Well! I was very excited for some cookies and as the dedicated late night cookie spot, I figured I would stop into this specific location after dinner! Overall, I will say the cookies were amazing and the location was great! Which makes it so unfortunate that we had such an off experience with the staff! We got in line, and just our luck, we apparently were just before one of the "staff regulars". The attendant that was supposed to take our order completely disregarded that we were there and immediate began helping him. It wasn't until I spoke up letting them know that we had been standing there waiting patiently! It was briefly disappointing and I almost did not order, but ultimately did. I got the oatmeal raisin, and while the cookie was good, the store itself is super underwhelming. When I saw the sign, I expected to walk in and see a plethora of cookies staged as eye candy! However, you see NO cookies... Only ice cream. I frequent this Insomnia cookies regularly . Located near the AAC , this location is a smaller location but offers a quick and effective experience . I usually always receive great customer service here and the cookies seemingly have 90% of the time been delicious and freshly made . Tried this place out for the first time on a Saturday evening. White Chocolate Macadamia - Soft. Nice chewy texture. Slightly coconut-y. Oatmeal Raisin - Soft. Nice chewy texture. Spices are pretty typical for an oatmeal raisin cookie. Cinnamon Bun Filled Classic - Quite disappointing. Soft, but not chewy. More like a typical sugar cookie texture & flavor. Apple Pie Filled Classic - Meh. This one was ok. Similar texture to Cinnamon Bun Filled cookie - soft, but not chewy. Basically taste like a slightly more cinnamon-y snickerdoodle filled with apple pie filling. S'mores - Larger size than the classic cookies. Chocolate flavor is very evident - not too sweet. Marshmallows have a nice sticky pull & flavor. The little bits of crunchy " graham cracker" also help bring together the whole s'mores feel. I'm typically not a fan of chocolate dough cookies, but this one was nicely executed. Salted Caramel - This one was also a larger size than the classic cookies. This one's texture was not as soft as the others & also a thinner thickness. The salt is quite evident. Not as butterscotch-y as I typically fear, but also not much caramel flavor. I was also expecting a more gooey caramel texture, but it was not present. Meh. Chocolate Chunk Blondie - Nice crisp edges & soft center. Taste like a regular chocolate chip cookie cake to me. Chocolate Chunk Brookie - A LOT of chocolate chunks. I think bittersweet chocolate chunks. The bottom is lined with dense fudgey brownie. Overall, all the cookies were pretty decent & IMO better than average when compared to other cookie places. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY with this store. Better yet, don't patronize it. Tonight was the 2nd time I've had issues with their deliveries. The store is only a couple of minutes drive from my building. I ordered delivery before and when I would check the status, it kept saying it was in process and said that for over an hour. An hour to pack up cookies that are already made?! The order was finally delivered over an hour past the scheduled delivery time. Tonight, I decided to give it another chance and ordered a few cookies to be delivered. Within a half an hour the delivery person called me and stated they were at my building. I asked if she was at my door or downstairs and she said downstairs and I told her I will be right down to get the delivery. I was down there in under two minutes and I walked through my garage and all around my front entrance and building and there was no person with a delivery. I walked back into my building and spoke with my concierge and he said nobody came in with a delivery. I came back up to my apartment thinking maybe she delivered it to my door but there was nothing at my door. So once again, I went back downstairs and went out front and waited and there was nobody there. 10 minutes passed so I called the store and they wanted to argue with me about how I needed to call Uber Eats about it. I stated to them that on Uber Eats it says that you have to call the store regarding deliveries because it is their employees that do the delivery. She asked my name several times and could not get it straight and I had to spell it out for her. She said she saw the order and that she would call the delivery person (their employee) to see where they were and that she would call me back. 15 minutes went by and I never received a phone call. Giving it one more chance, I went back down to my lobby and looked around the front entrance for a person and went back to concierge and asked again and they had not seen anybody. At that point it was over 30 minutes so I called Uber Eats for a refund. They were absolutely no help. They called the store and the store claims it was delivered so they will not refund me. I absolutely trust our concierge so I had him show me the front door cameras during that entire timeframe of when she said she was there and the last time I had went down and there was absolutely nobody that came through our front doors during that time. This store's employees are unscrupulous. I'm pretty upset about this and even more so that I pre-tipped the delivery person; I'll never do that again. I've tried their cookies once before and thought they were just ok, so this time I tried the ice cream. I got the "dreamweaver" which is chocolate chunk cookies, s'mores ice cream, and white chocolate stars. I couldn't taste the s'mores but did like the chocolate chunks; the white stars were cute but they don't add to the overall flavor. When we called the store there was no apology or solution just "I have no idea why he didn't give you the cookie". Warm cookies at midnight? Yes, please! Haven't seen an Insomnia cookies since I was in college out of state, so I immediately detoured in here to get some warm cookies despite the hour. Unfortunately, they were out of snickerdoodle, but I made it work with sugar cookies. Everything came out warm and it was the perfect sugar jolt to keep the night going. Once I got there, I ordered the 6 classic pack - 2 chocolate chunk, 2 snickerdoodle, 2 m&m cookies just to try out some of the classic flavors. I sit on a bench outside to place the order and as I finish all three employees come outside to smoke. Of course, given that we were thinking of ice cream with our choice of cookie (I think this is called a pazookie). We ultimately chose the Double Chocolate Chunk and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookie. $2.50 each to my surprise! Not only is this a lot for a cookie, but the cookies were the average size you could buy at Tom Thumb or another grocery store. Ordered a birthday cake from this location 35 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup time and received a confirmation email and a text for curbside pickup. When I arrived at the store, I was told that they didn't have any record if my order and I must be at the wrong store. I showed the manager on duty the order confirmation and was told that they didn't receive the order. They offered to either replace the cake with cookies or wait an hour and a half for the cake. Neither was a good solution, but I chose the cake later in the day since we now had no cake for the party. I asked if there would be any sort of discount for the problems, and was told they couldn't do that. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I was speaking to the manager, and if I want satisfied I could call customer service as she couldn't do anything further. Customer service was able to provide a 50% discount, which didn't make up for the cake being late, or the dismissive attitude if the manager on duty. I've never seen worse customer service in a situation that was entirely the restaurant's fault. They make good cookies, but they seriously need to revaluate their in-store leadership. If that's acceptable customer service, I won't be returning. read more

Love that this store is open until 3am daily! They had plenty of flavors to choose from and the cookies were huge. The prices were reasonable too. Ordered the white chocolate macadamia nut and red velvet cookies and the brownie. I wasn't a huge fan of the cookies, they were too gooey and didn't taste fresh. I rarely actually get it if I order it through grub hub bc it's outsourced to Uber ? To deliver and the communication is cray. But when I do get it and it's warm it's pretty delicious .
