I've always received excellent service at Sacramento United Access. I bought 4 vans over the years from them, most recently a new van in 2021 - Toyota Sienna with an in-floor ramp. Recently the ramp was giving me trouble, I stopped by the shop early right around opening time. They were able to get me in and get it fixed. Thank you for taking care of your customers. As a single woman who uses a wheelchair, this kind of service means the world to me. read more

I am beyond grateful for United Access. We have a mobility van for my mom and were traveling in the area for a vacation/special event when the kneeling system started to malfunction. United Access offered for me to come by their location so they could at the very least take a look and see what they could help with. Upon arrival I was asked wait for Erik who was helping another customer. A bit later Erik called to let me know he was slightly delayed. So Laura approached to let me know of his delay. And after talking with her for a few moments she personally took time to walk out to the parking lot to help me herself. Laura walked me through several things and helped me to diagnose the issue and temporarily disconnect the system causing trouble. Her patience, compassion and superior knowledge of the product was wonderful. She understood that I was in a vulnerable state and took time to connect and help me navigate the situation. The problem still needs to be resolved but I can at least safely transport my Mom home from our trip and get to my regular van repair place. She helped to put my mind at ease and restore my confidence in operating the van without the kneeling system until it can be fixed. I am grateful to both Laura & Erik at United Access for going above and beyond with customer service. If you're in the area and need a mobility vehicle or repair I definitely encourage you to call United Access! read more

My experience at United Access has just been wonderful. From the start, Tony and whoever I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Tony walked me through everything. I absolutely knew nothing about making such a purchase. I thought any van would work! I had NO idea of the many issues. Had I purchased a vehicle on my own without their expertise, my husband would not have fit in it. My husband's physical size, wheelchair size along with my limitations were all taken into account and lots more. Tony is patient, knowledgeable and continues to answer all of my questions and concerns. Tony brought cars to our home three times. He did this understanding our situation in transporting my husband. Tony shared lots of information always with a smile and a can-do attitude. He made and continues to make himself available. He answers calls, texts and emails promptly. The van we purchased has brought quality and ease to our lives. We are deeply grateful to Tony and the United Access Team. Kathy Piasta read more

I really, really appreciate this place. Purchased and had a minivan modified here, and I am quite happy with the results. I drove up to have a wheelchair fitted for the modifications, of which ended up taking the better portion of a day. They had a nice lounge area to wait in, the facilities were nice, and it was overall a pleasant experience. It is my understanding that modifications are usually done over a span of more than one day, but given COVID, they had someone come out from hours away to get the job done in a single day. Great service!! They then delivered the van to me- I live a couple of hours away! Super convenient. There was a little mishap with the ramp initially, but the workers drove out to pick up the minivan, completed troubleshooting, and resolved the problem in a professional and timely manner. They were super helpful. I feel the work being done at Ability Center is incredibly important, and I am grateful and appreciative to the staff here. Alan was the associate I worked with, and he was responsive, helpful, and professional. He was always easily accessible and willing to help out and answer any questions that arose. Top notch service, and great price point. Overall, I would highly recommend Ability Center for your accessible vehicle needs. read more

United Access - A peek inside. The space was much larger than this, but clean throughout and comfortable. - Mobility Equipment Sales & Services Near Me - Santa Rosa, California

Tony Nava was an excellent rep to work with during our van-buying experience. We have a four-year-old disabled son who qualified for financial assistance from our regional center for a van conversion, and we went with Ability Center because they're local and Tony was responsive, kind, and very knowledgeable. We ended up getting a pre-converted 2022 Honda Sienna and we love it so far. read more

Tony Nava was our assistant and he did a great job of getting us set up with the ideal mini-van. This is our first purchase of a handicap-friendly vehicle so we knew nothing about it when we went in for the first time. Tony set up test drives for us and showed the advantages of different kinds of vehicles. Tony managed to find a Toyota in the Sacramento office that only had 6,000 miles on the clock, so he went there and got it for us. He was never "pushy" on the sales side, and being handicapped himself was able to offer me good advice. These people really know the business, so would definitely recommend them! read more

