The tattoo is on the rib cage and everybody around was telling me how painful is, so I shared this with David. He explained is different from person to person and in the end for me was not painful rather a bit unpleasant. Overall was a great experience for me and my first tattoo. I'm ready for the next one and I think I'll head to Make Luck Tattoo in the next days.

Came again yesterday with my sister, my hubby, and my best friend to get a Friday the 13th tattoo. My hubby ended up changing his mind and not getting anything but stayed and endured the excruciating 9 hour wait just to get to our turn. Doors opened at 11am, we were there at 10:30am and didn't get tatted until about 8pm but I guess that's expected when you're wanting a $20-$40 tattoo. The business also had a food truck which was definitely a nice treat. We all decided to get tattooed by Juan, his IG handle is @tat2frel and he was just great to say the least. His work was impeccable and he worked with me on placement and lining until I was satisfied as I had it on the side of my wrist and the tattoo lining looks different as I twist my wrist. He was patient and didn't mind taking it off and on to make sure I was happy. And I was definitely happy with the end results. He has a really light touch and didn't feel his whole weight on me while tattooing and just an all around pleasant guy. He also remembered me from a few years ago when I brought the business a case of beer at the end of the night, thanking them for their hard work and willingness to still take us. They are definitely sweet people. I asked about touch ups and things of that sort, he told me he doesn't like to do them but sometimes he will. lol I'm definitely trying to get him to work on some of my stuff cos I really like what he is capable of. My sister and my best friend loved what they got as well. It was my best friends first tattoo and god bless Juan for dealing with my indecisive sister from hell. lol she can literally be a nightmare when it comes to stuff that she wants and he just took it all in with ease. My husband passed away six months ago, and I wasn't sure yet if I wanted to add something small alongside it--something subtle that felt like "us," without taking anything away from the signature itself.
