Ordered sandwich trays and fruit for same day delivery, well over the amount their web site stated, and received a call later saying they wouldn't deliver as wasn't over $250 (their website said $100 and order was for $150+) and couldn't do same day. They helpfully would refund my money for the food they weren't delivering. Used them a lot pre-Covid but first time since and won't be using them anytime soon. They claim "they are working" on having their website actually reflect current info but that is not helpful when would have used another place if I'd know this earlier. read more

Our office gets catered food from Ingallina's quite often and it's a favorite among our coworkers. The Asian noodle salad is amazing. Lots of noodles with pieces of chicken with this amazing sesame dressing. They're little sandwiches are really good too - most recently we have had their mini croissant sandwiches which were delicious. Their caprese tray is really good too. Most of their savory things are delicious. The fruit platter is good, but their desserts are just okay. Maybe this is just because by the time I get to dessert, I'm already too full. I could eat their Asian noodle salad all the time. No delivery charge 2. Two order minimum unlike other places that require four or more. 3. Value for what you receive: I ordered a salad and shared it with my coworker. The boxed lunch included a piece of bread, cookie, fruit cup, butter, utensils, water bottle, mint, toothpick, hand-wipe, and salt. Cons: Absolutely none after two different orders. I used Ingallina's Executive Box Lunch for most of our business lunches and our guests loves them. Due to the type of meeting, I can only place order in the same morning and their kitchen is just across our street, I will opt for picking up order. I have too many bad experiences where they will not accept our order unless I place the order 2 days in advance so I stopped ordering altogether. Make sure you check their capacity before taking order from your guests, it can get very embarrassing if you make your guest choose what they want and not able to deliver. One of my dear cousins who I love very very much lives in Seattle. The day before her birthday I was chatting with her on the BBM & she mentioned how sad and miserable she was since she had been studying for the BAR exam which was a week away. She mentioned that it sucked being broke (duh, she just graduated from Law School, isn't working & is spending every waking moment studying) she also confided in me how terrified she was about this impending exam & how it didn't even feel like the next day was her birthday. I wanted to cheer her up so I jumped on yelp and did some research about places in the Seattle area that deliver lunches & giftbaskets. I found Ingallina's. I ordered a gourmet picnic basket which included two small bottles of Delicato red a& white wine, fresh fruit, bottled water, Seattle chocolate truffles, homemade cookies, chips, a variety of meats, cheeses & crackers, sandwich a& salad of your choice, napkins, condiments, glasses, etc. I called them up, placed my order, told them my choice of salad/sandwich & for $39.95 (plus tax) they delivered the basket to my cousin on her birthday along with a small message from me. The only reason I docked a star was because the delivery guy arrived a half hour before my requested delivery time. (I guess that's not a big-big deal, but if you're trying to surprise someone, sometimes it's difficult enough figuring out the logistics of where they'll be or when they'll arrive without the added complication of the delivery service arriving early) In the end it all worked out but I thought it was worth mentioning. Not your average brown box here, people. *Sandwiches: soft bread, plenty of meat, delicious spreads, avocado, a few veggie options, etc. Definitely large enough. *Cookie: HOMEMADE soft cookies, a variety - I got lemon cookie with lemon icing. Oh heavens... halfway through I put the cookie down to take a drink, and had a mini-panic attack when I forgot I still had some left. Then, my heart rate returned to normal. *Water, Tim's chips - eh, not a big Tims fan. *Variety of fruit: fresh and juicy. Careful that the juices don't squirt from your mouth. Other places I called would not deliver on a Saturday unless it was a $1500 minimum (whoa! Okay?) or wouldn't go as south as Des Moines. We order lunches for our office several times a year from Ingallina's. We have consistently had great food (there's always something for our staff even those on restricted diets, vegetarians, and gluten free). The delivery person has always been on-time, friendly, and accommodating. Today we ordered a Cinco de Mayo platter and the staff is commenting that they love the salad and the macadamia pineapple dessert is a huge hit too! They make it easy to order online or on the phone, are always accommodating, and deliver what they say and show - we've never been let down. This review is long overdue. I've used Ingallina's for business catering many a times and every time the service is great. The food is delicious, well priced and wonderfully presented. I literally unbox and unwrap and set it out and it looks great. Compared to other catering companies in the area, Ingallina's offers a wider variety of food. It also tastes a lot better and comes packed very fresh. Oh, and their portions are quite large! Recommendations include the two bite cookies, teriyaki skewers and the chips and guacamole. They also have a rewards program which is nice. Delivery is always on time and prompt. They also call to confirm your order which is nice so you don't feel so in the dark after you submit it. I've recommended Ingallina's to a few colleagues who didn't know about it and they were very satisfied as well. read more

