Everyone at the shop was super nice, they have a bar area that you can get food/drinks at for all the waiting people wait at to fill out forms and before the tattoo. They are EXTREMELY hygienic, Chu spent like 10 minutes wiping down and sanitizing her equipment and area before tattooing me and everyone (staff and guests) was required to wear masks. Glad they were being as safe as possible especially with COVID and monkeypox going around. The shop itself is super cool. Huge windows and it really has a nice open and modern concept to it. Great view of the city and very relaxing to get tattooed there. The tattoo turned out great for me! Was super fast, only lasted about 1-1.5 hours and Chu was super talkative and talked to me the whole time. She was very good about aftercare directions too and even didn't give me the second skin wrap since it itched for me on a previous tattoo. That definitely has helped as this tattoo is significantly less itchy that my previous one. Definitely would come back to get another tattoo from her. Bonus: I am vegan and they use vegan products and a vegan process! Super cool and that helped put my mind at ease about that stuff. This shop is amazing and absolutely worth your time!

I just got my arm tattoos done here today, and my artist, Natalia, was nothing short of AMAZING. I went in a bit nervous, as a lot of us are with getting tatted, and her light hand, experience, and energy made my experience so seamless. It was actually therapeutic and didn't hurt at all! I kid you not, it didn't hurt, and my pain tolerance isn't that high - so that should say something! Also, her precision was perfect! I could not be happier with my tatts, in fact I am going back next week to get more work done! I cannot wait! Furthermore, the rest of the staff at Ozone Tattoo are so friendly and kind, they make you feel right at home. Pricing for tattoos are also very reasonable, considering this is NYC. I hope you give them a consideration... you will NOT be disappointed! :)

PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE IMPULSIVELY GOING TO THIS PLACE!!…read more Javier and Chris are unprofessional and money hungry. They should not be doing tattoos or piercings. I got a severe stomach Infection and am now on antibiotics for the next two weeks due to Chris' ERRORS and NEGLECT. 1. Why are you unsure of your own prices and finding ways to over charge customers? If you state that a piercing is $50 then It should still be $50 when I get there. Not turn into $80 ( + tax ) for some stupid jewelry that isnt even real. 2. Why are you giving customers big ass dangling jewelry as a starter piercing? at no point did you professionally reccomend a smaller jewelry option like you were supposed to for someone getting their belly pierced for the FIRST TIME. WHY are you allowing me to get a dangling charm piece of JEWELRY in which you know would cause an infection? Any PIERCER that actually cared about clientele or wanting customers to come back would have been Informative and gave a warning for my safety. 3. Why are you talking shit about clients once they leave? I'm pretty sure me making a second visit here for you to "make things right" as you stated over the phone, Javier, due to yall fucking up the first time, did not need to be shared with the next client that was next. And i heard you talking about me upon leaving. Conclusion: If you see a guy with a fucked up turtle on his neck? RUN. If you even come across this place of "business" in general? RUN. Single needle, fine line numbers that are perfectly weighted and give that minimalist look I was going for. Also to note, my last tattoo from Jhonny is about a year old and healed PERFECTLY. Very welcoming and friendly when I arrived which is always a plus. Jhonny was lovey as always and made the whole appointment comfortable and easy, he is also super easy to talk to especially for people like me, a grade A introvert. I could not recommend this place more, even the studio itself was a huge space and very open which is huge right now when everyone is distancing, it felt extremely safe. This tattoo has been percolating in my heart for over five years, since my father passed in 2020, so it was incredibly meaningful to me. My husband gifted it to me as a Christmas present, and I'm so grateful that Soeen was the artist I was paired with. I first reached out in mid-December for a personal consultation over email, went in-person that same week, reviewed the artwork, made a few small tweaks, and finalized the design and placement together on the day of my appointment. The whole process felt smooth, thoughtful, and collaborative from start to finish. Soeen was so patient, attentive, and meticulous, especially when it came to making sure the placement on my arm felt just right. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and created a custom Asian illustrative design that was way better than anything I could have imagined! I felt truly heard and cared for throughout the entire experience. I live locally in the neighborhood and have always wanted to get tattooed here--I even reached out back in 2024 but didn't pull the trigger at the time. I'm so glad I finally did, and even happier that it was with Soeen. If you're looking for an artist who is talented, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life, I highly recommend Soeen. I loved working with her and can't wait to get tattooed by her again in the future!
