I had a total of six sessions with Monica and over those six sessions she was amazing. Super understanding and accommodating with each session. For those wondering, she provides advice on what to do and not do before the appointment, checks up on your during the session and contacts you a few days after the session to make sure the tattoo is healing properly. Also, she has a light hand and works efficiently. Extremely happy with my tattoo and my experience with her. I gave her a rough idea, told her "you have creative liberties" and she ran with it. She gave me a good anime sleeve design that blow my expectations. Monica has become my go to artist.

My first experience with this shop, my family experienced a loss and wanted to get a tribute tattoo made for a cousin. It was a brand design with my cousin's initials inside. I returned to get a karaoke mic on my arm that had the wire plug into my wrist. He got what I wanted down! Consistently great experience. This place is conveniently located near downtown Vallejo off Sonoma Blvd. Parking is no problem with street parking in front and parking lot across the street. It's good to know that there are great artists locally. I see that David specializes in portraits. So if you are looking for an artist that can do portraits well, David is your man! There are a couple artists that reside here and their artwork, from what I have seen, is pretty awesome! Hopefully, you're Yelping adventures lead you to this awesome tattoo spot in Vallejo. He delivered! We had a great conversation throughout the session, super chill vibes and a funny dude. Just a chill person to be around. My experience with odie versus other shops I've been to, he has a light touch or maybe it's just the area of skin I got inked, but 75% of my tattoo was a 3/10 pain and highest reaching 7/10. There's parking in the back so your car doesn't get bapped cuz you're near downtown vallejo. Side note he is very well priced and works fast and accommodates. Make sure you have what you want in mind and with his experience of 10+ years he will work with you very well. 10/10 I'll come again if I need work done other than tribal. Kai, also known as Cobra Kai, is a new artist that I so happened to run into while looking for a…read moreshop to do to my tribute tattoo. I've spent a while lotta' time in Vallejo with other artists and the style that I was looking for was the American Tradition slash Sailor Jerry type vibe - in which my previous artists couldn't follow through on since their styles were a little different. Fortunately Kai was able to fit me on a Monday and our appointment was set up for 2 o'clock on a ungodly hot day. The shop is in an older home converted into the tattoo parlor with no A/C so your only options are fans and drinking cold waters. Thus, in the future I will only be planning on getting tatts from Kai on cooler days. Unlike my previous artists, she was (obviously) female and we connected really well so my three hour session went by pretty quick with a few smoke breaks. She was awesome and honestly, this chick has a good head on her shoulders... from what I can tell. We talked about her art work, her travels, her personal life from all over the country, and she showed me some of her drawings that she was working on. Her work was amazing. Perfect and better than I could of imagined. It's one thing to see the stencil and another to see the finished piece on yourself. Surprisingly she admitted that American Traditional was something she wanted to work more on but with the work she did on me - she definitely delivered. The red was brilliant and the shading was amazing. The tattoo is healing and the red is still vibrant. For sure I'll be going back to her in the future since I plan on adding more to my piece. More of her work is on FB Ink by Cobra Kai. Thank you Kai!

The raffle included an 8-hr session (design being part of the time slot). The shop is located in the very corner of an old shopping plaza (same one as Popeye's) right off the 37 and Sonoma Blvd. The signage was actually covered by a large tree so we had a little trouble confirming if we were at the right place until we got out our car. The inside is super clean with multiple stations for each artist. I messaged Victoria via Instagram with my ideas of what I wanted, and she was super responsive and also gave valuable advice. She specializes in black and white, and doesn't to portraits (yet!). The day of the actual procedure, Victoria was so nice and accommodating. Our session went from around 10am to 4pm, which included time for her to draw out my idea (and adding extra embellishments/creative freedom), which I loved. It has been a little over a week since, and it is healing up perfectly. I really appreciated the patience and extra care, and felt like I was taken care of even before getting into the studio. Highly recommend!
