I'm usually pretty nervous around needles, but Isaiah took the time to explain everything and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process. Both Isaiah and Manaia were incredibly helpful in making sure the placement was perfect. Manaia was such a girl's girl and she even paused what she was doing to help us take photos afterward, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had an amazing experience. Unfortunately, that confidence didn't translate into results. He clearly didn't understand the blending or flow required for the piece, and what should have been a smooth, cohesive design ended up disjointed and awkward. It's cost me thousands of dollars to have other artists fix and cover parts of his work -- money and time I never should've had to spend. If you're after American Traditional, Richard might be a solid choice. But if you want Japanese Style or anything that requires more nuance and flow, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere or at least demanding to see a comprehensive portfolio first. Very disappointing experience overall.