Tony Nova was are salesman and I could not have had a better experience in buying a disability van. He was great. He walked us through the whole sales from start to finish explaining every thing we needed to know about the car. After we bought it he sat in the car with us and showed us every thing the car could do and answered all of are questions. My power chair was in the shop right after we bought the car and he actually came out to are home and brought the car to us. Best customer service we have received in a long time. Thank you Tony read more

Tony Avila at Ability Center in Santa Rosa was a great help during my husband's recent change to being a wheelchair user and the need for a vehicle in which to transport him. He assisted us in the entire process of checking out the vehicle, purchasing the vehicle and how to properly use the vehicle. The entire process was so easy and smooth. When Tony and his manager came to our home with the vehicle, Tony kindly assisted my husband in moving our of our home, down the sidewalk, into the vehicle, ensuring his wheelchair was properly locked down, and then out of the vehicle and back into our home. I cannot thank Tony and his manager enough for all the assistance during the entire process. Great place and I know we are in good hands moving forward. Thank you Tony! read more

I see most people have had a good experience. Mine wasn't all that great. I went in to have a directional signal left to right adapter put on my car. Cost $270.00. should have been simple, but.. After the install, we found out that after a left turn was completed. It turned on the right directional signal. This became a serious safety problem. (people pulled out in front of me.) Went back for adjustments. The installer called someone for help. Whoever he called, knew of the problem.. Nothing can be done to correct it. Oh well, had to have it removed. That is when the real problem started. The install was done 10/3/18. I called about a refund? I called numerous times. They wouldn't return my calls? eventually somebody answered the phone, and called back.. yes finally! 10/17/18 I was told I would get a refund. Yes, 10/19/18 I got a refund. But, I was Charged $30.00 for restocking fee. Really! When I asked about it, I was told thats a Corp. procedure. So if the work can't be done satisfactory be aware you will be charged for restock fees of the parts. Even though they ordered what they thought were the right parts.. You will pay for their mistakes. I'm revising this review: On 10/19/18 received a call from Corp. they explained that the restock fee IS procedure, but in this case they would refund the restock fee. I give "Ability Center CORP". (5-STARS) for taking the time to contact me and refunding the money. (refund received 10/26/18). $30.00 is not much money, but it was the point and fairness of the situation. Thank you Corp. NOTE: Ability Center's Manager assured me he would contact Ability Corp. about getting the restock refund. He said "I got your back" on this. Later he said it was Corp. procedure and there was nothing he could do. So, I recommend, if you do have a problem, contact the Corp office yourself. read more

Had an excellent experience here! Danny was helpful every step of the way in helping me to make a choice about what I would need to transport my mother's electric wheelchair. From the research and exploring the options to narrowing the choices to make the best choice for us. The installation was perfect and every member of their team was cordial, informed and supportive. I was very impressed with how thoughtful everyone was. Believe me these guys went above and beyond! We not only had a great experience but truly feel we have a resource here for the future. So grateful! read more

We bought a Toyota mobility van for my parents from Bob Monahan and the entire experience from beginning to end was fantastic. He drove one hour each way to show us the van and repeated the drive three times within the course of our vehicle purchase. Even after the purchase was complete, he made a drive back to see us to answer some minor questions. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Bob as he kept his word on everything and made the experience a very pleasant one. I highly recommend Bob and Accessible Mobility Center! read more

Tony was a pleasure to work with in purchasing our van from the Ability Center. Even with the lengthy process of getting regional center funding, I never felt rushed or pressured. They customized the van to our needs and always responded immediately. read more

I did not quite get the same experience others have. Interesting enough, hit and miss. She would not negotiate anything even though other companies have willingly. When you try to negotiate the prompt emails that use to come promptly, totally cease. read more

Best Place Ever !!!!!! I've been using them since they arrived. I used to travel along ways away to get service on my van and even then, they weren't as good as accessible mobility. I get all my service done here for my converted Honda Van. Last week, after years of good service, my van malfunctioned. I was stuck in my van with no way to get out cause the door was struck. Danny and Ben worked with me on the phone and when that didn't solve the problem, I drove to them and they fixed it right there on the spot. They are really smart mechanics and always a fair price. I have total confidence in them !!!!!!! read more
