The staff here are absolutely wonderful. I was hesitant to switch my care from their sister office in Arvada, because they had taken such good care of me. But when I had to be seen urgently, my Arvada team guided me to this office since it is up the street from work. They got me in right away, and were absolutely wonderful. I just went back yesterday to get my roo6t canal and crown placed, and it was a great experience. I had intense pain at the beginning due to extra inflammation around the tooth, and they were so great in calming me and making me more comfortable. I decided to switch my care over because they are so great, and I am glad I did, even though i'll miss the old team as well! read more

I had an appointment scheduled and was in the car driving to this appointment when the office called me 10 minutes before my appointment to tell me they had to cancel it because the doctor called in sick. I had scheduled this appointment in advance as it was the earliest time that worked with my schedule. I also had to adjust my morning to attend this appointment. So I missed the gym this morning for this, to then also not get my appointment either. If it was once, then not a big deal. But, they cancelled my fiancée's appointment last minute, rescheduled it, then cancelled it again last minute. This seems to be a trend and not a one-off occurrence. Based on my call with the office this morning, it sounds like it is under new management. Not sure if new management is the problem or if it's just growing pains of that. Either way, we will be finding a new dentist that can honor their scheduled appointments and can communicate in a timely manner if changes are needed. read more

I had scheduled a routine cleaning and exam for my husband and I several months ago. This would be our second appointment with Dr. Grey. We confirmed our appointments a week prior and even reached out to the office to update information and confirm again. We show up and were told that our appointments had been canceled. The reason? The doctor had "Some classes she needed to take." and has decided "to leave at 3 pm every day." Why weren't we notified? "Oh bummer someone must have forgot." I've been nothing but pleased with this office, both for myself and my kids. We've all been patients for about 10 years, and my oldest is now in braces as well. We've had extractions, a root canal (me, not the kids lol), braces, cleanings, emergency visits, fillings, crowns, the works. These folks really make me feel at ease (which is hard to do - years of dental anxiety have started to wane after their kind, patient, friendly treatment. The front desk staff is helpful, they offer early and late appointments for folks with jobs or school, and they often ask at the beginning of the appointment how soon I need to get back to work (if it's during the work day). They've worked with us on numerous treatment plans and have managed to keep my kids from the kind of dental anxiety I've always prayed wouldn't rub off on them. Very disappointing with Warranty process for my Crown tooth. * When we called, the reception said, I can go in and fix my tooth as it still under 5 years warranty. * I made appointment with them * Once I got there, The assistant nurse look at my tooth, my file and said my warranty still cover the damage. * Then the office manager came in and said I didn't come in for the last 6 months and warranty can't be apply in this case. * I asked for a reference contract or agreement about the 6 month clause but they couldn't show it to me. * I decided to leave and wanted to share my experience here so anyone else don't have to go through what I have faced. * If I would have known about their excuse to not honor my warranty, I wouldn't need to go there and wait for 1 hour and do not get anything done. read more

