Jenn is FABULOUS. I had such a wonderful experience with her. She is so talented, sweet, and professional. I had a genuinely good time while I was there! For the tattoo process specifically- Jenn has a light hand and was super attentive to my comfort level. She made me feel so comfortable to ask to change positions to get more comfy or to take a quick break. The environment of the shop in general is so friendly and all the other artists were super cool and made me feel right at home. And of course, for the tattoo itself- it is easily my favorite out of my 25+ tattoos. Jenn's style, line work and coloring work is incredible. I am absolutely in love with this piece and I get compliments on it basically daily. I cannot wait to come back and get more from her!

I've been a returning customer, after initially finding this shop about a year or so ago. I've used artists Sandy and Lucas. Both who are personable and do amazing work. I stopped in today for touch ups on both my left and right hand from Lucas, as well as a few smaller additions to my hands, back of ear and bicep. The shop as always, is clean and all of the artists are extremely welcoming. If you're looking for your next tattoo, this is the place to go to! I wouldn't hesitate to get work done by any of their artists! They do take walk ins, but it's best to do a consultation and set an appointment date as they can get pretty busy. Don't hesitate to stop in! Only good vibes here.

Parking lot clear, obviously due to covid. Walked in and waited due to customers before me. Every artist had someone in their chair. Open stations, neat and CDC guidelines in order. Mauricio is a gem! This is the second tattoo (cover up) I had done by him and i was not disappointed. His work is very impressive. He is very professional and also makes you feel comfortable while getting tattooed. He constantly checks with you to see if your doing okay while getting your piece. I came in here for just a consultation last week and I couldn't even get a tattoo. There's a reason none of the reviews are new. The shop sucks ass now . I talked to David (I think his name was) and he was generally standoffish and said everything to say my idea was stupid. He wouldn't put forth any ideas or any input just said my idea was simplistic and he didn't understand what I wanted when I came in with clear reference photos and a clear idea. He so obviously just didn't want to do the tattoo. I went elsewhere with much better energy and got a tattoo I'm actually happy with with an artist who was actually eager. The sad thing is I've been here before when there were completely different artists who were genuinely creative. This shop has gone down the drain. read more

Husband and I walked in around 4pm (Friday 8/30/19) and we were greeted and helped promptly! I explained what I wanted to the artist (I believe his name was Lucas) and he began working on the stencils immediately. My husband wanted his knuckles tattooed and another employee explained how they might fade and was very thorough in mentioning everything related to a touchy area like that. After consideration, he decided to go ahead with the tattoo. For me, I got a really nice flower branch and a quote all done in red ink and I can't be happier! :) my tattoo came out more amazing than I could've thought. Same with my SO's! The shop is immaculate and very well lit. Friendly workers as far as I saw and very knowledgeable tattoo artists. We were gone within 2 hours! The whole process was a breeze! I've been looking for a local shop and this place is by far one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to and I used to live in Vegas. Really clean shop layout, friendly staff and the artists are legit. Vitor is the man. He's done 3 pieces on my sleeve and I am extremely happy with the results. Damien is the only person I'll have tattoo me, he is by far the most focused on your happiness with your tattoo, giving advice on artistic design/flow on the skin itself, your pain levels, etc, etc. I've never met someone with his level of skill set that didn't come with a massive ego and bill on top. For the quality of tattoo you will be getting, he honestly should charge more but if you get just one tattoo from Damien, be prepared because you wont want another artist after he works his ink magic. read more

