In July/August, we experienced a ceiling leak that caused significant damage throughout our home, impacting two bathrooms, the playroom, entryway hallway, and laundry room. After water mitigation and demolition were completed, we were left needing extensive repairs and full remodels of the affected areas. This was our first time dealing with a major home issue, and navigating insurance, contractors, and conflicting opinions felt overwhelming and stressful. I spoke with several contractors and received multiple estimates, but Alan stood out immediately. He was the first to respond and the first to give clear, straightforward, and honest answers. Beyond that, Alan is genuinely such a fun and easygoing person to work with, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. He has a great eye for design and prioritizes top-notch materials while still being realistic and respectful of budget. He guided us through the design process, helped with material selection, and made thoughtful recommendations every step of the way. Marlon and Emmanuel are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and truly kind. They treated our home with care and always took the time to explain what they were doing, which made us feel confident and at ease throughout the process. Fast forward to today, we finally have our home back -- and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not having functional bathrooms and access to certain rooms for months took a toll on our family and our mental health. Click Construction stepped in during a very difficult time and helped restore not just our home, but our peace of mind. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I've attached before-and-after photos so you can see the incredible transformation for yourself. I highly recommend Click Construction to anyone looking for quality work, honesty, and a team that truly cares.

It was the best possible renovation experience. Lauten is competent, meticulously honest, and great at staying in communication throughout the project. Drew and his team finished within our tight time frame, despite the fact that we added an exterior project partway through the renovation. Drew's process worked well for us - a few initial walk-throughs, then he brought in his designer to hear our needs and ideas, and she drew up floor plans while Drew created the detailed budget estimate. We sourced many things ourselves (light fixtures, vanities, tile, etc), and Drew was flexible and helpful during that process. Project manager Lisa is a dream to work with throughout the nitty-gritty parts of a renovation - great at keeping the crew and subcontractors on schedule, and readily responsive to all our texts and emails with questions or minor changes to the plan. Lead carpenter Mike and the rest of the crew were excellent, and had the carpentry skills to do several custom projects as part of the reno that give our home a craftsman feel, including adding built-ins in the closets, making a door for a unique linen closet, an old-fashioned transom window in the bathroom, and a beautiful solid wood shelf in our mudroom. We had a great experience working with Lauten and his team, and plan to use them for our next renovation project soon.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.

Against my better judgement, I decided to use his services for a patio floor and retaining wall and this is when the nightmare started. Service: - Don was consistently late except on days when he needed money. (which he ran out of and I had to purchase supplies in lieu of final payment) - Changed the original plans WITHOUT letting us know multiple times because "he's a artist". - Took a cigarette / phone break every 30 minutes FOR 30 minutes. - Timeline took twice as long to accomplish. - Urinated in bottles on my property in front of neighbors house AND on my ring camera (that's how we knew) - Didn't clean up job site and stored random supplies on my property (that weren't even for my job) - Damaged property / landscape Quality: - Embarrassing poor quality and no where's NEAR what he makes himself out to be. - EVERY SINGLE ledge on the retaining wall came loose, exposing a shoddy wall construction. - Didn't have the proper tools to complete the job correctly. (ex. used a very old blade to cut stone that left swirl marks) - Cuts corners to save money (ex: tried to push old stones on us from a prior job we didn't want) - The job was inspected afterwards and found to be substandard with safety issues. Overall, I would NOT recommend his services no matter how "great" he claims to be and would refer using a more established contracting company for your work.
