After careful consideration and speaking with friends that wanted to install a pool at their location we decided to use Inground pool design, I can honestly say it has been the worst experience in my life and decided that I will never install a pool again because of this company. They do a terrible job of following up with their contractors and when their part of the job is done they feel they should be paid instead of dealing with the others they hire.
Furthermore the owner can't even discuss issues with his company but threaten that if he is not released his money that he will stop all process and go to court for his money. I am now a year later and him plus his concrete team may in fact be the worst tandem in business. My advice is to stay away from this company as they are a poor representation of professionals.
Even the electric company they sent out did a terrible job and tore the landscaping up to the house. The concrete company gave the excuse all concrete cracks within the first year but after talking to professional landscapers they have said they wouldn't do the job based on the terrible job of the concrete needing to be done.
Now to even add to this they can't even reach out they have a landscape and concrete company contact us about fixing the job that they did, worst $40,000 ever spent I would at least expect a finished project within a year. Buyer beware this company is not worth what you are paying for I would have been better off to have them take me to court, they were the ones in breach of contract.
FYI I wouldn't use the company they look to finance through, they told us they would make sure the concrete company did right and I am still having my pool uncompleted and it's been a year. I pretty sure none of you would want cigarette butts, footprints or cracks in the first pour for the foundation.
There will be more to add to this since the project still isn't done and I am looking at further options against a terrible company that can't even get a project right. My fear is I have seen the advertising and I don't want someone else to fall victim to them. I know of two other installations that have been done very shady and will have them add their terrible experience as well.
My advice look elsewhere and spend a bit more money it will be worth it.
Also when they say that your area will be landscape ready and theirs is after multiple visits to try to get it right. This is no where landscape ready, after they painted the deck they failed to clean the pool correctly and we had to call a company out to go through the filter to get all the paint chippings out because of the poor excuse for a company!!!!
Even after calling the owner he still sent his underlying's to attempt to take care of the business, a pretty poor excuse for an owner with all the companies I have dealt with in the past. We will be letting the better business bureau and many others know of this poor excuse of a companies work ethics.
If I could rate less then a one trust me I would.
Southern Custom Additions is the concrete company to avoid at all costs as well as they are still unfinished and refuse to return calls to rectify the problems. read more
