Understand this was during a time of COVID remodels so we understood things were taking longer than usually and we were trying to be patient but even once demo started, we had an unfinished kitchen for 3 months. All that said, overall we were pleased with the final result, it was what I envisioned for my kitchen and I was initially very happy. I'm writing this review 3 years later because after only a couple years of using our brand new kitchen we noticed several issues. The cabinets are not closing properly, the bottoms of our cabinet and island were not painted, the wrong insert was ordered for our built in microwave (I even asked about this while they were installing and Chris assured me it was correct), pictures attached. This has bothered me so much that now we are going to have to hire someone else to fix it. Overall the craftsmanship is not up to par and when you are paying close to 6 figures for a kitchen remodel I'm really disappointed that I already need to make changes after such a short period of time.

Did I choke at the price? Yes, but 18 months later it's forgotten. They did some custom work the big box guys never could've done. Quality is worth the price and my wife is HAPPY so we got that going. I wanted to get an old 60's sports car but the little lady said we spend 3x a day in here. Let's make it nice. Highly recommend- it's only money.......pics are custom add ons. I'm glad we went here.

We are still having issues, very similar to the other reviews. I have called the owner and left 2 voicemails and he is completely ghosting me. If you want to be able to feel comfortable in your kitchen and not have anxiety every time a splash or spill occurs-then don't go with this company. The cabinet doors and drawers seem to be made out of MDF, which is extremely water absorbent and if anything gets on them even after cleaning it up right away- they will warp. When i called to bring this to their attention, they act as if we take our doors and drawers, and submerge them in water and asked "well, don't you clean the spills up right away?!" I didn't want it to get to this but they are unwilling to help. I don't want this to happen to anyone and I want to warn those who have children, grandchildren or any people who love hosting to look somewhere else.... or you will have anxiety every time you're in you kitchen.

If I had more energy and time, I should have sued them. Instead I'm writing this post so you don't make the same mistake we did. We contacted Design Concepts to come to the rescue. Within a couple hours, we had a callback from Dave. We scheduled a site visit and were impressed enough to move forward with a design. Dave came out a couple days later with a beautiful color drawing that detailed all of our possible options, presented an itemized quote of all the work that would be involved, and gave us a list of 15 references we could call on for peace of mind. We presented this to our town home association board and they were so impressed that they decided we should do the courtyard as well. We signed the paperwork and a few days later Dave and his crew were cleaning up all the weeds, removing overgrown trees and bushes, and trimming trees. Then they installed a beautiful stone walkway, fertilizers, mulch, a wonderful assortment of plants and bushes in the front and flowers in the courtyard. They cleaned up everything and provided us with watering instructions and plans to add to our design for next year. Its difficult to please all members of a town home or condo association but Dave and Design Concepts did the job. We plan on using them for many years for all of our landscaping needs. We also found out they do more than just landscaping and have already begun plans to have them work on the interior of our house. From talking with they're references, this quality of work is par for course in everything they do.

After he was done installing, Dave discussed with me the types of plants used, provided watering instructions and recommendations for maintenance in the fall. After working with Dave it is clear that he is very detailed oriented, has a good eye for design, and is very passionate about the work is company does. I would highly recommend Design Concepts for their professional and efficient customer service and the high quality and beauty of their work. We were very pleased with the landscaping project they did for us and won't hesitate to contact them for future projects.
