You can definitely tell it's a well loved space and the energy was good. Gia was upfront about explaining different pigments and other elements about tattooing that were new to me, and made me feel more comfortable having that new knowledge. For sure hit up Stray Tattoo, the place has a decent amount of parking and is easy to find. Definitely want to come back! The whole studio is set up creatively and each artist has their own decorative station. My most recent visit was with Justin, or @fatttattz on instagram. Justin was very patient, detailed, and thorough. After drawing out the original stencil design, he suggested to switch and flip the butterflies so it wouldn't be so "top heavy", and also advised that we should do a stipple effect on the vines so that it gave a more feminie look and that over time, the ink wouldn't look so harsh. He even decided to shade the butterflies for more definition and to blend the piece together. I am SO GLAD he gave his professional input and that I listened to him!!! I think it came out gorgeous and Im more than happy with how it all came out. He made sure to check in through out the whole process and he was hilarious!! I highly recommend JUSTIN !!!
