My original 5 star review from 2015 is still here. But I wanted to update after my visit again today. I bought a new 2025 Bronco in Ruby Red and wanted the two front windows tinted to match the rear. Stopped in to make an appt today, and Jesse was still there and still a great guy. Not overly bright, but a great guy. His other employee thinks he's a gym rat. He's pretty bright, but bores you to tears, so be warned. BUT, all in all, I WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE to get my windows tinted! Jesse was able to have his tint man do the job today, and it makes the ruby red metallic paint really stand out. If you want quality tinting, go nowhere else but Inphase. Fair price and great customer service. I'm thinking I may one day get Jesse's help with some auto sound upgrades, too! read more

I had won a Car Audio - 2-Way Remote Start System with Smart Phone App from the "I Heart Radio" auction. Called on a Thursday and they fit me in on that coming up Saturday. Dropped my car off at 9am when they open and they called me and said it was done at 11:55am! He helped me set up and app and explained the app and new fob to me and answered all our questions! All the guys here are super respectful and have great service, which I've seen while they are dealing with other customers. Jesse also shows me around the shop so I can see what they're working on and all the work they do is absolutely incredible. They used to be my spot to come to for installation, but it hasn't been the same since my guy moved out of state. I've been here a few times for installation over the years but the last couple times had been a shift in attitude. I came in today for a quote to run wires from my factory head unit to an all in sub and amp, around $500. Just to run wires, com on now. The guy I spoke to was just giving me bad vibes. When I came in he was sitting down, as soon as I approached him he stood up far distance from me and that threw me off. Finger tips touching as if he didn't want to be bothered or close to me. I called a few different installers to get quotes. Inphase was about $10hr higher than other competitors but had good reviews. So I figured I'd give them a call. A man named Jimbo answered and said he got a last minute cancellation and got me in same day which was awesome. Upon arrival was greeted pleasantly by jimbo and he gave me a quote that was around the $95hr & also an equipment piece which i would need for my install. This amount was what I expected to pay on checking out. Now they had to do some special work getting the backup camera in and added another installer to get it done towards the end. Is that my problem that he couldn't get it done by himself?! I was not told it would DOUBLE the amount per hour for that time,though he says i was informed?! I guess you just need to assume you know that. The work looked clean except for a big scratch across the faceplate of my in dash dvd player! And upon checking out...the price was almost Double what was quoted. 5 hrs of time for a head unit,4 speakers,2 tweeters a powered sub that lays in there and a backup camera. It was alot of work no doubt. But 4 hrs at $95 and 1 hr at double plus the $80 equipment charge showed on the bill as: 1 hr at $95 and the other hours at $125,$150,150 & $175!!!! Are we speaking a different language when it comes to an hour?!? Can you stack multiple hour and a half work into a single hour over and over?!? I guess so!! And when I called to explain that the charges didn't add up-I was immediately given attitude from Jimbo for saying "I don't think I was charged correctly." Moral of the story is be careful not to take quotes at face value!!!! I know I can get a better price for the same work and probably not have a gash in my dvd face to boot! If you have $$$ to throw at them, great. Otherwise buyer beware!!!! Oh as a side note, not sure if this is indicative of the company or people there, but there was an older gentleman who was 'hanging out' talking to an employee just gabbing. When he was leaving he turned to look at me and then loudly said "Go Trump" to his colleague! They were not talking politics at any point. Could it be my Asian Hawaiian descent?! His comment while ignorant in(meant to be racist?)since he was looking right at me but speaking to the employee might not be indicative of the company's views...but who knows? Now after complaining,I did meet with the owner who after much discussion did want to make things right! And did with a slight refund closer to the quoted price. It was explained to me that the price I paid was a fair price but definitely was under quoted. So we met in the middle leaning a bit in my favor. Also the scratches were actually on a screensaver that had not been peeled off thank goodness. I wanted to be transparent with this as well. I was looking for a place to do an install for me and Ran into someone wearing one of your shirts, so I asked him what the rates would be and just kind of probing questions just to get a feel for the place because he mentioned he worked there, I think his name was Raymond? He said he did a custom car up there and showed me some pics, pretty nice work! But then he got weird! Said they keep him around because "there was a UFC fighter having something worked on and he wouldn't pay his bill, so he had to deal with him!" Now I'm realizing this guy is a joke! About the only thing he could handle was another cheeseburger! So I started laughing and told him they are lucky to have him! What a joke! Perhaps the picture is indicative of what this business thinks about potential customers OR the picture could have been specially drawn for lil ol' me! Either way, if I'm shown the middle finger BEFORE the sale, I can only imagine what I'd be shown after the sale. This is further evident from reading the reviews of Anna M and others. Unlike them, I'm not taking any chances so I chose to do business elsewhere. I even ended up purchasing $500 MORE products and services than the quote they provided! So here's the deal. This is a small business that stands behind their works and treats their customers right with reasonable rates. I have had them work on my car that has had to have both door speakers replaced and they told me it would be much faster and cheaper to buy them from the parts desk at the dealer. Who does that? Terrible service offered by disreputable people. Inphase was tasked to install an automatic car starter for my mom, which was given as a Christmas gift. After the installation, the electronics in the dash board were not functioning, so she took it back. They repeatedly claimed they did nothing wrong, even after being the ONLY PEOPLE TO TOUCH THE ELECTRONICS. My mom sent her car to separate mechanics, one of which was a certified Toyota electronics repairman. After the electrician spent hours correcting Inphase's terrible work and providing them with detailed technical information about the problem, Inphase still refused to take responsibility. Only go to these people if you want service with no integrity and shoddy electrical work that is evident of their failings as car audio technicians. read more