My family and I have been coming here for more than a decade and have referred numerous others to this practice. We couldn't sing their praises enough with fantastic, friendly and competent staff all around. Unfortunately, staff, dentists and management have changed several times leaving this practice with much to want. We've tried to have patience through their "growing pains", however taking 5 trips to the dentist for 1 tooth in a matter of 4 weeks was truly unacceptable and showcased their incompetence, lack of communication and poor customer service (specifically from the current manager Allie and an incredibly inexperienced new dentist Dahliwal). I have only left one other negative review in my entire time "yelping" and feel saddened that when I tried to express my concerns to office manager Allie she did not make me feel like a valued customer, quite the opposite in fact. Do not go here.. they were trying to give my 7 year old a root canal on a baby tooth along with fixing 2 other baby teeth that did not need any treatment. Got a second opinion and new dentist said there were no issues. Also overcharging for cleaning services is a common practice here. Can cost over $500 for a cleaning once they up charge you for, fluoride, laser treatment, and flushing. Along with the rude front desk person that told me I don't know how to talk to insurance companies when I was questioning their outrageous estimate to fix my Bridge. DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!!! DO NOT GO HERE. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. I can't believe what the new ownership and staff turnover have done to this practice!! My family had been patients here for years. I left this practice when the new dentist told me I had one cavity that had been present from my previous exam 6 months earlier (when I had been told my teeth were perfect and I had "excellent oral hygeine"). As soon as I let them fill my (ahem, fake) cavity, then, oops, I suddenly had a 2nd one from 6 months earlier that also needed fixed. What a scam!!! I pulled my children's dental care for the same shady tactics. We've been with another provider since and have YET to have a cavity filled. We mistakenly returned for JUST orthodontia care because we loved Dr. G. Unfortunately, he left right before Covid. My child has been attending all of her visits ALONE due to Covid. The new orthodontist has YET to return a phone call!!! I have been told repeatedly that my daughter can be done with braces, but at every visit (that I can't attend) this endpoint is only prolonged. I have been leaving messages with everyone at this clinic for FOUR weeks straight and have had TWO appointments cancelled. I still can't get a SINGLE call back to discuss my daughter's care. I can't believe I'm going to have to pay all over again for someone else to REMOVE these braces and give my daughter a retainer - because Lone Tree cannot return a phone call or schedule an appointment. I echo what Jordan W said. I scheduled a cleaning today and was told I needed a full mouth x-ray. The technician was polite but didn't know the equipment and had to make several attempts before a more experienced technician showed her how to do the x-rays. She then tried to take my blood pressure but couldn't figure out the simple machine I then saw Doctor G who poked around my mouth and told me I needed a deep cleaning, requiring her to numb me and take my crown out. I declined and said I just wanted a normal cleaning. She left and the same, inexperienced technician came in, polished and flossed my teeth, and said your done. I have been coming here for several years and have decided to find someone else. This is the second time I have come in for a teeth cleaning and didn't get my teeth cleaned. They do the exam (x-rays and gum exam) then come in with a list of treatments you need. They have overcharged me and I just received the last of the refunds they owed me. Hiring and training the staff is imperative to running a solid business. Not worth it - steer clear. We've been going here for years but they've really come apart recently. Its shocking they're still in business. Recently they discovered that nobody had been billing insurance for ortho work, so if you wanted to move to another facility nobody would see you because your account was a disaster. It took them forever to fix because it involves so many patients AND their corporate owner had no way to speak to a human ... even for the office manager! So kids were stuck in limbo with half done ortho. The ortho side cant keep a schedule, but there's no more after school hours which is nuts when you care for teens who need regular treatments. Once they just forgot to order my son's expander so we went to an appointment and they were completely confused why we were there. The dental side is just as bad. I had a cracked tooth that the dentist missed on multiple visits and she crowned it instead. She then missed the crack AGAIN when I came in with a full blown infection (which she told me was probably just inflammation from my cleaning). She swore it wasn't cracked. Sent me to another dentist because she couldn't treat me immediately, that dentist did one 30 second test and told me it was cracked. The infection was brutal. They hired a new office manager and the old doc sold the place, so maybe they will improve. But there's lots of good dental offices out there that won't leave your kid in limbo with half done braces because they can't bill, or miss cracked teeth. Steer clear. read more

I read all the reviews on Yelp and was a bit worried about utilizing this dental office. However, after having a few visits, here are the things I am very pleased with, so giving them a good review: very clean and high tech office. It was really easy to schedule online for my first appointment. Dr. Lam provided honest and candid feedback on status of 2 troubled teeth. They quickly got me scheduled for work that needed to be done (tooth pain = problems!). The specialists that they bring in every week provided an easy transition from general dentistry to more specific procedures. Dr. Hong and Dr. T provided excellent skills for root canal and tooth extraction. Terrence at the front desk answered all of my questions on pricing for each service provided and how that compared to my dental insurance benefits. Very friendly and efficient group. Worst dental visit of my life and I did not even have a cavity. The hygienist was rude and condescending. She asked me questions about my oral hygiene routine and then made a questioning face when I answered, as if she did not believe that I regularly brush and floss even though I had zero cavities. I felt beyond uncomfortable interacting with her. I was not clear on what she was attempting to explain to me and when I asked her for clarification she got very agitated and said, "I'll go get the dentist, you can talk to her", Enter Dr. Lam. She appeared annoyed for having to speak to me. She was brief and not at all sensitive to the fact that I was concerned and not understanding what exactly the hygienist has been looking for and measuring in my mouth. Finally she got to the point and told me the hygienist had been measuring the spaces in between my teeth for signs of bone loss or gum deterioration. She told me that I would need laser treatments every 3 months and that my mouth was in really bad shape. She also told me that the office offers Invisalign if I wanted my teeth to be more straight...my teeth are VERY straight. This made me immediately skeptical of her motives. So I am told I need a lot of dental work and my insurance will cover all but $650. I didn't even get a cleaning. I got a second opinion. The dentist told me I had excellent oral hygiene and I had a very pleasant cleaning from the friendly hygienist. Lone Tree Dentist's had atrocious bedside manner and recommended unnecessary, expensive dental work. Avoid this office! read more

