The opening of Bang Cookies somehow put me into a cookie mood--I want to try all the famous cookies near me, so I made my husband drive me to Insonmia Cookies tonight. The Conshohocken location is not easily accessible--it's either street parking or you may park in the nearby garage if you're lucky enough to find a spot. Cookies are of decent quality--we got one classic and one deluxe, both of which came out warm. Price-wise, Insomnia seems more affordable than both Crumbl and Bang. Size-wise, the classic is quite small while deluxe is comparable to Crumbl and Bang. What makes Insomnia Cookies interesting is its name and super late closing time. Personally, I also give it some nostalgic credits--the name "insomnia" reminds me of the Insomnia coffee shops I frequented in Ireland. read more

10/10/19 Update: I'm not changing my rating since this is the first time this has happened. I went in this afternoon to make a purchase. The lady at the counter was completely inattentive. I walked in and she was on the phone. She put it down to ask me what I wanted then phone back to the ear. She didn't ask for my card. She just stuck her hand out. Still on the phone. Put the receipt on my box and quickly turned around to go back to the kitchen still on the phone. I yelled out "THANK YOU"! Didn't hear me so I loudly welcomed myself! Disclaimer: I 100% recommend visiting Insomnia Cookie and purchasing the products. The cookies are delicious let's face it. However, I would avoid this location, particularly with ordering online. I have attempted to order 2 times. Both times were for work purposes. The first time it was late. I made my second attempt Sunday, where I put in an order to be delivered Monday at 1:00pm. At 1:30, they called and said they couldn't deliver to me. Issues with drivers. I asked if it could be delivered the next day (Tuesday), and they agreed, but now they are saying that once again they are unable to deliver. It was frustrating because the staff at the location weren't very nice about it, rather indifferent and I could see how it would come off as rude. Customer service wasn't too helpful until I was escalated to the supervisor. He was very kind and apologetic and I think he is going to look into the issue in more detail. In conclusion, yikes. A lot of hype when this place first opened up, but on first visit it was definitely a disappointment. Not only is the design of the location poor to unnecessarily cause people to have to wait outside (if there are 4-5 people ahead of you), but the staff is rather rude, and the pricing for the quality of cookie is high.
