Dr. Boyesen was so gracious, and she even gave them snacks (after okaying it with me), engaged them in conversation, and didn't make me feel bad for bringing them. Not only that, but she was so great, very cheerful, singing to my favorite beloved 80s music, explaining things in great detail so I understood with my limited knowledge what was going on. I left there so happy and with the knowledge that while she could've easily told me I needed a (what I now understand to be totally unnecessary at this point) gum graft and charged me thousands of dollars, she instead reassured me, educated me and filled me with the Knowledge and confidence that everything is ok as of now. i feel exactly the same about their dentists. I have been to many dentists that advise multiple procedures that turn out to be unnecessary (e.g. biannual mouth cancer screenings with a "special light" that costs $180 each in myself who is a low risk patient without smoking history, under age 40 at the time) which is also never covered by insurance. But with Willow Creek, I have never felt like they're trying to scam me. I was sad when they moved to the tech center because I was literally 7 min from their Lone Tree office. But, a good, trustworthy, competent, friendly dentist is hard to come by and as far as I'm concerned, they can move to Paris and I'd still remain their patient because there aren't many out there like them.

This was after visiting my dentist in NC for years with no cavities. The previous dentist did a poor job on 1 crown and subsequent root canal. Dr Jones was recommended by my son's dentist. She looked and said we could hold off on the rest of the crowns but we had to get that botched root canal fixed! She referred me to an endodontist to correct. She and her team take time to get to know patients and explain what they are doing. Highly recommended!

So I missed the gym this morning for this, to then also not get my appointment either. If it was once, then not a big deal. But, they cancelled my fiancée's appointment last minute, rescheduled it, then cancelled it again last minute. This seems to be a trend and not a one-off occurrence. Based on my call with the office this morning, it sounds like it is under new management. Not sure if new management is the problem or if it's just growing pains of that. Either way, we will be finding a new dentist that can honor their scheduled appointments and can communicate in a timely manner if changes are needed.

Between moving from Arizona to Colorado, parenting a toddler, and having a new baby in November 2015 - I haven't had regular dental care. We found a great pediatric dentist for our son, and was referred to Dr. Freeman by his dentist. I'm so glad! The initial phone call was literally the best customer service I've experienced in ages (I work in customer service, so my standards are pretty high). Lisa was competent, warm, friendly and efficient. She scheduled my husband's appointment and promptly followed up with an email of new patient paperwork. Lisa also understood that my appointment would coincide with the birth of my second child, and made a note. Sure enough - I missed my first appointment due to the arrival of my new kiddo, and she helped me reschedule. The new appointment wouldn't be for a couple of months, but she offered to put me on the cancellation list - a way for me to be seen more quickly. Sure enough, an appointment was available the very next day - but I was stuck with both boys at home (2.5 years old and 3 weeks old!). She was very understanding and said it would be fine to bring them with me. Amy (my hygienist) was fantastic - I was due for a ton of new X-rays and she was very good - taking time to explain what our next steps were and my course of treatment after my cleaning. During this time, we had to rein in my toddler a couple of times (he did so well, but got bored a couple of times and wanted to walk around)... and of course, my newborn woke up during my cleaning. Lisa didn't even hesitate - she offered to hold my youngest son while we finished my cleaning, and even walked my oldest back to the waiting room to play with the toys. Insert my googly-eyes here. I was already nervous and worried about this whole experience, but Amy and Lisa went way beyond. They treated us like family. Dr. Freeman was also amazing. Very professional and friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I had no anxiety working with her (a problem I've had with dentists in the past) and look forward to my next appointment in the summer. After all this - my youngest son actually woke up and wanted to nurse. I don't mind nursing in public, but Dr. Freeman offered the use of her office to us. This way I could be comfortable, and my oldest son could sit with us. Again - incredible treatment of us like family. I'm so thankful we found Dr. Freeman and her team!

She said I had advanced periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning. Needless to say I was distressed at this news and got a second opinion. Turns out I have a mild case of gingivitis that is completely reversible. I am concerned she is treating other patients like me. I would skip this practice and find another.

I called and spoke with Vivian who was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. She took all of my information and got me booked all in the span of 2 minutes. Two days later, I had my first exam/teeth cleaning (the last place I went made me split up x-rays and cleaning into two separate days!!). 1) The decor is beautiful. I feel like I'm hanging out in an upscale living room. She also has a bunch of great NEW magazines and books stacked up for you to read while you wait. (Although there wasn't much of a wait... BONUS!) 2) The examination room is clean with a big window for you to look out at the Rocky Mountains. My last dentist had no windows and broken equipment. Dr. Ambida's office had top-of-the-line, well-taken-care-of equipment. 3) X-rays were done efficiently with no discomfort. 4) Dr. Ambida came in and did the cleaning. She was SO NICE and really gave me great information about what was going on with my teeth; alternative solutions to keep my teeth healthy (chew gum with Xylotol in the first 3 ingredients-- it promotes saliva which makes gum-chewing easier on your teeth); and she genuinely cared about my health, comfort, and happiness. She is sharp, relatable, and great at her job. Also, my mouth feels super. 5) I had to get a filling re-done (Sigh... my jangly dentist from before did a hack job). She scheduled me for the next business day. Her assistant had amazing attention to detail-- my mouth feels wonderful. They also communicated with me and let me know exactly how I would feel the next day. (Sore jaw from the shot, tender gums, etc..) I experienced a little of it, but not much. My mouth feels great. And, as dorky as it sounds, my SOUL feels great from finding such an amazing dentist. I've even convinced my husband, who hates dentists, that Dr. Ambida will change his life.

Insurance pays the negotiated fee, if this dentist wants more than the negotiated fee then don't take my insurance. My daughter was charged double what she was quoted! The office staff was rude and condescending when questioned about the additional billing. Their billing incompetence to get insurance estimates correct should not be the patients responsibility. This difference should be a write-off to the dentist and a wake up call to get staff that can get the insurance quotes correct the first time.

I have THE BEST hygienist I could possibly imagine now. Amy takes her time, connects with me emotionally, senses when I'm feeling anxious and stops. On my first appointment, I had the sedation options explained to me and I started with laughing gas, though if needed, I could take prescription meds or they will even put you out under anesthesia to do your dental work. For me, I use the gas, lay under a comfy blanket with headphones and DirecTV on. It's a great environment and so very loving. I've progressed to not obsessing about my appointments, I'm able to sleep the night before and I don't cry anymore. I love Meadows so much that I referred my husband, who doesn't have a problem getting his teeth cleaned here. He didn't like his former dentist and tried Meadows (again- LOVE Amy!) and saw what I meant. We do not live close to Meadows- I'm up by the airport and it's in HR, but I will drive wherever for this type of care.

Despite this, the original practice has refused to offer any kind of refund or resolution to help cover the cost of correcting the failed treatment.
