    One star for a few reasons:…read more 1. They provided conflicting information. Their staff seems confused and disorganized. I had a specialty prescription that needed to be filled here and they told me it could be filled at a regular pharmacy. I waisted days going in circles to find that the prescription needed to be filled at a specialty pharmacy like this. It was a headache for me, our typical pharmacy, our doctor, and my infant who was in pain. 2. They don't take Cigna insurance. They are also less than helpful with information on getting the insurance to reimburse the cost. They also don't take good Rx or any other discount support. 3. Price - Paying out of pocket they charge more than other specialized pharmacys around. The speciality drug store in Windsor was at least $30-40 less and willing to find creative ways to help decrease the cost. (by $130) 4. Wait time - They called to say our prescription was ready but then we had to wait another 15 minutes for them to mix it when we got there. 5. Lack of awareness - while I'm rocking my sleeping baby in the carrier trying to get in and out as fast as possible the staff approaches me to loudly chat. The awareness that I'm hiding in the corner with a covered baby away from the noisy register should give them a clue. I waited months to post this draft because we needed to come back for refills and I was hoping the experience would change. It didn't. Having a baby with both colic and reflux is hard and the pharmacy didn't make things easy on us. Fortunately the medicine did help so it was all very worth it!

I was hesitant to return to Apria Healthcare…read moreas a provider for my CPAP machine and supplies but did in July 2025 at the recommendation of my sleep doctor, who was ordering a new RESMED AirSense 11 CPAP machine and related supplies. I immediately became suspicious and had a sense of dread in my gut when I saw that Apria had two separate billing to my insurance company for the AirSense 11: One billing of $2565 done on 07-30-25 and a separate billing of $1465 on the same day. When I called Apria to inquire about this, they assured me that it was "normal" and that the $1465 was for the heated reservoir. I told the person that it was not possible to purchase the AirSense 11 without the heated reservoir, and again questioned the second charge. He remained resolute that the billing was correct. (I told him that this, at the very least, bordered on insurance fraud). Fast forward to today. I turned 65 in December and am now on MediCare. I provided Apria with all of the updated insurance information, and was told that in January, new mask, heated hose, and other supplies would be sent to me. Nothing had arrived by mid-February, so I called Apria. A rep on the phone took an order for the needed supplies. A few days later, an automated voicemail from Apria said they did not have all of the documentation they needed, and the order was canceled. It turned out that with the new insurance, that I needed a face-to-face appointment with the sleep doc. We had the appointment and the documentation was sent to Apria. Because the order had been canceled, I had to call back in to request the supplies again. I did so, and again, an automated voicemail from Apria saying the order had been canceled because they did not have the needed documentation. Meanwhile, every month I am getting a bill from Apria for $6.36. I have paid it each month, and it shows zero balance. The rep on the phone cannot explain what it is for. Today is March 30, 2026. I call the Santa Rosa location again and get a call back from somebody who sounds like they are in a call center in the Phillipines. They are of no help, and cannot transfer me to a supervisor. As of today, I am DONE with Apria Healthcare and have asked my doctor to order my supplies from another provider. I plan on reporting the sketchy billing practice from July to the California Department of Insurance for investigation. Stay away from Apria Healthcare! God forbid if I were a patient that needed oxygen to stay alive! I would be dead!

United Access offered for me to come by their location so they could at the very least take a look and see what they could help with. Upon arrival I was asked wait for Erik who was helping another customer. A bit later Erik called to let me know he was slightly delayed. So Laura approached to let me know of his delay. And after talking with her for a few moments she personally took time to walk out to the parking lot to help me herself. Laura walked me through several things and helped me to diagnose the issue and temporarily disconnect the system causing trouble. Her patience, compassion and superior knowledge of the product was wonderful. She understood that I was in a vulnerable state and took time to connect and help me navigate the situation. The problem still needs to be resolved but I can at least safely transport my Mom home from our trip and get to my regular van repair place. She helped to put my mind at ease and restore my confidence in operating the van without the kneeling system until it can be fixed. I am grateful to both Laura & Erik at United Access for going above and beyond with customer service. If you're in the area and need a mobility vehicle or repair I definitely encourage you to call United Access!

Their customer services stinks. A manager did call and apologize and explain they got new staffing but even since her call it is still poor. I paid the co-pay for the wheelchair and they have no record of it. Thankfully I took a screen capture of the online payment. I had to send it to them via email to prove I paid. How insane is that? Now I'm calling weekly to find out when the wheelchair is expected to arrive at their facility. And when you go there...I've been to their facility twice, it's like a ghost town. No receptionist. They never answer phone calls and the place certainly doesn't look busy. What's up? Unfortunately if you're disabled and you're on Medicare, this is the only game in town.