I was forced to explain with my customer that lunch won't come while it's already 1pm and everybody very hungry after a whole morning meeting. it makes me looks very bad in front of my customer and I really feel shamed on it. And what's worse was I've made two phone calls in advance to confirm my order, but finally it's still not delivered. I've hosted hundreds of meetings before and never ever had such issue on ordering lunch for the meeting, this is really unacceptable. here is what happened: 1) 11:00am: I put the order online, and then I got an email which confirmed it and the target deliver time is 11:45am - 12:15pm. the order number is "407625". I notice that the website said "you'll receive a confirmation call" so I'm waiting the call. 2) 11:14am: I didn't got an confirmation call, so I called 206-766-9400, the phone number listed on the website, there is one lady answered the phone and confirmed that "yes we do got your order". 3) 12:17pm: The order suppose to arrive by 11:45am - 12:15pm, so I wait till 12:17pm but didn't see the delivery, so I called 206-766-9400 again, one gentleman answered my call and he called the driver then told me "sorry it's traffic, give us 10 more min". I said OK. 4)12:35pm: I still didn't see the food. so I called 206-766-9400 again, one lady answered it, she double checked it and said "sorry your order didn't reach the kitchen, we can deliver it by 2-3pm". I'm like "what?!" I asked her why I called previously and the gentleman said he need 10 more minutes, She said there is another order which deliver the same address and he thought that's mine. I told her that I'm hosting customer meeting and there are 20 hungry people waiting for the food, she said she can not deliver the food now, the earliest time she can deliver will be 2-3pm. I asked her to cancel the order and she gave me a cancellation number "528200". I was very very disappointed on this, especially I've made 2 phone calls already and confirm my order, and it's still missed. And finally I have to step out my meeting and drive to nearest restaurant to get food, and everybody have to wait till almost 1:45pm to get their lunch. Very rarely do I get to order from Ingallina's. Working at a school, we just don't have much of a budget for this. But we were able to recently. I purchased the value box lunches for staff. Here's the pros about this place: it's easy to order, you have a variety of selections, you can pick a date and time (this might be only a day or two ahead but at least you can do this) and payment methods are easy. I selected a specific delivery time and it was on time indeed. The box lunches are marked with a sticker and show what is in each box. The value lunches are such a value indeed. Each sandwich comes with a good sized wrapped sandwich, a bag of chips and a good sized cookie also. This is a good size for anyone, I'm telling you. I chose the turkey and avocado sandwich and it was delicious and too much to eat in one sitting, at least for me. Honestly, I don't have cons for this place. It's a deal and it's worth every cent. When you are in charge of coordinating meals for a staff, this is as easy as it gets. I'll use them again as soon as I can. You should too. read more

I order from Ingallina's about once a week. They are great! Everything is fresh, delicious, tasty, reasonably priced (less than $10 a person), and THEY DELIVER! Their boxed lunches have such a great variety! Their delivery time is usually as promised and everything is packed neatly. The only website feature I wish they had would be to exclude delivery times that are no longer available for the day when placing an order. A few times, I've picked a delivery time based on our lunch meetings only to receive a call saying that delivery time is no longer available. It'd be helpful to know whether or not we can get a delivery at the time we need prior to spending time selecting menu items that we can't receive. I usually end up ordering from somewhere else when that happens. Hungry consultants can easily be hangry in a matter of minutes! I love that they let you customize their platters. We have quite a few vegetarians in the office and when I can't find a good numbered mix of sandwiches to feed all, I call in and ask them to swap a few this for a few of that which they are more than happy to do. I first came across Ingallina's at my work when my department treated box lunches for us! Truth be told I never really thought box lunches would be all that great and that the food contained within would be bare minimum in every regard and uninspired. But in the case with Ingallina's my impression of what constitutes as a box lunch completely changed! I have gotten two of their menu items on two separate orders. The first time I got the Turkey and Avocado sandwich which was fantastic! So very fresh and the sandwich spread was wonderful! In addition to the sandwich there was a cookie, a bag of chips, bottled water and a very impressive cup of fruit which was garnished with a leaf of mint. Nice touch! After that impressive meal I was starting to wonder if they would deliver to private homes. I wasn't too sure since I see and hear them most of the time associated with companies but they do in fact deliver to private homes! The minimum box lunches for a delivery to happen anywhere is two. Steve was easily convinced to give the place a try so we ordered in box lunches and saved them until we were both home for supper. This time I got the Thai Chicken Wrap which was very good as well! In the end though I think I liked that Turkey and Avocado sandwich the best but that is just my preference. Both times everything was very fresh and tasty! One box lunch a piece is $15.00 and there are various rates for larger meals or gifts associated with companies so that takes a bit of investigating. read more

My mom's workplace often orders lunches from Ingallina's, and so she decided to order some party trays from them for my sisters wedding, to supplement some homemade dishes that were going to be served. We ordered shrimp rings, teriyaki chicken, fruit, veggie and cheese trays. The delivery to Mountlake Terrace was on time and we were very satisfied with the service and the food. I went to an event catered by Ingallinas yesterday. I eat low carb. My expectations for catered food are pretty low. I had pre-ordered a chicken caesar salad. I braced myself for a soggy, pre-dressed salad with salty, flavorless institutional dressing a few sad chicken shavings on top. This is the standard low carb box lunch I've had several times. Oh, well, every meal doesn't have to be a good one. I always take a protein bar in my purse in case the catered salad is too grisly to eat. I was delighted to get a beautiful, crisp, super fresh salad with an excellent dressing on the side, lots of chicken and parmesan cheese, and a bottle of water. Someone in this company had a meeting today, and I had the receptionist order an extra box lunch for me. Eww. The thai wrap was drenched in a not very good peanut sauce and had cabbage in it, the vegetables were drowning in some sort of weird oil, and my "thai peanut chick wrap" came with a packet of mayonnaise and Grey Poupon. Cheap (box for ~ $12 - everywhere else charges at least $1-$2 more) AND it comes with utensils, small water bottle, and depending on what you pick, there's a bag of Tim's chips, cookie and or fruit/salad. 3. Fairly average sandwiches - wraps have a little more pizzazz - ordered for ~30 and everyone was happy with the food. People seemed to like the club sandwiches, the vegetarian pita & the thai/asian wraps. read more

I wanted to do an update on this as they went above and beyond to make up for the issue and we greatly appreciated that. They have a great customer service! We did a lunch order for our management team today with a scheduled a delivery window of 11:30-12 but the driver didn't show up until 12:45 and unfortunately the sandwich meat and macaroni salad were warm, not pleasant.
