I still remembered how warm, soft, and delicious they were from almost 7 years ago. When the opportunity arose for me to take a trip to SF, I made sure that I hit this place up with the quickness! Stopped by around 5:30 pm to find that the door was locked. I was so upset at first. Turned around and started walking to my car until a gentleman from inside ran to the door and told me that they were open. Not really sure why that door was locked, but I'm glad that he let me in. It smelled so good in there. Not only do they have cookies, but they also have ice cream here too. Didn't try the ice cream this time around, but I will definitely be tasting it on a future visit. But, back to those cookies. It must have been a busy day because they were sold out some of the flavors that I was looking forward to trying. Luckily, they still had some good flavors left. Ended up getting a half dozen cookies: Chocolate Chunk, Classic with M&M's, Double Chocolate Chunk, Sugar and Oatmeal Raisin. First of all, EVERY damn one of those cookies were scrumptious. Secondly, I devoured that box on the drive home within literal minutes. Not something that I'm proud of, but that's really saying about these cookies. I mean, they were literally melting in my hands AND in my mouth. So damn soft they were. Mmm, mm, mmm. If you want a chocolate overload, you can't miss the double chocolate chunk. Chocolate all up in yo face! The sugar cookies were probably by favorite out of the bunch though. Just a load of sugary and buttery goodness. I feel like I can still taste them. So only a few (big) bites had it. Triple Chocolate Chunk: I always have a soft spot for cookies like this. Traditional cookie dough with a lot more chocolate than a regular old chocolate chip. Really nice large blocks. And when you get this fresh, there is chocolate oozing everywhere. Salted Caramel: Thankfully not too salty. Some places go a bit overboard on the salted caramel fad but they found the right balance. Nice "chips" of caramel that were all melty against a rather neutral cookie base. I had leftover points (!!) and there was a code for free delivery so all of this was free. These are our two favorite flavors. Delivery is quick and flawless, on time. Their store is small, cute, clean, and they only allow one customer at a time which was an inconvenience when you go with family members. However, due to Covid it is nice to have those precautions.
