light with his inspection. He gave us power in understanding the house's true condition and we ultimately made the decision to not purchase. We are so thankful to have worked with Brian and look forward to working with him again. If you are looking for the most thorough, detailed-oriented, focused, eagle-eyed, professional, prompt, knowledgeable, smart house inspector.. call Brian! Brian is also a dog person and let us bring our corgi puppies along. Literally the best inspector.

And indeed he was! Elias met us on an expedited schedule and he worked promptly with a deep attention to detail. He identified every little issue and gave us an extreme amount of comfort. He even fended off an annoying seller agent that ambushed him towards the end of his inspection and tried to get information on Elias' findings before he even discussed with the client (me). In summary, Elias is the best in the business and is a man of strong integrity. I highly recommend him and definitely would work with him again.

Sadly, he scheduled the wrong day and my agent went to the property and basically wasted the trip there since we had to reschedule to the next day. For me this wasn't a big deal since I didn't go out myself, but I felt bad that my agent wasted his time. Elias was very apologetic and even bought my agent a gift card as an apology. He totally owned up to his mistake and for me that speaks volumes about a person. The actual inspection was pretty good as far as I can tell, I'm not an expert on these kinds of things but the report was very detailed and had a lot of photos. He flew a drone up to the roof to take a look and even pointed out minor details like staining on the carpet that I honestly didn't catch when I saw the property myself. Seems like he used infrared to check for water leaks when inspecting the plumbing in the bathrooms and kitchen. In terms of pricing, he was one of the more expensive options but given the level of customer service he provided and the quality of the report I would say it's worth it. Overall, the experience with Elias was very positive and if I ever need inspection services again, he'll be the first I call.

They also have IAC2 certification if you have a mold issue. Thankfully, we did not. Trident Inspection Group is the inspection service you want to use for a variety of tasks. We retained them for a home inspection in the Brentwood hills that is in a fire zone. We have had a very difficult time getting insurance carries to insure the home for fire. We have had insurance cancelled and some companies will not even consider this wonderful home. We called and Jeffrey Clark, from Trident, came out on time and on the date promised. Trident is great and we have such respect for Mr. Clark. Wildfires have become an ever-increasing destructive problem in the Brentwood hills area due to the ongoing drought and other environmental issues. We called Trident for help. Trident Inspection Group is a team of certified and thoroughly trained professionals ready to provide home inspections for your home, for insurance purposes or if you are a potential buyer. Jeffrey took his time looking at major and minor parts of the property to ensure that we had an in-depth report. Jeffery is, among other things, an expert at home fire hardening and defensible space inspection. We had our report in a speedy manner, which was so useful, actually, something that will assist us in getting fire insurance. It laid out issues, how to address them and how to mitigate any issues before we even contact another insurance carrier. We also were given ideas of cost of what was needed. Sadly, we had to remove a huge tree that was just too close to the house and do other items, well, all of them, on Jeffrey's report. Jeffrey is so thorough and easy to work with, you will love him. He will explain all he is doing and your report will be in your in box (and in pdf for you to print) super fast, but never rushed, it is complete. He works great with contractors as well as House Managers and owners. We are the contractor and House Manager for this home with a very detailed oriented client who expects results. We are the ones who retained Trident and worked with them. Their pricing is fair. They return calls straight away, and Jeffrey was actually early for our inspection. They also do termite inspections and we will have Jeffrey out to do that soon on another property. We have dealt with other inspectors in the past. We now will only use Trident.

Good communication and quick scheduling. I was able to have a technician come out the same day I called to schedule. The technician was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions while he was concentrating on the testing, set up etc. He was careful with his words meaning he didn't cause any unnecessary stress or anxiety. He wasn't pushy and was conscious of the cost while also recommending what samples are needed or suggested. He was clean and careful. Cons: Expensive compared to other mold testing companies. The invoice can quickly add up. I originally planned for about $800 ($500 base fee plus $75 for 4 samples). I added on asbestos test and that brought my bill to over $1300. In some ways I see this as a positive though because you get what you pay for (I hope and can't compare to any other company). My whole house wasn't moisture mapped as I was told it would be. The tech said they only focus on the reported areas of concern. Not a big deal but would've been nice to know. I kept getting rescheduled by 15 minutes. The tech was running late then running early so that was a little confusing. I jokingly asked them if I get compensation for the changed appt time since I signed the contract already (they charge $150 for any changes). They said no. The report is a bit confusing as it was the first time. The most annoying is that in the asbestos report they suggested further testing. Likely costing another $1000 or more. I thought I was already paying for the best testing. This feels a bit like a trick in some ways. Overall I'd go to JLM again. I suggest to do some research beforehand though to know exactly what you need done (AND WHY meaning are you renovating or just wanting to know for health reasons etc) so you don't get unneeded tests or costs.
