I decided to have my daughter attend because she has traveled to most places in the US and to my home land the last couple of years. I wanted COVID to be a positive experience and not coup her up in the house. Since attending DLEC my daughter has learned her basic education her cousins are learning in Kindergarten. My daughter learned so much and worth the experience. I travel from Seatac and sometimes Auburn to drop off and pick her up but it's so worth it. She has even got accepted into her local school without testing to join kindergarten when she turns 4. I'm glad to have her start her education very young. Everyone thinks she's very smart and a fast learner, visually and physically. Also her social skills has improved so much. She's not shy around people and communicate with those when spoken too. Thanks to all the staff for making her beginning education experience so much fun and challenging during these tough time in our lives. I appreciate very single staff!

They made accessing Treehouse resources easy and also gave us great information on resources outside of Treehouse. Thankful for places like Treehouse and for kind, fun, well-informed staff like Jack and Lou (I hope I am remembering names correctly)

The staff are incredibly dedicated and passionate about what they do. Treehouse offers many services to help foster kids have a more stable and normal life. From tutoring and college preparation, to school supplies and clothing, to after school care and summer activities, Treehouse improves the lives of thousands of foster kids and helps meets economic needs that foster parents sometimes cannot. Like most nonprofits, Treehouse can always use help. My (former) workplace ran a clothing drive and then a group of about 10 of us sorted and tagged clothes for the Wearhouse. It was a fulfilling and heartwarming day of service. I would not hesitate to recommend the services this organization provides or suggest it as a nonprofit worthy of your support. See the website for ways to help.

Ms. Patricia is the real deal and what you see is what you get. She is a breath of fresh air and we only hope that her courses are around for a very long time. The etiquette course is something that seems naturally intuitive; HOWEVER, while family values are definitely instilled at home, unfortunately, it is not something that is a universal language in the community. It's nice for kids to be able to come to a place where this is celebrated. Highly recommend!!

The program provides visual aids that are very helpful for me, the courses goes at my own personal pace and there are reviews of previous lessons to assure that I have not forgotten what I have learned. I am thrilled with all the progress I have made. On-line classes through Skype are great, I can learn from the privacy of my own home, there is no commuting involved and they are flexible with days and time. The best part of it all is the price...only $10.00 per hour!!! I would highly recommend Pralingo

I genuinely would NEVER recommend Apex Geometry Honors to anyone. This has easily been one of the…read moreworst and most frustrating online course experiences I've ever had. I paid around $800 for this course, which makes the lack of communication, organization, and timely grading even more ridiculous. Assignments can sit ungraded for what feels like FOREVER. I have waited days and even weeks for things to be graded, which is completely unacceptable when students have deadlines and need grades back in order to move forward. The teachers do not seem to treat the urgency of the course seriously at all, yet students are still expected to meet every deadline on their end. For $800, I expected actual support, reasonable grading times, and a program that felt organized. Instead, I spent an insane amount of time waiting, stressing, contacting people, and trying to get basic things handled that should never have been this difficult in the first place. Paying that much money just to feel like you are constantly chasing people down for help or grades is absurd. If you are considering taking Geometry Honors through Apex, DO NOT DO IT. Seriously, find another option if you possibly can. I would never willingly take another course through this program after this experience. The amount of frustration and stress this caused was absolutely not worth anywhere close to $800. Save your money and save yourself the headache.
