If it's your first time then you have to use one of the tablets to sign a waiver; this only takes a minute or two. Once signed you'll show your ID to the staff upfront. It's a quick check in. This interactive gym that's got climbing walls, a yoga studio and a regular exercising area are spacious and clean. I mostly saw young/younger generations of people but didn't you worry; I'm very much middle aged and although it was my first time climbing today and I was able to manage most of the beginner/entry level ones with no issues. We all did some sort of climbing when we were younger, right? Then all you have to do is to let that younger self come out of you!! Depending on your experience level, you'll get to pick where you want to do your climbing (the levels are clearly marked.) It was a busy night at this fun gym but people were very respectful to each other taking turns. I walked around the entire facility to check things out and I was impressed as to how immaculately they maintain the place. Even women's locker room was extremely clean with no trash or whatsoever. I didn't realize that climbing was also a good cardio workout. This was much needed exercise for me for sure. If you end up making blisters just walk up to the front desk and ask for a band-aide or two. They appear to have several locations in the Denver metro area so if you see one in your neighborhood go check it out. ***Note*** You can rent climbing shoes so you don't need to own them. Make sure you soak yourself in a warm bath with epsom salt after the climbing because you WILL be sore (LOL)!

But the climbing compared to the other gyms was just meh. Englewood is still the biggest Movement location in Colorado as of April 2024. Work was still being done in the women's locker room and hang boards were still pending as of April 6, 2024. Parking was plentiful. That was nice. There wasn't a lot of seating next to outlets. Nothing special here either - there was talk of a sauna and/or steam room but I guess it didn't pan out. But a nice option for climbing if you are in the area.

I've been climbing off and on for about 16 years and really appreciate the attention to detail that Movement offers. Staff are always super helpful. Events are plentiful and if you're wanting to up your game with classes, even learn to lead or belay, they've got you covered. And, nothing beats a clean gym. Bathrooms are really well kept and there are always plenty of locker and cubby spaces. I also appreciate the many lounging areas, both inside and outside of the climbing areas. The layout is well thought out and you don't really feel crowded despite having lots of folks in the gym with you. Membership has its perks for sure and the punch passes are another great option if you're getting your feet wet. Love this gym.

The facility is quite large and has more bouldering and climbing space than the other gyms. It also has a larger fitness area, including a dedicated room for fitness classes and a dedicated yoga room. Given the extra space they are able to offer more class options as well. Pricing reflects other gym franchises around the country - you get what you pay for with Movement IMO, if you choose to take advantage of the many membership benefits available to you (e.g. special events, gear discounts).

The intro class included a climbing shoe rental and access to a chalk bag to help with grip. Even though I was initially intimidated, I was surprised, and delighted to find the atmosphere was the most welcoming, supportive And inclusive fitness space I have ever been in. It seems this climbing gym is also a very social space. They have social events on Monday nights, trivia on Thursdays and there is a bar within the climbing gym so that people can have a beer and hang out after they're done climbing. This place is huge with a variety of climbing walls. At this Denver location. It is exclusively bouldering and no option for ropes climbing but the location in Louisville offers stop. The location is awesome and it's a short walk from downtown Denver or the Denver Art Museum area , and surprisingly it seemed that parking was pretty easy to find nearby. When I came in for the first time, they were offering an introductory special of two weeks for $35 which included an intro to bouldering class that is two hours long. All the memberships include unlimited access to climbing, and some guest passes, though I'm not sure of the specific number. Not only is the atmosphere more accessible than I anticipated but the membership pricing is also some thing that is more accessible than I anticipated. I could not have had a better first experience in a climbing gym, and I'm so grateful to Tristan for his patience and inclusivity for somebody who knew absolutely nothing about climbing. The staff at the front desk was also very warm and welcoming, and the attendees of the intro class were all friendly and supportive. I was also impressed by the create variation of skill levels for the climbing routes. There is some thing for everyone and the ability to progress and improve. The space was also clean and the crash pads were very safe. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.

The gym is massive and even has a separate gym area for lifting of you're a member. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They practice currently covid regulations with abiding by mask policy and have hydration stations where you can sit on benches. There is even a bar for a celebratory beer after your climbs. The climbs are easily marked for all difficulty areas. I'll definitely be back here as it's one of my favorite bouldering places I've been to around the country!

I visited in the early morning, and check-in was a breeze even with the waiver and orientation video. I was so happy to see the variety in the gyms, from top-out and comp-style walls to an overhang cave section. The setting was great. While the style is different than my home gym, the grading was very solid and on par. There were some pretty fun climbs, and everything seemed well-maintained.

Aside from the climbing, they have some large dedicated fitness and yoga rooms with all the traditional equipment (cardio, weights, squat racks etc) you could dream of. And best of all it's right next to improper city, so you can easily fuel up after with a bite/drink. They are eco friendly have have a back rack inside. Staff is friendly and although the day pass is pricier end, you get a lot of value and amenities.

Each month, they do provide discounts on certain programmes for anyone who is interested in climbing. I like to climb with Hubs on the weekends, especially on a Saturday morning when there are a few climbers. But my favorite time to climb is during the weekday mornings or afternoons when this place can just be called "my own sanctuary". During the weekdays especially from 5 pm onwards this place can be jam-packed with climbers alike. Each month and every other month, they do change the routes for climbers to progress in their climbing with different range of climbing difficulties. There is also a place for you to do bouldering as well if you dont have a climbing partner to belay. Even my cousin from Singapore who came for a visit sometime around July/August 2009 was awed about this place. If you want, do give them a try to climb. Call them for enquiries or you can visit their website for details : http://www.rocknandjamn.com/ For those who are new into climbing, they do provide introductory classes with a minimal fee that provides the time you climb, the instructor fee, and rental fee of the equipment.
