My insurance at the time covered each visit but I had a $10 co-pay. Whenever we got a bill, my wife would always send them a check the same day. Then one day we started getting calls from a collection agency, apparently one $10 payment got lost or they lost it. AGAIN, the amount owed was $10!!! No second bills, nothing, just collection agent. I went through all my bills and we had proof they were all sent but they were $10 short. I spend HOURS and HOURS tracking all the information down and FINALLY they removed the payment. We never figured out the original problem.

I've only ever had two staff members draw my blood, both of them have been efficient, pleasant and enjoyable. It's easy to park and get into their office and they have live local people who answer the phone when you call customer service, which I also appreciate. I usually book my own labs directly on their website, which is easy to navigate and also to download results from. They usually have some kind of monthly discount special also for cash pay clients. I would choose to have my blood drawn here over any other lab I've ever been to in my 40+ years on this earth.

I can honestly say that I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience. I only had to wait about 8 to 10 minutes, which is no big deal. They were extremely friendly when I walked in. Honestly even the other people in the waiting room were very nice to me. I told the young man that was going to do my blood draw that I sometimes have a bit of a reaction when I get my blood drawn and he was so understanding, gentle and kind. He chatted with me the entire time and made the experience so much easier. I lived in Boston for a long time and I've gotten my blood drawn at Mass General Hospital many times. I would say that LabCorp did just as good of a job as the best people that ever drew my blood at that hospital. Really excellent experience and I think they've gotten some pretty inaccurate reviews. As a walking I had to check in at a kiosk. The first time didn't take. The second time it didn't take. Finally the young lady at the window said she'd sign me in manually but I'd have to wait for her. She should have done this after the first time. After sitting for @20 with no help from her, I left. And only 3 HOURS later did I get email confirmation of both of my check in attempts. Nonsense. No help whatsoever. She was zero accommodating despite the faultiness of the kiosks.

Second, it would also be nice if the front office actually listened to their patients. At my last visit, the wait was unusually long for this facility and I overheard this encounter. JP (Joe Patient): Hi, I'm Joe Patient. My doctor was going to fax over my order. DL (Doesn't Listen): What's your name? (JP repeats his name, DL thumbs through files) DL: I don't see anything, do you have your insurance card? JP: (confused) Yes, but what do I do about the order? DL: I have the order here. JP: (confused again). Here's my card. I was last in on 8/12. DL: Have you been in before? They also had this ridiculous policy where you had to provide a credit card for any balance after insurance, but they would only charge it a maximum of $15 and bill you for the rest. Either bill me for it all or verify my benefits ahead and collect the proper amount. Last time I was in, they didn't do this so maybe they got rid of the policy. As far as the techs, most are pretty good. Once I did get a tech that hit the vein, but the blood trickled out at a snail's pace so I'm pretty sure she didn't have the needle at the right angle or something. But overall, very competent and a much shorter wait than the nearby Sonora Quest.
