You will also find vendors selling things for great prices. Make sure to bring cash and most vendors will give you a discount. The only downside is even with the ridiculously large parking area, it STILL fills up every single day. It's literally always busy, so prepare to walk a lot. Always fun to visit every once in a while.

Almost all of the people there were male adults, but the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly, and sometimes female family members dropped by. My son rented an RC drift car with charged battery for $30. They said the battery may last about 45 minutes, but it ended up lasting an hour and a half! He then got a second battery for $10 and played another hour and a half. He had a great time! They have an impressive stock of cars and parts. There are two tracks--one for non-drift, and one for drift. The drift track was definitely the popular one with almost all customers there and only one or two at the other. Place was a little hard to find--no obvious signs, had to ask someone else. Entrance was at the corner of the building with subtle signage.

It's $2 for a card to load the Groupon arcade credits, and the points per card by dollar value are intentionally difficult to calculate. Some machines cost 15.6, some cost 8.8, etc. The claws do have the double tap function, but they are rigged so the claws loosen at top and payout is meh, even when the employees reset the machine if asked. The cutting machine is also quite rigged and rarely stops after letting go of the button. Overall, I prefer claw machine places (like claw daddy, infinity claws) with more enthusiastic and helpful employees (versus those sitting back at the counter chatting with their non-working friends) and a less rigged system. I won't be back again.

I am very on edge when taking a kid (9 years old) into a store like this as it can be overwhelming, but as soon as Mike interacted with my son, the stress went right away. I was excited to see soo many pops in one place, especially the ones that were rarer and more expensive. Their pop prices start at $10.00 for their common ones and goes up from there based on rarity, if it was exclusive to a convention or so and more. There were also mystery packs and pop protectors for sale as well. The pops were sorted by either movie, show or collection. The expensive ones were mostly placed in a glass case and the walls were just filled with shelves of these different pops. It felt like a museum to me as I looked at the different pops with little price tags placed on them if they were above the $10.00 price point. There were a few that cost below $10.00 or what they actually would be worth due to damages, wear or other things that would affect the price.Upstairs they had most of the common pops for $10.00. Both times I visited, I ended up getting some pops for my boyfriend and I hehe And I liked the fact that they throw in a pop protector when you check in. I think the downside of this company is when you try buying Mystery Boxes online. As of this review, they're currently having a 40% sale of the entire store with a section that's 50% off. I've seen them vend at a lot of SoCal anime conventions, always seeing attendees carry around their logo shopping tote bags with purchases, but alas I feel like the location (swaths of closed shops in the mall) things didn't line up, sadly. There's some cute photo opportunities and there's a decent mix of nerdy collectible goods there like Pop Up Parade figures, Nendoroids, Figma, Funko Pops (ugh), some western media (Star Wars and Stranger Things), Poke'mon goods (cards and some vintage figures), and blind boxes. Was very neat that they had Fate figures since I don't see that as often anymore, unless it's only prize figures, but they had the Figma for Okita Alter, the scale figure for Skadi, and Saber Alter Copoche. I've been an anime fan for over 20 years and having grown up in this area, I've seen quite a few…read moreanime stores come and go. In this modern era where you can pretty much buy any anime merch you want online, Anime Station still manages to provide a unique, curated shopping experience with the following: 1) Constantly updating with new products and new anime goods. Everytime I visit, there's something different and it's fun to just browse. 2) Capsule machines. There's a good number of them and while they are just a bit pricey, the variety and unusual prizes are worth it. 3) Official goods. As far as I can tell, most of the items are officially licensed and displayed in an orderly, neat way. 4) Ichiban kuji. If you don't know, Ichiban kuji is a prize lottery where you buy tickets towards different tiers of prizes. There are ways to purchase the prizes online but it's much more convenient the way they have you purchase tickets here. The Ichiban kuji available here are a good mix of older anime and new ones. It's also really nice that they have the prizes on display so you have a better idea of the actual product. It's often hard to tell sometimes what a prize is really like from photos or sample illustrations online. Today when I stopped by, Kate and the young man working (sorry forgot his name) helped me out to purchase tickets for the Frieren Ichiban kuji and I was able to get the special last prize!!
