I found Ink'd Artistry VIA Instagram since a lot of my mutual friends got their tattoos from there and I was so impressed with Avi's work just by the looking at the pictures, that I brought him two new customers (who, mind you, did more than one tattoo that day) as well as myself for my first visit. I came here for my first tattoo and honestly, it was more than worth it. The place itself is clean and gives off a friendly aura especially for a newbie like myself. The tattoos come in a reasonable range. I was asked if there was any shows and music that I wanted to put on, and if I wanted something to drink. Let's talk about professionalism first!! Avi, tattoo artist and store owner is amazing. Definitely provides great customer service and satisfaction. I have been looking at his work for a while but at first my schedule and his wasn't matching. He promised to keep me updated if anyone cancelled and he truly did exactly that. I love how friendly he is, great at having a conversion, and his shop is kept clean and organized. Avi gave me a few options as to how big my tattoo can look and gave suggestions along the way. He played music and we talked. This tattoo did not hurt as my other ones even though it's by my elbow area. Thank you for being gentle and for being kind. I've been to several shops over the years, and I'm pleased to say, I've finally found THE artist I will keep going back to. I honestly wish he would've done my half sleeve! Owner and tattoo artist Avi is incredibly talented, knowledgeable and accommodating. He's also starting laser removal for tattoos, which is cool for people like me who are running out of room When I asked him if we could make my image bigger (after he had already stenciled it on) he didn't get annoyed but instead happily provided a couple of options for larger sizes. He suggested an off-center placement, and I love how it came out. I'm from Suffolk County, so I could've easily found a shop out on Long Island, but Avi's shop is well worth the drive. Highly suggest for anyone in the tri-state area. Call ahead as his schedule does fill up fast! read more

Recently had my tattoo done by Avi. After a good amount of research I did choose Ink'd Artistry to get my first tattoo done. Being from both referrals and reviews I knew this was the place to go. Avi was willing to work with any idea you had while suggesting his own, which was really appreciated. He did not want to give any a tattoo in which he thought was less than his best. I actually had my upper half sleeve done in February. But because of the quality of work and my experience with Avi, It was tempting to complete the entire arm. And so I did. One month later, the entire sleeve was completed and I couldn't be happier. Because of my trust in Avi, after the upper half sleeve, my lower sleeve actually consists of all free hand drawing in which I gave him no restrictions. Definitely no regrets in doing that. Got my very first tattoo done here and I have to say- I'm so happy with it. The guy, Avi, did such a great job of creating a sketch and keeping in touch with me that on the actual day, it went perfectly. Avi is the best tattoo artist ever! I got my first piece done with him today (a forearm tattoo in color) and I'm so obsessed with it that I plan on returning to get more work done with him! He's very light handed, I was able to text and use my phone perfectly fine without ever complaining or saying that it was painful. His tools were not loud like many tattoo artists, which was very nice. He also played my favorite movies, which kept me entertained for the 4 hours we spent on my tattoo. This place is great! Avi was the best. Communication prior to the appt was quick and helpful. My friend and I scheduled our appt at 9:30am and missed our subway stop, leaving us near Broad Canal. I was updating him with our whereabouts, fearful we would lose our appt. His 10am couldn't make it so we had our time and he told us not to worry. When we got there we were greeted by Avi who was kind and welcoming. The shop was clean and well lit. He went over the particulars for my tattoo and made sure it was to size and asked questions about detail. He also made it a point to show him taking out the needle from the packaging and setting up the station in front of me which gives a sense of assurance of the cleanliness of the procedure. It was quick and nearly painless. I asked questions about ointments he was putting on and he was happy to answer.
