They installed brackets and a plate to the underside of the countertop, but they didn't line up. When I reached out to them, they basically said it's not their problem and "your plumber or contractor can drill the necessary holes and reattach the dishwasher". Fortunately, I went through FCA to contract the work originally and they sent someone out to fix my issue, free of charge, otherwise I would have had to pay someone else to come out and take care of the shotty work GMD did.

I felt my chimney needed a review because it had been over 20 years since the exterior had been looked at, so I walked over and talked to him. When he finished that job he came over, got out his ladder, and looked at my chimney which tops out at 2 1/2 stories. He figured out what it needed (1. cut-out and R&R one broken brick, 2. complete cleaning with a power wash, and 3. R&R the old flaunching on top), gave me a very reasonable estimate, and came back two days later to do the job. I could not be happier. He performed what he promised in a timely fashion, and cleaned up the site after he was done. He even looked at a little vertical crack I had under a bay window, and dug it out and replaced the mortar in the joint ... and he did not charge extra for that. So I have nothing but good things to say about this fellow. I have worked with four other masonry outfits (3 for estimates and one for a small job), and Steve at Masterly Masonry is far and away the best. His prices are reasonable and he won't nickel and dime you to death. He does quality work ... 'nuff said.

I was ghosted by two contractors and another's price point was double the going range. But Sometimes it takes awhile to find The BEST! Masterly Masonry by far has the BEST customer service. They went above and beyond. The brick I needed was no longer made. This company located 3 different bricks and mixed them to create something that would closely match my home. They also had the best price. They were prompt, clean, and did a beautiful job. I can't say enough good things about them. I just wish I had called them sooner...

They have tons of options, displays to show you what the product will look like, and their staff are insanely nice!

I settled on tts because of the way I was treated. They had a large showroom with many different choices. Courtney gave me samples to hold up in my kitchen. The installers were top notch and took their time to make sure it was perfect. They may not have been the cheapest but their customer service takes a back seat to no one Check them out. Dan Maka came by due to a request for some interior remodeling work. It included removing a window…read moreand door in a room and related exterior stairs. While here, he pointed out that they could do repairs on cedar siding, including painting the siding. Rough estimate while onsite was $10 to $12K for the exterior work. A few weeks later I got an estimate typed into an email for ~$12K. There were some inaccuracies in the work he wrote up, including no mention at all of removing one staircase and rebuilding a 2nd exterior staircase. How does something like this get overlooked? I wrote back with some questions, such as does the price include the work on the stairs, what is the warranty for the work, estimated timeframe for completion and questions about the painting subcontractor he plans to use. These are reasonable questions and there are a lot of poor quality, sloppy painters out there, so he should be comfortable answering them. Dan has since disappeared. Since then I talked with siding contractors who told me it's not a good idea to try and replace random cedar siding boards that are warped and brittle. This is because boards adjacent to them can get cracked in the process. Dan talks about having been in the construction industry for 30 years. He told me his background is actually as a plumbing He shouldn't have bothered to come over in the first place if he and doesn't have the knowledge about the work he wants to propose. I think Maka is more about doing Kitchens and Baths remodeling. That's different than doing repairs that relate to a home's construction. And it's interesting that he disappeared when I asked him about warranty and subcontractor information. For all I know, the subcontractor could have bad reviews. But he didn't even give me their name. And why doesn't Dan want to warranty his work? Another thing to be aware of is when first calling Maka, Brian, who works in the office, told me for $199 they'll do computerized design of the project, basically something similar to blueprints. He said you can have that even if you don't hire them to do the work. I brought this up to Dan when he first came over and he said "the $199 is my fee for coming over, I wasn't getting paid before I started charging that." So, two different stories on the $199. So, Dan got paid $199 for coming over and disappearing without providing a thorough estimate. I feel ripped off. Consider Smardbuild.

You then pick up your part at the exit with your paid receipt. Be aware that the cost of hard to find parts may be a bit expensive.

My wife and I built a house this past summer and had Tom and his crew create all the countertops…read more(and kitchen table) for our house. Man do these look beautiful! Everything was delivered within the agreed upon time window. There were a few snags in the process - the island wasn't fitted correctly and the kitchen table was made in the wrong color, BUT Tom has a lot of integrity and took ownership of everything and fixed it without any extra charges. Everything was dialed in and perfect in the end. I can't stress enough how relieving it is to work with someone who had integrity and stands by his work and product. He definitely is someone I would keep working with for future projects. Oh and I pursued a few quotes for the same project and Tom beat them all by a few thousand dollars! I would add that his product requires a bit more maintenance that I had realized - hopefully i don't butcher this, but its a concrete countertop coated with some sort of stone polymer that is completely customizable in color, texture, sand, etc (pretty cool) - on top of this is a clear sealant and on top of the sealant is a marine wax - this wax needs to be re applied every 3-6 months - especially in high traffic areas. Anything acidic (lemon, lime, citric acid, vinegar, etc) will begin to erode the wax and sealant and can stain the stone if left for too long. The cool thing though is that they can repair them in a way to make it look brand new so your not SOL if something happens to them. And just look at these photos... they speak for themselves.
