My fiancé and I hired Brian and OC Home Inspect during our home-buying process in June 2026. We are grateful for the flexibility, attention to detail, and professionalism shown by Brian during the process. My first communication with OC Home Inspect was not through some third-party call center, or some automated phone tree, but with Brian himself who introduced himself and even was available for texting for any additional inquiries. His clear photos, explanations, and estimates provided a wealth of information to empower us during the negotiation process. He took his time post-inspection to explain his findings and properly triage the issues with us and our realtor. This was vital in creating a sense of confidence during the home buying process, impressing not only us but also our realtor. I would definitely recommend OC Home Inspect to any home buyers looking to make informed decisions during the process. Thanks once again! read more

OC Home Inspect - Home Inspectors Near Me - Orange, California

I previously used Brian when I purchased my last home, and he did such an amazing job that I hired him again to inspect another home I recently bought. Once again, he exceeded my expectations! Brian was punctual, incredibly thorough, and provided a detailed inspection report that gave me confidence in my purchase. He takes the time to explain his findings and is very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. If you're looking for a reliable home inspector, I highly recommend Brian. He's the best home inspector I've worked with (let me tell you I've worked with many home inspectors in the past), and I'll definitely continue using him for any future home purchases. read more

We hired Brian for a home inspection and found the experience extremely disappointing. The inspection was completed in under one hour, which felt brief for the scope of a full home inspection. The appointment time was changed from the originally scheduled time, and we were not offered much flexibility to accommodate our schedule. When we asked about California regulations for thermostat placement, we were advised to use "ChatGPT" for the information and were not given a specific code reference or handbook. When we requested official sources, we were told that it was "not required," which left us unclear on the actual standard. After the inspection, we personally identified additional issues that were not noted in the report, which further reduced our confidence in the thoroughness of the service. Based on our experience, we do not feel this service provided good value for the price and would not choose to use this inspector again. read more

OC Home Inspection was excellent! He arrived on time for the inspection and was very professional, honest, and throughout the entire process. Everything was explained clearly and consistently, and he took the time to point out even the small details while helping us understand what to expect with the property in the future. Your expertise and professionalism truly helped the buyers feel comfortable moving forward with purchasing the property in its as-is condition. We sincerely appreciate all of your help and support. Thank you again! read more

We had the privilege to work with Brian 5 months ago and his incredible work, professional demeanor, and detailed inspection report has left a lasting impression. We found a house in Los Angeles that we were interested in and reached out to Brian to see if he services the area. Brian responded within minutes! He provided a quote and his availability in the first conversation. He answered all our questions including additional requests to inspect a pool and to test for mold. We clearly understood all his services and pricing before committing. Brian is a straight shooter and gets to the point. I gave Brian our agent's information and was pleasantly surprised that he connected with the agent without my involvement. Brian was on-time to the scheduled appointment for the inspection. He got straight to business. We thought that we had to be there for the inspection because I've heard horror stories of inspectors speeding through the inspection and missing details. But not with Brian. Brian handles business! He inspected EVERYTHING, in and around the house. He categorized his findings from most concerning like the house being slanted to minor details like there being cracks on the driveways. Brian inspected everything.. from cracked paint, to pipes, to wires, leaks, nothing was missed. Brian went under the house and into the attic. Brian took his time and gave us the most detailed inspection and report! After his extensive inspection, Brian was able to explain his findings in simple terms to us. We asked for his opinions on a number of items. He is extremely knowledgeable, no bs, all facts. We got the report on the same day to review digitally. We asked for additional mold testing and was provided the mold report and results a couple days after. Brian saved us from making a million-dollar mistake. I truly believe that without Brian, we would've purchased a house that looked good on paper without knowing that the core was in disrepair. Brian brought everything about the house to light with his inspection. He gave us power in understanding the house's true condition and we ultimately made the decision to not purchase. We are so thankful to have worked with Brian and look forward to working with him again. If you are looking for the most thorough, detailed-oriented, focused, eagle-eyed, professional, prompt, knowledgeable, smart house inspector.. call Brian! Brian is also a dog person and let us bring our corgi puppies along. Literally the best inspector. read more

OC Home Inspect was the best choice. Our realtor had given us a list of recommended inspectors and OC from the beginning was extremely responsive! Brian A. was communicative, professional, and very detail oriented. Pricing was reasonable from the start and honestly after the services were rendered I think we got an absolute deal! I've had other inspections done and this was by far one of the most thorough inspections and just efficient processes and teams to work with. Buying a new home can be scary, but having the right team, like OC Home Inspect to make sure the fine details and intricacies of a property - especially an old one - were reviewed and documented put us in a good spot to know what types of issues we'll have tackle with this or any future home purchase. Hoping this is "our home" but if it isn't, we'll definitely be using Brian and the OC team again for any future property inspections. read more

Brian was absolutely awesome. This man lived up to his reviews and saved me and my wife from buying a home that would have cost us 50-100k worth of structural repairs. He was thorough, yet efficient (he got in a bunnysuit and crawled all over the crawlspace and rummaged through the attic for long periods of time looking at every last thing). I'm sad he was too busy to look at another house we ended up making an offer on, but you shouldn't hesitate to use OC Home Inspect! read more

I'll definitely use him again if I have any future inspection needs in the area. read more

Knowledgeable, courteous and very professional. Brian offers several home inspection options through his website. I only required a 4-point inspection for inspection purposes for two properties, but from our initial phone conversation to the resulting reports and letters, Brian was very prompt. The quality of the requested service was more than I anticipated and I would certainly recommend him for any type of inspection as his prices are reasonable and knowledge comprehensive. read more

I reached out to Brian on a Saturday, and by Monday, he was at my house to complete the inspection requested by Mercury. He offered the best pricing compared to everyone else I contacted and was punctual and efficient. read more

This guy is a joke, called me half hour before the appointment and told me he messed up with the appointment. So sorry, no solutions. I asked the day's off to be here earlier and hoping could get everything done. But instead got stoled up. That's basic rules and I can't think how I can trust someone can't even be punctual. Even asked me to leave the door open , quoted "they are all junkie condos what gonna happen". Escape. read more