I could not have picked a better place to get my first tattoo. I never felt uncomfortable, never felt like I was forced to compromise in any way, and never once felt like I was out of place. The tattoo itself is perfect and done with the skill and precision anyone could ask for. Recently visited LA and my last day there I went to #InnerLightTattoo. I was greeted by Lucas as soon as I went in. I called prior to going and he informed me that he was free so I went right away. He was very helpful in the process, and placed the tat perfectly! His price was very affordable! His game is tight with that needle. The place was beautiful inside and very clean and neat, also very spacious, and quiet. I recommend Lucas be your guy when you go to get a tat. First time going to Innerlight Tattoo and it was a great experience. Upon entering the shop, the staff were responsive and attentive. I met Dave and showed him a picture of what I wanted: a lotus flower to add to an Om tattoo I already had on my shoulder blade. When I went in for my actual appointment, he was professional and communicative. When he was applying the stencil on my back he made sure it was positioned correctly and didn't rush through it at all. He also told me he was going to retouch my Om tattoo that was already there to make it thicker so that it blended in better with the lotus flower I was getting. I appreciated him communicating that to me and his artistic input to make sure my tattoo looked even better. He checked in with me throughout the tattooing process to make sure I was doing okay and I really appreciated that because, man, I forgot how painful getting a tattoo can be if you don't have a high pain tolerance. I am very pleased with how my tattoo turned out! Would definitely recommend this place to others. read more

i went as a walk in and the experience was extremely lack luster. the tattoo overall was okay, but the judgement and technique was horrible. the tattoo artist was rude , kept upping the size to charge more and overall just was not a good experience. i now am waiting for my consultation to have it lasered off. read more

Having traveled the world and attended many tattoo conventions, Onizuka feels like a step above the rest. Really enjoy the studio setup, as it can feel as private or as open as it needs to be. Everyone here is super friendly, and the artists are all exceptionally unique in their styling and executions. When you're hours deep into a session and the pain is really starting to set in, it's good to have access to plenty of beverages, food and ammenities to ease back into comfort. The music is never overbearing or too loud like some shops, and it really feels like a second home. I'm getting work done by Jiro but all guys here do quality work and have their own way of doing tattoos.

The tattoo is on the rib cage and everybody around was telling me how painful is, so I shared this with David. He explained is different from person to person and in the end for me was not painful rather a bit unpleasant. Overall was a great experience for me and my first tattoo. I decided to give myself my first tattoo last year. I searched for a tattoo parlor nearby with good Yelp reviews and found Innerlight. I went there on December 2nd, had my tattoo, and paid $600 for it. After almost 30 days of recurring pain and no signs of healing (following all directions that were given to me), I went to 2 different dermatologists and started using some prescriptions but nothing seemed to work. Now, almost 60 days later, I found out that the tattoo artist went too deep into my skin leading to weird bumps and wrinkles (besides the constant pain). To Innerlight credit, they offered to redo the broken parts of my tattoo (it looks pretty bad) but, from what I researched with dermatologists and other tattoo experts I'll never have my skin back to normal since now it's just a big scar in my arm. The experience was frustrating and regretful. read more

If you like getting a stress free tattoo then Innerlight Tattoo is your ideal place. I have been to many other tattoo studios and been met with rude workers. This is not that kind of place at all!! Every person I have met that works there is amazingly compassionate, and made me feel comfortable. I love the atmosphere that Innerlight Tattoo is cultivating. I had been wanting to get a memorial tattoo for my horse I had for 20 years. I knew I wanted a tattoo artist that would understand how important this horse was to me and would create a tattoo that reflected his importance in my life. I have forearm tattoo's that needed a little cleaning up and I wanted to add powder shading, Damien hooked me up, exactly what I was looking and check this out-Damien even give's you instruction's on how to care for your tattoo, being old school I was taught to take care of them differently but with the new ink's and all thing's have changed. I have had two tattoos done by Damien and they have come out better than i could have ever expected. He is amazing at getting your idea into a perfect tattoo. Hes super helpful with getting the drawing to what you want and hes just all around a great guy. The new shop is so nice and clean and i didnt feel like i was too close to other tattoo artist which was nice. I wouldnt go to anyone else! I have been to innerlight twice now. My first encounter was amazing. Nico is a wonderful artist. The shop is clean and everyone is so nice.
