They are rated A+; however, in my book, they have a D due to their lack of professionalism. On Thursday, August 15th, the project manager came out to give me an estimate. She was friendly enough and very knowledgeable. The early stages of our initial encounter were pleasant, but when I asked about permits and the contract for my lawyer review, her demeanor changed. It seemed as though she had a problem with my request. Before the project manager left, I was told I would have the estimate by Friday, August 23rd. On August 23rd, I didn't hear from Anderson Construction, so I called. I was informed that the estimate wasn't complete yet because they were very busy. They reassured me it would be ready by the next day, Wednesday, August 28th. To my dismay, I didn't hear from Anderson on August 28 either. When I gave them a follow up call, the receptionist told me the project manger would call me back. The project manager never returned my phone call. I called them back on Thursday, August 29th. During this conversation, I was told that they sent me a text the prior day, but they messaged my landline so I didn't receive it. I gave them my cell number and was assured I would have the estimate that evening or Friday morning at the latest. I am writing this review on September 11, and I still waiting........... I was truly interested in doing business with this company, but their blatant display of unprofessionalism has been a turn off. If they can't provide an estimate in a timely manner, I can 't trust them to work on my home. Sheila M.

I dealt with Matt who came out to our home and gave us a reasonable quote. He was a pleasure to deal with. Notably, the crew showed up first thing in the morning on the date scheduled and worked continuously and efficiently over the next several days until the job was completed. The job involved a tricky scaffolding set-up which they handled with ease. The workmanship was excellent and it was clear that they took pride in their work. Clean-up was also excellent. Damien was the job foreman and he was also great to work with. The job was completed for the price quoted, even though it probably turned out be more work than they expected. Needless to say, I highly recommend Magic Masonry.

All they did was patch the garage floor cracks and patio with cheap Portland cement. And It was the sloppiest job I've ever seen. I couldve done that mess myself. why would I you need you? They then tried to charge me $900 for such sloppy disrespectful work. On top of that, I found out later they ruined my broom spreading the cement mix around and threw empty water bottles on my lawn. The disrespect for people's property was unacceptable. The pictures of their work speak for itself. I highly don't recommend.

In the design phase Doug quickly grasped our intent - to screen a neighbor's utility building - and offered great suggestions on which plantings would work best. His design incorporated multiple large trees at a very reasonable price. The job was complicated by multiple underground utilities, and during the installation phase they worked closely with Julie on-site to ensure they were avoided. Doug hand picked the major trees at the nursery, and on planting day positioned all the plants to our approval. The crew was efficient , professional and very courteous throughout the job, and quickly addressed any concerns we had. Since moving to Illinois 17 years ago we have employed three landscaping companies for major planting or patio installations. Scott, Doug and his crew are by far and away the best we have had.
