I stumbled across Hawthorne after doing some google searches for fertility acupunture specialists around our area. Honestly, what got me was the straightforward website featuring this service and reasonable price point BUT what kept me going was the superb service and genuine care from both Dr Cheryl and Elizabeth at the front desk that are most definitely hard to beat or come by (I've tried them allllllll, folks!!) I genuinely LOVE going to acupuncture with Dr Cheryl. It first started as a specifically for IVF and pregnancy treatment and turned into the office's being on my speed dial for literally any and every pain I feel in my body; honest to god, they are ALWAYA the first people I call and the only treatment I get real relief from. I've since gotten into heavy resistance training so, quite frankly, am almost always sore or broken somehow. Haha. That's on me... but Dr Cheryl always has a way of relieving my pain and giving me peace and serenity at her office. I seriously love the woman!!! I want to also share how grateful I am of their being so understanding and considerate of ALL their patients. I, for one, am a new first time mama of a 7 month old who dictates my schedule in as much as I try to prevent this. Babysitters flake, and you're stuck in a rut... but Dr Cheryl and Elizabeth are always quick to help me figure out something that works, even if it sometimes means coming earlier to the clinic to accommodate me. I can't imagine this is for any other reason than a genuine desire to help alleviate their patients' pain. TLDR; you will not regret coming here. They are the best in town, and I will most definitely keep coming back for anything and everything that an acupuncture needle can fix!!

Prior to starting acupuncture, I had 2 failed IVF transfers. For us to statistically conceive naturally, our fertility doctors told us that based on our history of infertility, we had less than a 1% chance of that occurring. When I came to see Cheryl, I was feeling pretty hopeless about our fertility situation, but she encouraged me and listened to me. She thoroughly investigated and created a personalized acupuncture treatment to suit my needs, for both my fertility and pelvic floor needs. We continued to do acupuncture and the herbs that Cheryl said would help with my egg quality, uterine lining, and all the things. We know, without a doubt, that the acupuncture treatments helped us conceive naturally for the first time EVER, and we are so grateful to Cheryl and all her help through this wild and amazing experience! I can't recommend her enough if you are trying to get pregnant - whether naturally or through IVF. Her acupuncture treatments are a game changer!

I've been to a lot... A LOT of massage therapists and body workers. We've been working on some kind of relief for my body for the past three years. After regular massages, it still wasn't enough to release the tension. I've tried chiropractors too and that helped for the bones but not really the pain and irritation. Taylor was so kind. I was nervous just because I've never done it before but she made me feel so much more at ease and confident in her practice. There was this one moment where it felt as though there was shift in the way my muscles existed and shortly afterwards it set in that I actually felt better. Way better than I've ever felt before. I definitely think there's more to be done with my back, I've always struggled with tension there, but I cried walking back to my car when I was able to identify felt how much relief was lifted. Highly recommend. It's so worth it.
