The staff was friendly and tried their best as they are always busy. I do appreciate that. I also will give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Lacey ( front desk ) she knows her stuff. She is friendly and always make you feel comfortable about your care. She is the best part of this practice and deserves a raise with how much she does. If you want full details, please continue. I wish I could say I had a good experience with them. I have terrible dental anxiety. I was given extra attention to this at the beginning and slowly it started to be, " no longer offer that service or meds etc." I had 2 cracked teeth that didn't hurt too bad prior to going in and was told I needed fillings. I got them both filled but had to have adjustments over 4 times over a month do " get the right." This process was painful and slow. After 4 appointments I was told they both needed to be root canals. I was told this would a quick and painless process. It was neither of these. I asked multiple times of alternative numbing options as it is not effective for the 2 first times, I completed the filling. I was ignored and told it would be much longer. During all of these visits the machines were down, I was always in longer than 2 hours for each appt even if I was told it will be 45- 1 hour. During one of the procedures where they made a crown the tech dropped it in the trash can on accident (no biggie if he cleaned it). He did not know think I saw it as I was laying the other way. He put it back on the tray without cleaning it. I addressed it immediately. This was with the doctor in the room who also seemed to be okay without him sterilizing the crown before putting it back on the tray with all the other tools or in my mouth... EW. Once addressed said "Oh yes of course we will sterilize it again." however, felt very shady... I am okay to wait for providers and always appreciate their time however this was a constant and was frustrating. Not to mention that I was there 10 times between 2/2025 - 4/2025.... That is a lot of missed work and time to spend on 2 teeth... I would try somewhere else unless there is a huge change in their practice. Also understand that your teeth are covered for them to fix so that is why we keep returning. Just bummed it was my first experience in the metro area.

(Was not broken before root canal) then did an extraction and bone graph (because the infection caused deterioration) the temporaries they put on my roots were uncomfortable and fell out right away. 4000 dollars!!!!!! They acted like they were doing me a favor. I'm getting my new bridge next month and I'll NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!! their incompetence caused me months of pain and suffering. The entire office is pleasant, kind and professional. They put me right at ease. Dr. Connie Lan spoke with me like I was a real human, not just "another" patient. I had my teeth cleaned and they took ex-rays and Kendall helped me every way. No need to any fillings so I can't comment on that but had good news when Dr. Lan shared with me her strategy for keeping my gums strontg and teeth cavity free. I would highly recomment this dentist. They did the final two or three cavity fillings and a crown, and then the partial dentures, both upper and lowers. We were not informed at any point that we might be out-of-network despite providing our insurance information multiple times. We chose this dental practice because it appeared in-network with our insurance before my first visit in March 2025. My husband was also an existing patient from the prior dentist and continued care after the ownership change. We only received a bill for our 2025 visits in December, after we had made multiple visits and therefore incurred out-of-pockets costs without our knowledge. The office initially offered to split the costs 50/50 due to the insurance confusion, but later reversed that offer. Instead, they informed us that we actually had an additional outstanding bill (that they waived as their version of a fair compromise). That did not reflect the original resolution discussed. The core issue was the lack of clear communication about the change in insurance status and how this led to unexpected out-of-pockets costs.

Upon arrival they asked for insurance and I told them that I was paying out of pocket. They then insisted on doing xrays. I told them that I did not want them and they insisted insurance requires it. I again told them that I was paying directly and insurance was not involved. After a few visits they told me that I owed them more money for this cleaning and they billed my insurance. I expressed that I agreed to pay $5,000 and nothing more and if they wanted to bill me for additional services then this would need to have been agreed to in advance. For $5,000 one could assume that a cleaning is included especially because they never told me otherwise. After a year of disagreement on the matter, which led to ongoing conflict throughout the experience, the manager (Jenna) was very rude and her attitude as a leader seemed to be rubbing off on the entire front desk staff. I never agreed to pay additional money but they continue to bill me and even threaten me with collections. The amount is trivial in comparison to what has been paid but the feeling that I have because of this conflict and the ongoing disrespect and stress associated makes me want nothing more than to finish treatment and to never again have anything to do with this organization. I asked multiple time to be connected with the owner and treating dentist about this matter but was denied. I had hoped to express this situation in writing to them but currently have no other avenue than public forum to address this.
