I had a cafe mocha that was served in a cup about the size of a "venti" at another place, including an extra shot, but it was only $2.50! Donna, the owner, clearly cares about quality as she stocks all top-shelf items, like Ghirardelli and Monin syrups. She also offers choices of whole, 2%, and soy milks. I was very glad to have found this little shop for coffee to start the day! They have an extensive coffee menu, full of great selections that I am anxious to try.

I tried an iced Brewchata that had a light touch of cinnamon. I also got one of their Lemon Blueberry Muffins that held me through all 6 hours of my drive. The barista working was very friendly, talkative, and helpful, making sure I ordered what I wanted. Because of her friendliness, I'll probably make this stop more often. This place's latte art caught my attention because that is definitely one of the crafts that distinguishes a coffee place, blurring the line between second and third-wave, in my opinion. I decided to give this place a try as it was more promising than anything I could find in the area. They had a good selection of drinks and standard drinks that you would find in any other coffee shop. I was also surprised to see that they also offered pourover options and had very good equipment, similar to the stuff I have at home in order to make it. This really piqued my interest. Unfortunately, the beans they had to make the pourovers or 4 to 6 months old, so I decided not to go with a pourover. Instead, I got a latte, which they actually did a beautiful job in terms of the latte art which told me that they knew how to properly get milk up to the right temperature and know how to layer the drink properly which gave me some hope. The latte was actually pretty good and I would actually come back for it. The people provided good service and were nice and patient . The ambiance was very basic and empty, with a lukewarm cafeteria-like design which made it feel like a first wave and was not pleasant.
