Took my slightly modified 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited 4 door in for a re-gear from stock 3:45's to 4:88's. I am currently running a 3 1/2" lift with 35" tires and before the re-gear I couldn't hold 8th gear on the freeway let alone 7th on a slight grade. I'm not even a weekend warrior when it comes to off roading and 4 wheeling. I just wanted the car to run properly based on the equipment it came with. The guys at Inland Jeep are very knowledgeable and polite but the owner could sell ice to an Eskimo. He initially tried to sell me a complete drivetrain swap out to the tune of $24,000 to $30,000, which is more than what I paid for the jeep. I went with the basic re-gear and added front and rear e-lockers for approximately $6,000. He talked me into a couple of other upgrades which I was okay with and I am very happy the way the Jeep drives now. I highly recommend them, just beware of the upsell. They definitely now their stuff... I will definitely be doing business with them in the future for any new modifications... read more

Shawn is seriously the man. Some backstory: I am dropping a new engine into my jeep with my dad. Neither of us have ever messed with jeeps so as you can imagine we got stumped a few times . Some of the times we got away with using the all powerful jeep forums on the internet and some times we were left with nothing. I was not even paying Shawn and he still answered my questions when I asked them. He knows jeeps like the back of his hand and will absolutely be the only place I take my jeep to when it inevitably has problems (Just Expect Every Problem, but hopefully not soon!) I brought in my XJ to have my axel seals and bearings replaced as well as having it re-geared. The guys took pictures of everything and they examined my jeep from roof to tire. I had no idea about some issues they photographed like my cracked rear brake shoe and my bent rear axel! They let me know of these issues and let me decide if I wanted them to be fixed or not, I had the axel straightened out but left the brakes to do at home myself. I never felt like I was be forced or pushed to spend more money. I really appreciate the communication, they kept me updated through the entire process. After the re-gearing they gave me a very clearly printed sheet with instructions on the break-in procedure. They did fantastic work, I had that done about two years ago now and I have had no issues or complaints at all! read more

Went in for a front end lift, they lost my transfer case drop kit and told me I must have lost it. I brought all the parts and showed them everything I brought prior to letting them work on it. I wouldn't mind buying another because it was only 20 bucks and people misplace things all the time but when Jeremy called he told me the Rubicon Express Lift did not come with one. After telling him it was in the same package as the brake lines they installed he put me on hold looked again and told me they couldnt find them. read more

Update. You can tell Shawn is lying when his lips move. The broken weldment turned out to be a bolt they cross threaded. Lucky for me they used the cheapest hardware they could find so I was able to make the repair with little effort. When I checked my transmission fluid it was low, and the fill plug was only finger tight. The U-joint on the front driveshaft was not properly reinstalled as the cap was on the outside of the keeper. If you have had work done here I would highy recomend going over everythisng they touched to avoid any trail breakdowns. read more

I went to inland Jeep to have my 94 Wrangler lifted. They used mismatced Springs. Some of the parts were even used and then painted black. I cannot tell you how unhappy I am with the workmanship. Yes, they do come off as if they are christians but they surely don't act like it. If you decide to do business with these people and after you realize you've been ripped off I am warning you in advance don't turn and walk away turn and RUN AWAY! . All I need was my rear main seal replaced. They gave me a quote for that plus oil change and to add transmission fluid. I don't need those things done. Been done already. I do my research and they're trying to get more money. Not good. I don't recommend going there at all! I'm very disappointed. read more

Save yourself some money and a headache stay away from this business!! I originally came here because of a noise I heard coming from the rear of my xj . These guys told me it was the position of my transfer case and differential and some shims would solve the problem 250 dollars later noise still persist. They then told me it was my transfer case and u joints 900 dollars later noise still there. Oh and they didn't change my u joints but still charged me for them! I let it go as a honest mistake. Had a bit of a wobble so they also recommended that I change my steering shaft . Today I just picked up my xj and it has a power steering leak wich was never there before.I told Shawn the onwer and he said it's not his problem and could fix it for 200?! Not only that but they didn't even put my dash on after taking it off oh yeah and that noise which I originally came in for ... still there guys ! I thought because it was a Jeep shop and that they were fellow Christians I could trust these guys but nope . Stay away unless you like throwing away money and enjoy headaches read more

It has been more than one year since I made a big mistake and decided to do business with Inland Jeep. I asked Shaun owner of Inland Jeep to install lockers in my 2001 XJ Jeep Cherokee. They suggested and installed the Yukon ring and pinion along with the Yukon Dura Grip for my Dana 44. As I drove away I was hearing the gears clearly making a squealing noise as if the gears where Rubbing. I turned around and spoke with Shaun who assured me he did his work correctly and this noise is normal until it is broke in. After driving it for the first 500 mile for break in, I brought it back for their scheduled inspection and service. It was still making a bad noise. Inland Jeep said it was over heated and blamed me for this. This is my 2nd XJ and over 30 years have had 3 Dana 44's built and never had any issue and understand how to break in gears correctly. I did not want any issues and although I payed for the extended warrantee, They charge me an additional $775.00 for parts not under warrantee that their product destroyed. I reluctantly paid. Now with and 2nd rebuild in 3 months it went bad again within the break in period. I took it back to Inland Jeep where they wanted me to pay again because the gears were burned up again. Inland Jeep wanted another $775.00 to do it again. I ask them just to put it back the way it was. I cannot trust them any longer. I took it back to a company that I have had my work done before over 30 years and never had an issue. I paid again for the rear-end lockers and my troubles have stopped. Inland Jeep service and ownership SUCKS. They owe me over $2000.00. Bad Service, parts and bad business practices. They will not even honor the extended warranty. because I said their service is SH$T. IT IS. Inland Jeep bought the products and has the Receipt I need to exercise my warranty. Inland Jeep won't give the receipt to me and will not let me exercise the warranty to recoup any part of my losses . Again, Inland Jeep Sucks. read more

Total rip off. Get charged ridiculous unnecessary, unexplained fees. I was charged and extra $75 for a "sales tax" but on my invoice it was already included in my main price. I have them $25 on my debit card and he said I owed him $45. So I gave him $45 cash. And he said I was good to go, as he didn't put it in a drawer or anything. Had to bring my jeep back five times for jobs not finished! They over promise and under deliver!! Hire and under pay young mechanics that have no training from well knowledgeable owner! Now, I am going to fix their mistakes! There is so many it would take to long to list! Learning how to weld, here i come redoing shock and spring perches that they installed incorrectly! Watch out for added price gouging!! I feel cheated and their answers to my problems like vibration and harmonic issues (after major build)they gave up on and said they couldn't figure it out! Well i did, they set the spring perch angles when my transfer case was dropped! I bought a slip yoke eliminator From them to put it back to stock height for more clearance! Got home and dropped my transfer case and vibrations gone! So, that tells me they set leaf spring perch angle with transfer case dropped! They are claiming that the drive shaft angles are within spec! Bull crap they are! Stay away they are not detail oriented! read more