Well for starters came here for new speakers, an amp, and install because a friend suggested it to me. I go here not knowing what brand I wanted or anything, just knowing I was prepared to spend money and wanted loud speakers, and all was fine the guy helped me pick some speakers (I now know they are bottom of the line, but whatever). Told me it was $200 for the install of EACH set of 2 speakers, plus $200 for the amp. I was expecting $600 total in labor which I thought was ridiculous, but was happy to pay someone reliable to do it correctly. After giving these people over $1200, I left disgusted, but had my install appointment booked. When the time comes that I go to pick up my vehicle, its not done and they are about to close so I sit there and wait until its finally ready. The kid who sold me the speakers and install comes over to me and says he, "forgot to charge me for stuff, and its going to be another $200." I literally laughed at him and said absolutely not. I was so disgusted. Like are they just gonna take it all back out if I didn't agree to pay? Then he says, "ok you're right, ill split it with you, ill pay 100 and you pay 100." UM NO. I said HELL no. He then gave my keys and let me leave. The next day I was so pissed, I was looking at my receipt talking to my friend about how expensive it was, and noticed they charged me an EXTRA incorrect $200 at the time of my original purchase!!! Literally charged me for 2 amp installs and 2 speaker installs. NOT TO MENTION HE ASKED ME FOR ANOTHER $200 WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP!!!! Like idk if these people are crooked as hell or just trying to take advantage of a young girl, but I had plenty of things I needed to get done- tint, subs, lightbars, etc. so bummer they are crooks and I can no longer trust to go back. Had to end up calling and getting a refund for the over charge. Overall I am just repulsed by this place and pretty pissed that my salesman thought it was cool to take advantage of me like that. Idk if you work on commission or what but could have made an extreme amount of money off me and all the stuff I needed done if you would have been a honest human. 0/10 and also just straight disappointed this happened especially when someone RECOMMENDED this place to me. Except for a little guy in a ruffled suit carrying some roses. He kept complaining about buzzing sounds in his stereo's audio. I said ya wanna see helicopters I'll show ya helicopters. Have done business with them for years. The last tie I dealt with Jesse, I had purchased a diferent car. Had him reinstall my previous stereo from my previous car into the new one. Had a problem with a buzzing sound on the AM radio. Went back to Jesse said he had no clue and shrugged his shoulders after he charged $50 or $60 to install it, after I had purchased at least two other car stereos from him, along with 3 or 4 different installations that I paid him for. Took it Stereo West Auto Toys on 75th & Dodge. They adjusted my car antenna and the buzzing went away. Jesse from Inphase had no interest in helping me after he got my money. Subsequently, I had another car stereo installed @ Stereo West Auto Toys. They did not charge me for installation, I didnt even buy the unit from them, I bought it used on Ebay. Will never go back to Inphase Audio. read more

I do NOT recommend you take your vehicle to these guys! At least not for a remote starter. I took my Chevy Silverado to them in November and had them install one. Within the same week, I started having problems - the lights all went out on my steering wheel controls, then my steering wheel controls stopped working altogether, then all my dash lights went out! So I called them up and told them I was having problems. They refused to own the problems, blaming it on some work I had done at my dealership several weeks before they put the remote in. (Everything was working fine until the In Phase boys got their hands in it.) I took my truck back to the dealer, they spent an entire day making repairs, said there were splices in the wiring, gobs of electrical tape that didn't belong there, bare wires, and stuff was shorting out. Told me In had a fire hazard in there. I took it back to In Phase to have the remote reinstalled (it had to come out for the dealership to work on it.) because the dealership refused to blame them, said they didn't know who did it. All In Phase could do was blame the dealership. They reinstalled it and when I was leaving that night I noticed my lights were out on my steering wheel controls again! (Everything was working just fine for almost a week after the dealership fixed all the problems.) Well, the next thing that happened was my headlights turned off whenever I shifted into drive, and then my engine wouldn't shut off when I turned the ignition off and removed the key! I called In Phase and told them I wanted it removed and a full refund. When I took it back to get it out, again they blamed the dealership, and also told me my truck has "gremlins", and tried to talk me into keeping the remote unit! I insisted they remove it and refund my money, which they finally did after much arguing. My truck is back at the dealership today because when they removed the remote my steering wheel controls are still dark. But they told me they "returned everything to factory." Yeah, right! My dealer is replacing the steering wheel wiring harness a 2nd time in 2 weeks thanks to In Phase Audio! What a nightmare!!! And I still don't have a remote starter! read more
