I was greeted with a nice smile from the receptionist as soon as I walked in and while the place is small, it had a nice cozy and relaxing environment. Amanda was my masseuse and she listened to my needs (relief of muscle aches from frequent workouts) and she went to work. She used the right amount of pressure to help relieve some muscle tension I had in my neck and back, and the aromatherapy and oils she used helped relieve some stress. After the hour, she also gave me some tips on how to relieve the tension myself at home which I really appreciated. It's easiest to go up to the second floor from the door on your right (there are 2 entrances). She didn't know what I was talking about, didn't speak a word of English. She left the room and brought someone to interpret. Two minutes after she started she pushed hard on my spine and caused severe muscle spasms under my ribs. I couldn't continue and she didn't understand and kept rubbing the area making it worse. I kept telling her to stop touching me and she didn't. Not a word of English, never asked how much pressure to apply and that's a big problem when they can't speak any English. A tip? Really?
