One of the greatest gym memberships in Charlotte! With a membership, you have access to all locations in Charlotte, a decently sized weightlifting gym/fitness center, Yoga, Intro to Bouldering, Intro to Top Rope, free guests, and unlimited access to the gym, and they also offer discounts for households! Inner Peaks is always setting up new routes so members are never bored. It is far more spacious than it looks from the outside, the only con is the consistent lack of parking.

My first EVER time rock climbing was last weekend at Inner Peaks and I had a great experience!! Their facility was well kept with lots of space for climbers of various ages and abilities. Since I was new to rock climbing, I was brought along on a brief "how-to" session with an instructor. The staff was very friendly and helped ensure we were all comfortable with the equipment and using the walls, before we went off on our own. They were also very open and receptive to questions or assistance throughout your session. A day pass was a decent price with the inclusion of shoes (and a harness if you are belaying). There are also options for membership to the club. Rock climbing at Inner Peaks was challenging, yet fun - A great option to try something new with family or friends!!

Been looking for activities around the city to do, and came across this place. Very fun, yet challenging. If you are new to indoor rock climbing, they do have an instructional video to watch before you start as well as an amazing staff to answer any of you questions. They also guide you through hos to use the equipment and harnesses which is great! They have a number of walls to choose from, beginner to expert. Such a great workout to help strengthen your upper body. We really had a great time! It does take a bit of practice and building of strength especially if you are new, but a good challenge and workout to commit to. They offer daily passes as well as monthly. Definitely worth checking out!

Fun day at inner peaks in charlotte. Not very crowed, so it's perfect to get your climb on. Plus it air conditioning works .. nice on a 90 degree day! Different levels of climbing sections so if you are a beginner.. no worries They have a lot of soft mats in case you fall!

Came here for the first time yesterday with my daughter and she had a blast! Devon(sp?) was extremely helpful getting us signed in and showing us around the place! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I hit up Inner Peaks after working in Charlotte for the week. They have a great setup! The orientation video is the best I've seen yet - which leads to a fast on-ramp to climbing.

I recently moved from Denver, CO and joined Charlotte Athletic Club primarily for the location and…read morewalkability to Uptown. From signup through cancellation, the experience was consistently poor. The signup process was unnecessarily difficult. You cannot sign up online or over the phone and must come in person. I arrived during hours I was told a manager would be present, only to find they had left early, requiring an additional visit to complete enrollment. The gym charges $150 per month per person, with additional costs for lockers, an extra month (extra $150) due on signup, and a facility improvement fee every six months. Despite the price, there is no coat rack or place to store even a jacket. Communication is "you must pay an extra amount for lockers each month" even though lockers are framed as an optional amenity. Charging for lockers in the first place is grubby. Every gym I've attended in the past includes them for free. Pool access is advertised. The pool is actually pool access passes included in membership to the Omni Hotel pool, we were told it was to be opened fall 2025, it has remained closed. This was communicated after signup. The equipment itself is fine, but there is no water bottle refill station, and the water available specifically says "don't fill your water bottle up". It's a gym. Who wants to use a small paper open top cup when working out. Bathrooms are often not clean. If you're coming in in the afternoon for workouts, the gym maintenance and cleaning happens then, so expect some vacuuming and hammering happening most days. But my primary issue is the staff experience relative to the price point. Front desk staff are often disengaged. A trainer instructed us to re rack weights that we didn't use. When we told him they were there before we used the machine he communicated "clean them up anyways". I rack weights when done using them. For $150 a month, if another gym member leaves weights behind, and this is noticed by the staff, I'd expect gym staff to care for the cleanup of other members weights left behind. And especially the first time, just unnecessarily hostile and unfriendly. There are many more similar interactions like this with staff. After I canceled my membership and requested my wife's remain active, a manager approached her requesting credit card information, the implication being "don't forget to pay" in a way that felt inappropriate. This is acceptable at a lower priced gym. Again, it's not what I expect at this price point. This is a premium priced gym with a good location and adequate equipment, but the service level does not match. I'm switching to another gym in the area.

Curious as to why there's a lack of transparency on the membership rates not posted in the website…read more Instead they want you to fill out a contact form.... And what about advertising "all classes included" however all of these indicate again, the lack of transparency that these class descriptions in RED are not... And it looks like the website is back online.

I received a free intro class after attending a fitness event to this location. I was looking for a…read moremore whole body HIT workout (with no treadmills), and this workout definitely HIT! I've been looking for a change since quitting my last gym and wanted something that would target my whole body for a whole class instead of only 20 minutes at other gyms. Everyone was friendly from the staff, owner, and even others attending the class. They took the time out to explain everything to me in detail, the process, what to look for, and the heart rate monitors you wear during the class. The class itself consisted of 6 stations, rowers, bench, weights, and cycles, and you do different kinds of workouts in each station for about 2 min and then switch to a different station. It felt awesome, and I felt like I was able to target every muscle I wanted to in just this one class. I took advantage of their black Friday deals and will def be returning to get my workouts. If you are looking around for different workout options, I def. Recommend scheduling your free intro class here and see what it's all about. This is their only location. They do have a parking deck, but the ticket can be validated. Also, some street parking if you're lucky enough to snag a spot.

Volofit's mission is to be more than just a workout. They truly want to be a community and…read moreencourage you on your journey, whatever that may look like. The studio and equipment are top-notch, parking is free (validated garage parking), and they have showers! As far as the workout goes, I would say its a hybrid between F45 and Orange Theory. It's a circuit style workout, every workout is different, and the workout could include anything from battle ropes, slam balls, body weight exercises, assault bike, rower, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull ups, etc. Overall, it's a high-cardio class that incorporates strength training. Similar to Orange Theory, the class uses heart rate monitors (not required, but strongly encouraged). The goal of the class is to get "20 points," or 20 minutes at more than 70% of your max heart rate. If the above is the kind of workout you're looking for, then I recommend Volofit.

I was clear that I didn't want to be locked into a contract, so they suggested a month-to-month option, but it ended up costing over $200 a month. They were also constantly trying to upsell me on add-ons like red light therapy, pushing yet another membership even after I had already signed up. It felt excessive and uncomfortable. When I later decided to cancel, I was told I needed to give a 30-day notice, which was never mentioned when I signed up. The way it was communicated felt dismissive, basically telling me I would definitely be charged for another month. It feels like they treat your card like it's theirs to charge whenever they want. The atmosphere also changed completely after I became a member. Before joining, they were attentive and friendly, but that disappeared once I signed up. It's easy to get in, but a nightmare to get out. The classes were unreliable as well. The instructor I signed up for missed a lot of sessions, sometimes resulting in weeks without classes. I was promised discounts for those missed sessions, but they never followed through. At one point, I went almost an entire month without the class because the trainer quit, yet I was still charged the full amount. On top of that, I was offered a $50 discount that never showed up. Instead, I was actually charged even more. When I asked about it, they said it was a billing mistake, but that doesn't change the fact that I was overcharged without my consent. The only good class was the heat/and tone and the trainer left. And you have to book a class to go and guess what if you can't go they charge you 20 dollars! EDIT: She will say she gave me a discount, after a month with no classes I never got it! Why do you think I'm upset? She also says there was not any classes only for thanksgiving? Ha what a joke, the trainer was gone for weeks after and there was not a sub once. AND this whole month, I have not been able book a class, because there are NONE. I feel bad for the people who bought a heat/tone package and never have a class to go to. This lady is lying through her teeth.
