We had our A/C installed about three years ago by another company. Recently, our house was reaching 89 degrees inside even though the A/C had been set to 76 all day. We initially called the company that installed it, and after checking the system for about 30 minutes, they told us everything was fine and that we just needed to change the air filter--which I had already changed only a couple of weeks earlier. In my gut, I knew something just wasn't right. I found Larson on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They were able to come out the very next day. The technician was friendly, thorough, and spent a significant amount of time running tests and inspecting the vents and ductwork in the attic. He eventually found the issue and fixed it! For the first time this entire summer, our house is actually 76 degrees inside! The difference is incredible, and I'm so grateful that he took the time to actually investigate the problem instead of assuming everything was fine. Larson has absolutely earned our trust, and they will be my first call for all of our future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

With so many discount options around time you're better off driving a little out of the way be sure if anything wrong happens this store will not help you. Update: I have been informed that I can drive around on my donut because they don't care. Ended up getting all 4 changed at Costco even though the other 3 tires were purchased less than a year ago. Discount does not honor their warranty and at least this location doesn't give a damn about customer safety.

I'm extremely disappointed that after spending my time and money here, I now have to go back and deal with an issue that should have been caught before I left. This is basic quality control. It's frustrating and inconvenient to have to wait until the next day to get something fixed that should have been done correctly the first time. I'm lucky I live close by, but I can only imagine how frustrating this would be for someone who doesn't. Hoping they make it right, but this definitely wasn't a great experience. To anyone considering coming here--make sure you double-check your tires before you leave so you don't run into the same issue.

Adam is a stand up guy, and his team are thorough and efficient. I contacted Adam at 6am with an emergency situation. AC was completely down and my house was 90 degrees. Adam came over, diagnosed my issue and gave me a few options. Unfortunately my ac unit was 24 years old and suffered compressed failure. It only made sense ti get a new system. He was back before lunch to demo my entire AC/furnace system and begin install in the new. Adam and his team worked until it was complete. The name of his company is exactly what he pulled off, absolutely INSANE. People in the Phoenix area understand how critical having a functional ac unit is in August, and Adam really helped me and my family to make sure we were taken care of. Adam at Insane Air was sent out by my home warranty company and I couldn't have been happier. At a time when it was 115 degrees out and everyone's A/C was going out, he came out the same day, diagnosed the problem, fixed it in less than 15 minutes and was as professional as they come. After another company came out 4 times to diagnose an issue with another A/C unit, I called Adam directly and he again came out that same day, diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes, fixed it and it has been working great since. My wife's employer recommended I use INSANE AIR AZ to get a second opinion when a big name air conditioning and heating company said I needed $5,000 worth of repairs on my HVAC system. Adam Dorris came out and gave me a second opinion for free. He adjusted the refrigerant level which brought down the amperage on my compressor to normal levels. He also washed the coil and replaced bad caps all for free. He told me my system was working as it should saving me thousands of dollars. My sister was very pleased with Adam at Insane Air after her home warranty company sent him out (after very bad experiences with several other companies), so when our air went out, we called him. Despite it being nearly 5:00pm, he agreed to come and have a look. He had both our A/C units (one that had just gone out and the other that had been out for a couple years) up and running by about 8:30pm. What a lifesaver! They came out early next day confirmed the unit needed to be replaced and was able to get a new system installed same week even with all the difficulties of getting a crane, they still got it handled. These guys are incredible! It's Friday August 7th in Phoenix... I out a call to a friend this morning...he was slammed for 6-8 days. Immediately visually noted a burnt wire at a termination on the contactor. Probed contactor switch and confirmed it was non-functioning and needed replacement due to burnt and pitted switch points throughout. Explained probable cause. Replaced the part, cut back and reterminated all wires for tight connections. Confirmed function and amp draws. Reviewed entire unit for any abnormalities. Fixed the immediate problem and did not try to sell new unit. Excellent service. Would recommend.

He even personally called the home warranty company to negotiate the buy-out price on our behalf right on site. We discussed financing options (they have a few). We ultimately decided to replace the entire unit. The installation team came out at 6:30 am, just 48 hours after making our decision. Brian and Oscar were so polite and professional. Once the new unit was installed, they came in and even fixed our thermostat mounting that had come loose. Shortly after the new unit was running...it quit. They came in to tell us the bad news, BUT they had a new unit on the way, and they stayed on-site the entire time. The new unit arrived and was installed quickly. A tech came out to our historical home in April to investigate an attic that was somehow cooler than the home. The tech found tape on our duct work and after taking the tape off, left us with a completely dismantled duct. We were left with the option to pay the company $900 for repairs or be left with no AC. We paid the company, had the repairs done, and were told we would need to repair the remainder of duct work soon. Fast forward 7 months and we asked for a tech to come out to repair the remaining duct work. The tech texted my husband, stating that the fix would be a simple seal and would be quick. He even offered to service our system while he was out, as we pay into Island Breeze's maintenance program. Come to find out, this service tech texted my husband these updates without yet checking out our attic. 30 minutes later, he's pressuring us to completely reduct the entire system and tells us he doesn't have time to service the system. We told him we would need to see a quote before agreeing to anything. We were promised a quote later that evening, but were only sent a $120 bill for his visit. When we called the office to follow up, they seemed confused and said they would need to send another tech out to investigate. A week later another tech comes to visit us. He's ready to start the reduct project. We had to clarify that we were still waiting on a quote. We also asked if there was any other solution, and we were finally given the option to just repair the second half of the ductwork (the option originally marketed to us from the first tech) Another week goes by before we call the office and finally get a quote, $3157 for the reduct without acknowledgement of the $900 we were charged earlier for forced repairs. We asked if we could have a quote for the repair and are still waiting. After several weeks of playing the run around game with Island Breeze, we still have no answers. Honestly, we should have known this company wasn't it after they forced us into a $900 repair in September.