As a former dental assistant, I know that a dental hygienist is specifically trained for preventive care such as scaling teeth, taking measurements for gum pockets (Periodontal Charting) and polish. I knew working with dentists that dentists don't like to clean teeth. This place does not have a hygienist. Yet, I came here anyway and had a lousy experience. Dr. Mandalaywala pressed so hard on my gums when performing Periodontal Charting. I have never had a hygienist press so hard. Dr. Mandalaywala tried to tell me I had pockets greater than 3 mm so she would have to do root planing. I knew what that was and asked her if she was saying I had periodontitis. She said I signs of periodontitis. I again asked her if I had periodontitis and she said pockets greater than 3 mm were at risk of bacteria being beneath the gumline. I told her I had worked as a dental assistant for several years and knew what she was talking about. Her whole demeanor changed and she said it could be monitored and looked at again in 6 months. And then! The dental assistant did a portion of the scaling of my teeth! I was Shocked! I thought that a dental assistant couldn't do scaling. I asked Dr. Mandalaywala about it and she said, in Colorado, an assistant can. I'm still not sure whether they can or not, but I should have got up and left right then and there! I used them back in February (before the world shut down) because they were the only place that my insurance accepted. I felt that I was scammed and lied to and told I would have to get 3 root canals. They filled the 3 cavities I had with them potentially leading to root canals. I've never had a cavity in my life. I ended up getting 1 root canal as a preventive and went elsewhere for a second opinion. The fillings that they did do we're done wrong and I had to get them fixed by another dentist. I came here before when it was previously owned by a male doctor. The ENTIRE atmosphere is completely changed and changed for the better! The staff are all very kind and helpful when it comes checking in an what to expect during your visit. Dr. Lam is amazing she really takes the time to get to you know and let you know the why to something needing to be done. The girls in the front are great, I really enjoyed how they make you feel welcomed and will actually sit and have a conversation with whereas most doctor offices just say hi sign in here and wait to be called.... I really appreciated all the help that Courtney & Megan gave me along with the laughs! I am very glad that I came back to meet the team! I was a customer here for several years. The business seems to be looking for every way they can bill customers more. Before I left, they suggested I needed dental surgery on my gums. I left and went to one of the top rated dentists in the area, and she was not concerned about my dental health or even suggested the need for surgery. My Smile Generation Account was charged over $800 for a procedure that was never done. Was going to have my daughter's wisdom teeth removed; however, upon arrival, and waiting, they ultimately did not have any oxygen, so appt was canceled. Was going to reschedule, but had to cancel due to COVID. However, our Smile Generation account was charged the full amount for the procedure. I've called at least twice over the past two weeks asking someone to take care of the charge; however, do date we still are getting daily calls and texts from Smile Generation wanting their money....for something that was never done. They even tacked on a late fee. Not Smile Generation's fault since it was the dental office that placed the charge on our account. I've told Lone Tree Dentists that we do not intend on having the procedure done at their office in the future. I'm not aware of it being common practice to charge someone for a service that was never rendered. read more

Dr. Lam is always very thorough and does a great job at making him feel comfortable as he has always feared dentists. Had a very odd experience here recently. Was moving and needed to get in one last cleaning before I left. I'll start by saying that it was over a year between cleanings; I put my last one off when I was pregnant. After X-rays, I was taken into the room expecting to wait for a tech to start my cleaning. After waiting at least 30 mins, I flagged someone down asking what was taking so long. The doctor came in, which I thought was odd since the doctor usually comes in after the cleaning. Long story short, the doctor and her assistant (who gave me a flossing lesson) tried to talk me into a deep cleaning that of course would run $200+ out of pocket. What should've been a fairly quick afternoon weekday appointment turned into an over two hour visit. At the end I basically had to beg for a cleaning, and they acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me a quick cleaning, Even though that's what I had made my appointment for. My family and I have visited this dental practice for a few years and the story is always the same: trying to up charge you for something. read more
