I wanted to send a warning out there regarding this Insector Gary Thompson. He was hired to perform a FHA 203k Consulting service. He told us he needed to inspect the building and is charge for inspection was $1,580.00. He did not send us any write-up on what the procedure will be what is needed from us etc. He was fast in delivering the inspection and in asking for payment from us. He even ask us to make payment directly deposited in his bank account at Chase. At this point, we still have never met the man nor have we had a conversation longer than 10 minutes. After 3 weeks and getting near closing date we still had no completion of his write-up that is required for the renovation portion of the loan process. My wife works in the hospital 12 hrs a day and she had to use all her break period and lunch periods trying to call him and get a hold of him. He would tell you hold on and then after 1-2 minutes hang-up and never call you back. It got to the point that we thought he had a psychological issue and the problem was we were in the middle of closing and no other inspector would take over the job he left messy. I am a REALTOR and a registered nurse who works in home dialysis, I have never come across an individual who operates like this man. On a final note he was insisting we use his construction company that he is familiar with to perform the required work. If we used his company then we would have a smooth experience.
