My construction shop runs about seven trucks on the road six days a week so we get into a few accidents. Thankfully the other side was also Korean so we decided to fix the car out of pocket and not engage my commercial insurance plan (would have raised my rates around $30k). They fixed everything like brand new, and also handled everything the proper way. Removed all the windows and parts, replace all the clips, and fixed the car with authentic parts. My GMC was making a noise when driven not even 10mph n you could hear it. I took it to the dealership Felix Chevrolet in Figueroa to get it diagnosed. Was charged $310. Report stating I had to replace the vacuum plate, rotor and breaks estimating a cost of over 1,891.36. I took this report to Janet asking for help in ensuring it was the issue. She drove it in matter of seconds she figured out it was the braking plate that was bent. Taking longer to take off the wheel than to fix the bent plate, It saved me so much time and money. These people are life savers! I had a head light out on my Honda Civic and it's hard to replace and you need special tools to get to it. I go to Honda DTLA and they said it would cost $100 and maybe 3 hours or so. Even with me providing the replacement light bulbs. I said forget that and I called this place, they answered in Spanish ( a good sign) if you ask me. Then , I told the nice lady on the phone, Janet, my situation. She said she can do it for $40! I said great! Plus, that I could bring it in about 1.5 hours since her mechanic was about to go to lunch. I get there at 1 pm and her mechanic replaced in like 10 mins or so. Easy and painless. Markus King is the MAN. This is a husband and wife owned business. An independent, family shop. They like to help the community and aren't out to rip people off. Not greedy - just good people! I came in here Monday after a badly constructed City of LA (go figure) curb scratched up my car. It had a crazy chunk of concrete sticking a good 8" out into the road/parking space, gouging up my door while I was parking. In order to file a claim with the city, I needed an estimate. Innovative was the #1 result on Google for collision. Gave Markus a call, he was friendly and told me come on down. Although I'll be fighting with the city for some time for full repair, I needed a temporary (and cheap) solution as I want to look halfway presentable for my customers/work. Markus gave me the straight breakdown of my options, eventually we settled on some touch up paint just to hold me over until the big fix. Markus gave me a CRAZY low price, like so damn low I had to ask him to raise it up because I felt like I was robbing the guy As it is he waived the estimate fee, what a classy guy. Good businessman. Bottom line up front: Janet and Markus with their crew absolutely crushed it. We came in with some scratches on the front bumper of our Tesla that we wanted painted over. Tesla was quoted us a price to have the entire part replaced, or told us to buy a paint kit to repaint it ourselves.
